The boy wiped out the sweat off his brow with his handkerchief. His eyes stared at his work with satisfaction: a large pile of wooden logs, all piled up on one another, forming a pyramid shape. He had woken up quite early, before the sun had even considered to rise, to deal with the disturbance he had made in the street the night prior. First and foremost, he took care of removing the stump, easily unearthing the remains of the trunk and all the roots that connected to it with a swift and powerful pull. Then, moving along to the branch area, abandoned in the middle of the street, he carefully plucked out all the fruits from their branches. He made three piles - one for the ones ripe and ready for consumption, another for those still green, and a final one for those that had been ruined after the tree fell. He picked out a couple from the first pile and unceremoniously dug in; it was time for breakfast.

After his morning meal had left him satisfied, he started digging up a small hole where the stump had once been, and, using the seeds that remained from the fruit he had eaten, he planted a new tree where the old one had prospered. Using his rupee pouch, previously emptied for safety, he collected some water from the nearby sea and watered the earth surrounding the seeds; he trusted they would soon turn to saplings and would one day grow into a large tree like their predecessor. "Grow." - he spoke to them, tapping the earth over them warmly. He stood up. Now all that was left was to take care of the debris in the middle of the street. Hoisting his axe well above his form, he proceeded in chopping down the two logs into more manageable wooden blocks, parallelepiped in shape, and stacking them together in a large square besides the inn doorway. After that was done - the sun had decided to grace the world with his presence by this time - he started to cut each individual branch separately, and piling the resulting sticks over the wooden blocks he had just constructed. It was a meticulous work, to make each branch disconnected from any other smaller intersections, and removing every single leaf. By the time he was done, already some commotion was underway in the area surrounding him - yelling that had no doubt come from the inn, people fighting some ways off from him... These were not his affairs however; as such, he had no interest in their development.

However, when his employer darts from the inn and decides to intervene in this struggle, then it made these affairs his as well. The boy dropped the stack of fruit he was about to deliver for the Zora's breakfast - it didn't look like he'd need them now - and raised his axe well up, having no problems in wielding its heavy form.

He was not very well versed in fights, having not participated in one before, but it couldn't be much harder than chopping trees. He first scanned the area for an adequate target. These piratefolk seemed like the opponents, the trees he needed to cut down to size. Eying a random element on that team, he eventually focused on the individual clad in red: he seemed to stand out the most, and, compared to the other pirates, did not seem like the biggest threat. Like a wild bull, he quickly charged at the man, encouraged by words of leadership he had heard just a few moments before. He quickly shortened the distance between the two of them, his expression calm and emotionless, and when it looked like they would collide, the boy leaped up high and spun his axe vertically, spinning his own body in the process to add momentum and potency to his attack.

Hedgehogs weren't the only ones who could attack via spinning.

[Music= Pirate Fight]

Sakiko's thunder spell resolves magnificently, leaving no enemy untouched. Sparks rain down jolting the opposing crew. [Corvass -6HP], [Harley -6HP], [Hannah - 6HP], [Boone -6HP], [Pierce -17HP], [Finnegan -17HP], [Brick -17HP], [Oaken -3HP], [Blind No Damage]. Arrika's blade struck true, nailing Harley in the side. [Harley -8HP]. He cries out in pain, and misses a revenge swipe at her. His heightened sense of awareness however, allowed him to sense an incoming magical arrow that he easily avoided. He looked around for the source, but detected no archer.

Alpha's leadership spell rains a heightened sense of agility on the team, and lightens their bodies to be able to strike quickly, and leap out of danger. Taint recognized a certain bellow over the noise of the battle. It was Corvass' voice echoing around as they fought. "Kill them all! Don't let any of them escape! We'll feast under a full moon tonight!" [Leadership L1 - SPI]. He walked around supervising the battle, and failed to notice a falling wooden assailant. He was injured, but felt like he could still fight- this would prove to be a grave mistake. He turned his eyes upward and spotted a small wooden warrior block out the sun. He snarled and raised his sword, blocking the attack perfectly. However his eyes popped open at the strength of the Deku. He's unbearably strong... What kind of force is this? It's... It's too much! The attack broke through his blade and cut through him like he was a soft napkin. His abdominal flesh in ribbons, he fell to the ground in a slump.

