An archmage is sitting on a small bench, with birds of many colors around him. "Welcome, traveller. I see you have wandered here for a reason. In the back of your mind, you remember a lie you made that possibly harmed someone. Please, sit down, I have much to explain. I am Gerran Yergon, a man of the seas. I have travelled many places, and seen many things. With this comes great knowledge, and I have since learned somthing. All problems root form this: a lie. There is no evil wihtout lies. Now tell me, what is your worst lie?"

Alpha wanders by the man, listens to his question, and promptly turns to leave. "My greatest lie? My lies do not come from telling falsehood, but from not telling the entire truth. And it is going to remain that way."

"Oh, but that is still a lie. Unless you did mean to tell that, it is still a lie. I can tell. You had a lie that became one big problem. Or there was a problem you made bigger by a lie. What is it? Telling me it can help you!"

At the man's words, Alpha turns back and barks a laugh. "Ha! The only way telling you the truth could help would be if you could change the past. I tell anyone or anything the truth, and my life would be even more ruined than it already is!" His resolution to not tell is obviously very firm.

Blank strolls by to witness an escalating confrontation between Alpha and a strange man he has never seen, who he can now identify as Gerron Yergon. He hears the man's question, "What is your biggest lie," and promptly answers.

My life.

He continues walking, but decides to stand around, in the case that the man has a response, and to see the growing intensity between Alpha and this archmage.

Dogura looks down at the man with a glare. My lie.... is only to myself... I keep lying to myself... About the incident... I keep telling myselff it isnt true... Dogura clutches his head, and kneels down with a wince. I-I must leave NOW! B-Before i lose controll again.... Goddbye old man!... Dogura leeps into the shadows, as you hear in the great distance, a soul piercing howl...

"Yes, I understand your lie's intensity, Alpha. I can see it buries you with rage and fear. And Blank, your life is your lie? Why is that? I know all your names, including young Dogura. Tell him he needs to tell me his lie, and that in doing so I can help you overcome it. Alpha, I cannot change the past, but help you put it behind you. You do not have to tell me; that is your decision."

"If I told you my lie, you would run screaming and hide from my very name! Begone I shall! Worthless old man!"

Alpha gives the man a cold stare before speaking again. "Then I shall not tell you. Goodbye," he says as he turns away, walking in the direction of the North Castle.

OOC: Um, yeah, I'm really not ready to talk about that little...er, well, really it's a pretty big lie. But don't worry; you'll all get a chance to find out about it later in my storyline.

OOC :Can't wait!

Blank pops back to reality upon hearing his name mentioned. He thinks over the question and answers slowly.

Like Alpha, I choose to not go into detail on the subject of my past. It bothers me more thn it would bother others, however. I would still be forced to play the outcast. Let's just say... the lie is in the fact that my life spun into something it was not meant to be. A great falsehood that changed the way I was meant to live.

"I see. Do you blame this falsehood for all of your suffering?"

Blank looks puzzled at first, then answers the question.

Hell yes. Had it not been set in the wrong course without my approval and control, my life could have been far better. I refuse to explain why everything went wrong, it's just not something I'm willing to tell to someone I don't know. Maybe if I was drunk... My past is filled with unforgivable horrors that are best not described.

"I see, but you know not how your life would be now if it wasn't for that lie. Let's say you were attacked by Ganon. Would you blame that suffering on the lie? If not, wich I highly expect, you can't blame EVERYTHING on that lie. For all you know, you could have been at your death! All is a course set by farore. Remember, that you can always talk to someone about a lie. Why not explain it? Is it going to kill someone? I am a wise man, I can hande anyhing you tell me. If you prefer, you could step into my tent..."

I do not have the time to speak with you, good sir mage. Nor do I trust you enough. There are few that I would ever trust with the story of my life. It is especially the hidden details that would enrage the masses. No, I do not wish to divuge my sorrows onto another being at this time. Perhaps you will hear talk of my tale someday, but not today.

Blank continues on his way.
