An average sized Gerudo leaned against an expertly carved counter, shaded by the cliff that hung overhead. A sign hung on the front of the counter, which read:

<center>10 Leevers will appear from the depths of the sand behind this counter. The more you shoot, the better your prize! It costs 10 rupees to play, and you get 10 shots. We provide your arrows, but you must be equipped with your own bow.</center>

The Gerudo looked around for participants, for it was most likely her first day on the job.

OOC: This will work similar to to the shooting game in Rauru. You will choose a set of numbers:

For 3 matching numbers, you win your rupees back, and you try again free.
For 4 matching numbers, you win 15 rupees.
For 6 matching numbers, you win 30 rupees.
For 8 matching numbers, you win 200 rupees.
If all 10 numbers match, you win all of the rupees I currently have.

This is being set up so that my rupees don't remain on an inactive account. I'd rather them be spent than they be sitting under cobwebs.

Aureliano felt like wondering the deserts today. He enjoyed the desert because it was arid like his hometown, plus his skin was already tan, so he did not have to worry about sunburns. He often came here for solitude and enlightment, especially when faced with a problem. This time being none other than his landlord.

As Aureliano thought about methods on how to pay his rent, he stumbled into the Gerudo. He read the sign on the front of the counter, and decided one of the goddesses had sent him a sign. He immedietly got to his knees and said a prayer:

"Din, Nayru, and Farore, thank you for this gift. I am well aware that I am not your perfect son, but this gift you have given has increased my morale, and I have decided to strive to be a worthier person."

Aureliano then got up and told the Gerudo, "I would like to try."

The Gerudo yawned, and counted the Leever corpses that dotted the desert area. "Hmmm... Not too impressive... I've seen better shooting back where I come from." She rudely remarked, handing the adventurer's rupees back to him. "Looks like you got about three. That means you've earned the right to keep your rupees, or try again free." She placed the rupees in his hand, and hoisted herself up onto the counter. "So try again, or save yourself the embarrassment?" She laid down on the counter, and stared at the sky.
"Its up to you hon."

"Sorry, I'm better at hand-to-hand." Aureliano murmered in a barely audible tone. He was severely unexperienced in the art of the bow and arrow, but getting a free try seemed reasonable. "I would like to try again." Aureliano told the Gerudo. "even if I do not succeed." Aureliano got ready and aimed at nothing in particular, hoping he would perform better

The Gerudo woman sat up, and stared out at the ocean of sands. "One, two, three... four.... five..." She counted, pointing out the Leevers as she went. "Six Leevers!" She exclaimed, swinging herself off the counter, and disappearing behind it. "Looks like you've earned yourself 30 rupees here! Good shootin Tex! What did you say your name was?" She handed him a bag of rupees, and grabbed a marker off of the counter. She knelt down and prepared to write his name on the poster.

Aureliano could not help but to grin. He opened the bag and stared at three yellow rupees glistening in the sun. He stared a little longer at his new treasure. He felt even better when he was complimented by the same Gerudo that had given him some tongue.

"My name is Aureliano, and it was a pleasure playing your game." he told the Gerudo, then gave her a smile and set off toward the exit of the desert, toward the woods. He now had means to pay for his rent.

The Gerudo woman wrote the name neatly on the poster. She finished, placed the marker on the counter, and took a few steps back. After assuring herself that it was readable, she turned, and smiled at her customer. "It was a pleasure doing business with you. Come back anytime hon!" With that, she jogged out onto the playing field to round up the dead Leevers, all the while being careful to avoid the Leevers that might pop out at her. It was, after all, mating season among the Leevers, and this being their favorite spot, made the perfect place to set up a game, while at the same time eliminating future annoyances.

OOC: Congratulations Aureliano! You made a net gain of 30 rupees! Not bad, considering you would normally need 30 posts to obtain all of that. Anyone step up, I'll be checking on this topic regularly.

I hate Leevers, Darilan thought as he read the sign. He had a couple bad run-ins with them im the past, and this could be his chance to get revenge, as well as practice his skill with his slingshot, which he rarely used.