"The Captain's down!!" Brick called out, his massive voice rumbling the island. He glared down at the Deku and swung his hammer in a high arc, bringing it down on the Deku with all his might! But Yukie was too fast. He moved just barely out of the way of the hammer before it collided with the island. It was so close, the Deku likely caught a mean shock wave from the impact. Orpheous charged into the fray, his intended target to be Corvass. But instead, he discovered the man's disemboweled corpse. Instead, he found Boone in the madness, and swung his staff hard at the man. Boone managed to block with a small iron rod from one of his sleeves. He attempted to deliver a blow back, but missed as well. Suddenly he stopped, sensing a mighty magic brewing. He searched for the man from before, Alpha, but couldn't find him in the thick of battle. Instead his eye was torn from everything else to the actual source. The sight of Thealter was captured in his retina just before an elemental burst of light consumed them all. [Harley -12HP], [Hannah Full Resist], [Boone Full Resist], [Pierce -24HP], [Finnegan -24HP], [Brick -24HP], [Oaken Full Resist], [Blind No Damage].

Boone uncovered his eyes, thankful that he'd resisted against the element he was weakest against. Finnegan was apparently also blinded a little more than he'd have hoped to be. He felt a sword cut his leg, and quickly jerked away trying to regain his vision. Saber was able to get away before the drunkard could properly see him. Boone had seen enough, and decided that he too needed to pull out all the stops. "You want to fight with magic? Good... Me too..." He raised his hands into the air, and his cloak started flapping around from the magic energy he was gathering around himself. Oaken hopped away from the mage. "TAKE COVER!! BOONE'S PISSED!" He cried out, the entire opposing team diving the ground and covering their heads. Taint raised his shield and closed his eyes. He knew what was coming next- one hell of a boom. The earth cracked apart as what looked like dragons made out of water descended upon the crew. The water ripped and tore at every single crew member, even Taint feeling the effects of an attack from his own natural element.

[Taint -16HP], [Dogura -32HP], [Morgoth -32HP], [Alpha -32HP] [Yukie -32HP], [Leth -31HP], [Arrika -32HP],
[Sakiko -32HP], [Saber -32HP], [Orpheous -32HP], [Thealter -32HP], [Teal -32HP]

When the ripping waves stopped, Taint took a moment to assess the losses. It looked like the field was about even right now... Damn... It looks like we lost Leth. Nayru rest his soul... We've taken down Corvass, and that looks like Pierce's body over there... Even if he'd unconscious, it's one more down on their side. "How are we doing, everyone okay?" He called out putting his arms down completely now. That had been one fierce spell. My crew can't handle another attack like that. We've got to deal with Boone. Without Corvass around, he's the biggest threat right now. Suddenly a yell erupted from the other crew. "Is that little skank wearing my boots?" Dogura picked her out of the crowd- it was the female member of the crew, and he stare was burning a hole in Arrika. Taint noticed this too. "No! That's Hannah! If she traps Arrika, then Arrika's gonna die! She's hurt right now!" Dogura nodded. "I'm on it." He knelt down in prayer and prayed a healing glow over Arrika. The Goddesses understood and granted him his prayer, as Arrika was restored, some of her gravest wounds closing up tight. [Arrika +20HP]. Dogura stood up and noticed Sakiko, who was on the brink of death. She was gravely injured. He prayed and prayed, but it seemed the Goddesses didn't want their powers abused.

He turned to Alpha, who was also capable of healing wounds. "Sakiko!" He cried to him, hoping he would comply and save the young girl's life. Dogura knew she looked up to him. The eyes she made at the man were unmistakable. If he let her die... She would die in misery, under the impression that her hero felt nothing for her. Morgoth stepped forward and knelt down next to Leth's lifeless body. "This boy was meant for more than this. I'll not let him have breathed his last breath!" [Resurrection L2]. The breath of life was once again breathed into the archer. [Leth +15HP]. Dogura stared wildly at Morgoth. "You know resurrection? That spell is known only to the most devoted clerics!" Morgoth closed his eyes for a moment, recovering from all the magic he'd just spent. "In order for one to truly understand the deep darkness that is death... One my first understand the majestic beauty that is life." Dogura seldom heard such proverbs since his father had died. It made the samurai a little nostalgic, and cause him to harbor a bit of a respect for the man. He'd just saved one of his ally's lives after all. "Thank you." Dogura stated before preparing to jump back into the fray.

