"Why?" Tingle's father doesn't look up from his work and pictographs.
"Because I want to buy a fairy in Clock Town."
"Tingle!" The pictographer slams his hands on the table, and gets out from behind his desk. "I need you to stop pretending you're a fairy! You are not a fairy! You are a Terminian! And get out of those stupid tights! You embbarrass me all the time! And look at these maps!" Tingle dad grabs a map out of Tingle hand. "These look like they were made by a damn five year old! You are 35, boy! Grow up!"
"I am a fairy!!!!"
"No! You aren't! And yeterday, your salad made me vomit! The swamps now that much worse! You think tourists are gonna want to see a swamp with vomit floating in it?!"
Tingle, unable to hold in his sadness, began to cry like a little Girl."
"Oh gods..."
"I am a fairy!!" Tingle screamed this, and ran outside. Apparently, he forgot to take the ladder and fell of the ledge. "Bo hoo! I need o go see mister Fairy!"
Thus, since he somehow knew the location of the other world of Hyrule, he floated around in his balloon. Apparently, it popped, and he fell onto the top of a totem. (Thus begins the Legend of Link, by obsession studios!)
Fianlly, after long many days, Tingle returned to Termina. He was still a bit mad at his father.
As he neared the house, with an immature frown on his face, the 'fairy' saw something glowing and moving in the swamp water. He got closer... it was a beating heart! Being a stupid middle aged lunatic, he picked it up. As he held it, he thought to himself, "This is the sign of a fairy!" ... and in another part of his mind, absent-mindedly, he thought, "I wish daddy would die!"
Answering to his thoughts, a Big Octo came out of the water, and tore Tingle's home appart. A loud cry came out of the house, and parts of Tingle's father floated down stream. Tingle stared, astonished.
I obey your will, Davy Jones!
"What? I'm not Davy Jones! I'm Tingle!"
You are now! You have mastery over all beings in all the worlds of the sea!
"Wow! Thank you! This is truely a sign of Fairies! A fairy has done this for me!"
Tingle then moves to Hyrule, and, over the years, decides to take control of the Zora race. Some few were out of the water when Tingle cast his command, and those who didn't get effected are the good Zora we know today. The remaining became the evil Zola of Hyrule.
A long time past, and the Great Fload took place. For this, Tingle was greatful. He made his home at Tingle Island. The Sharks obeyed his will at all times.
Kill any who come to my island... but not fairies! The sharks would guard Tingle Island, and their master without rest. He also commanded the Krakens, or Big Octo, as you call them. He never revealed his secret to his little brothers, though. He would tell them that they were given Immortalily from a pretty fairy, when really, they were all damned by the gods, for they bore the Heart of Davy Jones, one who had been damned by a god himself! And that they the sharks would not tear their skin off as long as they turned Tingle Tower.
Now, of Tingle Tower. I'm sure you've heard of the Kraken? Or the Flying Dutchman? On that ship, there's a spinning tower that must be turned. When it reaches its top, it falls down hard, and summons... the Kraken... This was now Tingle's turn. He got Ankle and Knuckle to push Tingle Tower, to make the creatures, and the Big octo just North of his island, to obey his will.
But Knuckle wanted to go on his own adventures, now that he and his two brothers had their own religion of Fairies. He wanted to find his fairy. Thus he left Tingle Island, once Tingle finally let him go. But who would turn Tingle Tower?!
He knew what to do...
He went into the hidden door, under all of the flowers, which hid the fact that this was a deadly place, and went to the Heart... He put his hand over it (like Saruman putting his hand over the Palantir), and commanded telepathically, "Bring me a sailor from the sea. I need him to push Tingle Tower..."

David Jr. Looked down over the ship he road on. "Dad said that he ghost sihp is somewhere around here at night... but he wasn't sure..." He looked at the full moon over head. "He saw it a long ways from teh island... Oh... I wish he didn't die..." He pulled his pulley back over this ship. He had been out at sea by himself for the past few days. He wasn't a day's distance southwest of windfall, but stopping at every possible area in order to find the Ghost Ship Chart was going to take a very... very long time.
He dunked the pulley back into the Great Sea, hoping for something to hit it...
Thud!
"Yes!" exlaimed David. He pulled at the pulley exsitedly. "Haha!" He pulled a black treasure chest into teh ship, and opened it. "The Ghost Ship Chart! Yes!" He examined it carefully. "So... that was Cresent Moon Isle he was talking about, not... this isle... this one looks a bit scary... there's a huge tower... Well, no matter! i'm on my way back to Windfall... once the wind starts blowing Northeast!"
He looked up at his sails. "South... it'll be a few days before it goes back Northeast... but the wind... it's blowing harder thn usual... Uh-oh! Are those cyclones ahead?! Well, they aren't as big, but they're at least something! I need to get past those to reach that Isle... with the tower..." David yanked the sail. It was almost impossible. The wind was just getting stronger and stronger!
Oh man! Not now! Anytime but now! Please! He yanked, and the wind began to grow even sronger! Stronger! David was alone in a massive storm! "No! Ah!" A sail was torn from a pole, and shortly after the pole itself was yanked off! it landed a ways from him. He was getting nearer and nearer to the Isle... "Help me!!!"
A gergling sound came from the sea, and David Jr. only remembered a huge tentacle coming down on his for a split second...

