Which came first?

Did LTTP come before or after WW? I mean, this is hard. Both games mention much of OOT, but nothing of each other. If LTTP was first, how come none of it was mentioned in WW? If WW was first, how did the Hylian language and legends find their way to the new Hyrule? Please answer the question.

The legends came with the Hylians when they came to the new land.  I think that TWW came before ALttP.  The new Hyrule was different than the old Hyrule is too many different ways.  But their similarities brings this question:  Did the ocean sink down to the old Hyrule, one reformed by the force of the water, or did Link and Tetra/Zelda really venture off to find a new Hyrule?  It all depends on interpretation and if you left some games out of your continuity theory (or timeline if you have wondered what I meant by that).

I know what you mean about the two theories, TDC has a Tetra and Link finding new Hyrule timeline, while Zelda Universe has a sea drained by those Deku trees (the ones the Koroks planted) timeline.

The sea was drained by the trees, huh?  I was thinking a receding tideline and evaporation.  A lot of evaporation.

When you go back to Outset Island it doesn't stop raining though.

I haven't played TWW in its entirety yet.  I was only able to get to the Forsaken Fortress for the first time.

When you get the first two of these pearls, you have to go to this island called Greatfish. Ganon suddenly puts a curse on the sea, and it makes it rain FOREVER. You have to go to Windfall (market island), get some bombs (won't tell you how), go to Outset, see your sick grandma, go behind the island, get stuck in a whirl pool, and fire bombs at this wall. If you destroy it before you get to the middle of the whirlpool, you go in, and Jabun the Great Fish (Jabu-Jabu) will give you the third pearl, and the rain stops. Now you can enter the Tower of the Gods.
