As you cross the desert, you note the temperature is definitely better than the sweltering heat of Tantari. Though the journey is long, the time passes quickly as you wonder why someone wants to meet you so far out in Parapa Desert. As the tree comes into view, you see a silhouette split from it's form, it must be the he who you have been sent to meet. When he comes into view, the first thing you notice are his robes. They are of very high quality, very similar to something you would see on a noble. A blue color, they cover his shoulders, and run down to the middle of his forearms, though very wide at the end. The end of the robes are a fine white color that accents the green calves they cover most of. As you get closer, the scaly green skin that covers the arms, legs and face of the man shines bright in the sun. His long fingernails come to a sharp point about 3 inches past the tips of his fingers, and they stand out as a grey complexion. His ears are tiny, though very pointy, and his mouth is large. It looks over proportioned next to the other features on his face. His tiny eyes seem to have been stretched to an unhealthy size in an attempt to make them bigger, and his nose is no more than a bump with nostrils. He wears no shoes, his feet a dark green, with shorter and duller nails. Just looking at them, you can see the callouses that cover his small curved feet. You can see no weapons or anything else on his person for that matter, it doesn't even appear as if anything is cloaked under his robe.

“Greetings adventurers. I would like to thank you for showing up here, this means that Hyrule may have a chance to survive. I had previously left a message and I see you received and also deciphered it.”

OOC: Im sorry but i have no clue whats going on. Im going to read the first topic that leads to this in the morning. After this post I have to hit the hay.

IC: Dogura noticed the man. In fact, it looked more like a dinofos, rather than a man. As he approached him, the heat of the sun was beating down on Dogura's neck. It was bothersomne, but there was a nice breeze to compliment the heat. He stood in front of the man, and tilted his head. It was clear that he didnt understand his words. The vagabond removed a canteen from his sack, and took a large drink. The hollow sound of the container made it evedent that he had little left inside.

"So what exactly is going on here?" He questioned, finishing off his canteen. He wiped his mouth, and placed the container back inside his sack, and waited for a responce.

OOC: I hope i have the right topic.

OOC: Having informed a good 18 or so people, I'm surprised only one reply has been made. Maybe the other just need a few examples (that's what I was waiting for XD) Plus, the "Sending A Message" topic kinda clued me into the fact that this meeting needs to get rolling! :)

IC:

Parapa and Tantari. Hot and Hotter. Was this hell? Traversing the endless plains of Hyrule's infamous deserts until one's feet are flattened and their boots are wrecked and decayed seemed to be the typical punishment for a life of sin, and so one could easily accept Parapa as being the better of the two. There were always downsides and upsides. But sidesides? That would be ridiculous. Parapa's positive point was it's temperature - normally cooler than Tantari. And yet with all positives comes a negative. Such is the balance of the the world. The downside to Parapa? It was a vast, hardly navigable wasteland littered with all types of decaying, eerie landmarks. The dark lighthouse, the mysterious arrows, the pit, and lastly, the gnarled, dark tree.

On this bright, average day in Hyrule, a humble nomad paced the sands furiously. Now, while Parapa may have been observed as the colder of the deserts, it made little difference to one who had been travelling the barren wastes nonstop. How this man was beginning to loathe this sector of Hyrule. He often wondered if Parapa could even be considered a region of the kingdom; it seemed so offset from the rest of his world. It was such an unfriendly place. Exiles, bandits and Goriyas roamed the sandlands as though the heat did not phase them at all, and this bothered him. The heat was one of his main concerns. Not to mention the strange cloaked men that he had seen closer to the south, just standing alone as if lifeless. On one journey, the grunt had approached the still, cross-armed figure to confirm vital status, but had backed away as a titanic weapon was brandished in his direction.

And so it made little sense for Blank Fireside to be wandering about in this untamed wild. Perhaps he was being chased and sought solitude, away from the civilized regions of Hyrule. Or perhaps it could all relate back to the small gathering in the South Greens. He recalled meeting with Denning and a few others, and he had deciphered some sort of riddle. This had led to a burst of speed from the confused Hylian, who had proceeded to bolt across Hyrule Field in a wild dash for the connecting mountain range of the Thicket and Parapa Desert. Finding his way through the cave had been no trouble at all, and now he slogged wearily across the beige plains, cursing as every step brought up minuscule mountains of sand, which found their way directly into the depths of his boots.

And so it was that Blank arrived at the ominous tree. A skeleton hung from its dead branches, a shocking display of execution; organized and legalized murder. The tale had been told on several occasions. Blank's only remaining question: Was this Vindunu truly a Gerudo? The question's answer was obvious enough, though. Disregarding the now unsurprising, bony corpse, Blank's attention was caught on the reptilian man standing nearby. The presence of Dogura did not come off as a surprise; the samurai seemed to be the wandering type, so Parapa was the perfect place to do such a thing. Nodding hello to his friend, Blank stepped by and approached the lizard man. He spoke one word, and his voice carried from his vocal chords with a taint of an inquisitive tone.

"Scythe?"
