Ezlo is actually one of my favorite sidekicks. Him and Midna are both cool, and they don't annoy me. But King of Red Lions bothers me, whenever I want to go to an island and I have to do something eles, like get Din's Pearl or whatnot, and I want to go to Windfall Island, he won't let me!  >:(

Ganon's great new masterplan: Become Link's sidekick during one of his adventures. That way, he can punch him around, send him into the most dangerous of situations and distract him at the most inappropriate moments, and still get a "thank you" at the end.

*Looks at pics* Uh, I don't think Vaati missed Ezlo all that much, with the whole turning him into a hat thing. I like Midna better, she's a little darker then Ezlo, personality wise.

You might be surprised.  Human behavior is an odd little thing.  Vaati could've actually began to miss his mentor, but never admitted it and thought he was too far in to back out.

It is a possiblity.  :-\ I remember before I got MC, my friend said that Ezlo wasn't really a bird-hat, he was a human.  :P But now I can se there's a big difference between the Minish and humans, now that I have the game.  ;D