"Finally, at long last, I've a slave of my own who may push Tingle Tower!"
But Master... do you know of the race of the Rito? The mailman, Quill, will most likely have seen that. Rito have eyes even more superior than Hylians!"
"Well... then make sure we have some of your family around Dragon Roost Island then. I wantr 12 north of it, and 8 south of it."
That leaves 32 of us, sir. So few...
"Or would you want to be fed to the wrath of me..."
No sir! I will tell them of your bidding.
"But alas, I am far from done... I want 12 of you to guard my isle... I hear there are fairies in two-eye Reef... I don't want to scare them too badly. They will be in charge of guarding the surrounding isles of fairies around, such as Southern Fairy Isle."
Aye, sir. But I hear there are fairies from Outset.. who should guard them?
"... I sense a good, loyal, and happy fairy from that area. I want 8 to go to Diamond Steppe Isle, making some distance, in order to not scare them."
And of the remaining 8?
"... Joy... Joy pendants are signs of fairies. They... make me happy... joyful... I always see an hold teacher bringing them to Private Isle. Tingle wants them! Send the remaining 8 to unmake her!"
Aye sir! We shall do as you bid!
"And be sure to get the Ghost Chart away from here!... bring it to Neddle Rock Island."
I will send my family there...
"You'd better." He opens his eyes, and lowers his hand from the heart. "I will see to my slave now..." He sends as though he's talking to the heart...

David awoke slowly. What... what happened... There was that huge what hit me so hard?... 
Ah! He got up, and looked into the eyes of two men in tights - one in pink, one in green.
"Hello, mister." says the green one. "You were in a pretty bad storm there, huh."
"... Yes... then... everything went all... It was terrible..."
"It was." said the pink, looking at the green one, as though he were making sure he said it right.
The green one grinned. "Yes... We have to ship to guide you back..." Then he grinned, "Unless you are willing to earn it."
David felt uneasy. He got up, and looked at his dirty cloths, which was windfall clothing. "You might need new clothes... Ankle, get him the suit" said the green one.
"Yes, sir..."
Shortly after, Anlke returned with white tights. "Where this." said the green one, a smirk on his face. Yes, slave... wear what I like most...
Hesitantly, David put on the white suit. After he shivered with a find of sick feeling, he asked, "So what go you mean by 'earn'." a look of worry on his face came over him.
"You will see... oh yes, you will see... start by pushing Tingle Tower around and around."
Now David was getting really worried. Was this the new form of Micheal Jackson?! It sure seemed like it.
"So... I don't see any buildings... where can I sleep?"
"You will see... oh yes, you will see..."
"... Ok. So how much do I need to earn."
"As far as I'm conserned... a boat..."
This guy freaks me out... I have a bad feeling about my future here.
I'm sure you do, my slave...

Me... my name is Tingle... David saw the green man look evilishly into his eyes...

Thus, from that day forward, David Junior pushed Tingle Tower over and over again. He tried to escape once or twice, but he got caught every time, thanks to the great powers of the Heart of Davy Jones, and Tingle would make him go swimming with the fishes... that have very large, sharp teeth. David was always tortured if he did not do as Tingle bidded. He would be brought into Tingle's secret opening, and have Tingle's mapping pen jabbed into the opening of his toenails. David learned from that...
But soon, after the great hero completed his mission to save Hyrule, the new land was found. David was releived to finally be near others. But Tingle told him that if ever he was caught outside of Lake Hylia, he would be drowned. Knuckle and Ankle all stayed in different parts of the world for a time. Nothing speacil happened then.
Same with when ingle travelled around in Holodrum and Labryyna. He would always just map things.
But after long years, Tingle learned that Force Gems were a fad, and he was desperate. The Heart spoke to him during this time. Tingle, I hear that a horrible being is going to crush the fairy world. You must be sure that he does not get the Force Gems. If you collect them, a fairy will come to you.
"OK."
Therefore, Tingle tried his best to get as many force gems as he could, but he always failed.
Then Tingle learned that there were many fairies in the lands to the North. (This was about the same time he finally let David free. After so many long years of brutal torture, he was set free. But alas, the curse of Davy Jones was still upon him...) While Tingle was crossing over Death Mounatin, his balloon suddenly popped, and he fell into enemy territory. There he encountered Ganon, Prince of Darkness.

"So, Mister Ganon, you are letting me find fairies?!"
"Um... yes, Tingle. You possess enough power through the heart of Davy Jones."
"Wow!"
"Now, I have a Kingdom to conquer!" He turned away from Tingle, and towards a massive crowd of mindless Moblins and octoroks, and all the like. "Now! Infiltrate Hyrule, and make them suffer! And be sure to bring me Zelda... I need her power..."
"AYE!" Howled the monsters.
"Bye-bye! And tell them about this fairy deal of yours, Mr. Ganon."
Ganon sighed. "And leave only the fairies alive! Kill the others! Capture them... and bring them to me..."
"No, me!"
"Shut up, mindless dolt!"
"OK." Tingle spoke with a grin on his face.
Thus explaining why Link had to save so many fairies... :rolleyes:

OOC: Ok, guys, I know you've been waiting for a long time, and I'm running behind, so I'm sure you know how now, right? Because Tingle had the Heart of Davy Jones, he gained power. After AoL, Tingle is given a fragment of the Triforce of Power. Now, he is one of the many who will lead the Parapa Exiles.