"Boone..." Taint began. "...You're mine." He took off towards the fight, intent on lopping the mage's head clean off. In the meanwhile, Arrika found a dark looking magic forming a translucent barrier around her. It closed at the top in a dome formation, and now in front of her stood Hannah. "You're gonna learn what happens when you steal from a pirate you little hussie." She hissed at the girl before lunging at her, blade bared. [Dome of Death] Taint knew full well that would happen, and passed the dome on his warpath to Boone. Harley darted past him, but he didn't stop. Harley was someone else's problem for now. The fire mage launched a brilliant fiery missile at Thealter [Fire L2], who'd recently damaged him. The flames connected with Thealter perfectly, but the masked combatant was able to ward off the flames the moment they struck. [Thealter -10HP]. Suddenly, Teal launched out of nowhere, and spun over Harley's hot-head, his ax gaining momentum as he dropped. Before Harley could react, the ax was embedded deep within the man's brain straight through his forehead, and killing him instantly. [Harely -13HP] He dropped to his knees, and then to the dirt. Taint swung his sword at Boone with all his might, and Boone managed to dodge the rusty blade. "You can't hit me like that, Crowjack. C'mon... Unleash that technique that got you into the crew in the first place... I want to see that power again." The Zora screamed as he swung again and again, each of them expertly trading blows, blocking and delivering attacks of their own.

The fight was getting fierce.

Blind, the man who had been standing around the whole time slowly moved towards Pierces, body and looked down at him for several seconds. He slowly reached down and plunged into the corpse' chest. His wretched hand returned with a glowing blue ball in his hand. He opened his mouth and a longer than average black tongue emerged from his mouth, slightly undoing the sewing around the corners of his mouth. His tongue wrapped around the orb, and retrieved it to his mouth, where he swallowed the orb whole. He then slowly began making his way towards Corvass, probably to repeat the process. As Taint was fighting Boone, he noticed that the man had actually moved after all this time. He'd never seen that member of the crew- he didn't know what his power was, or why he was inducted into the crew; but a bad feeling was welling up in his heart about it. Before he could think another thought, Oaken darted past him. Taint gritted his teeth, hoping that the Deku's target was someone strong. The tiny warrior spotted Orpheous, and leaped straight for the man. He brought the giant sword around and barely missed the scribe. He landed, ready for action once more.

Arrika grinned when Harley failed to strike her back, but her triumph was short-lived. She sensed the water dragon that crashed upon the deck a second too late and was knocked to the ground, skidding painfully and finally crashing into the mast. Her right side erupted in pain from where she’d collided. With a sinking feeling, she realized that she’d broken her arm as well.

Chaos had erupted around her as the battle progressed, and from the corner of her eye, realized Sakiko had and the crew had also been gravely injured.

She had to hide. She was out of her league against these pirates; she should have stayed behind in her room until the battle was over. She tried to draw herself back up, but her right ankle was just as useless, and it left her trying to crawl away, leaving a pitiful trail of blood behind. She was weak, but conscious enough to be aware of every moment of agony, of every fractured bone and splinter embedded in her skin.

Dogura reached her mere moments later, and she clutched at him, trying to plead with him to let her leave, but the words fell incomprehensibly from her mouth. For some reason she thought he was going to do her a favor and end her misery… but instead, she found herself leaping to her feet with renewed vigor, many of her wounds healed, and the blood flow reduced to stagnant stains.

The thief fully intended to run from the battle, especially since she now had the energy to, but a harsh cry stopped her dead in her tracks.

"You're gonna learn what happens when you steal from a pirate you little hussie." She hissed at the girl before lunging at her, blade bared.

The dome closed over her before she could escape and she watched the female pirate with increasing trepidation. She had lost the dagger she’d used to strike Harley when the water dragon spell had knocked her down, and she drew another one from the belt at her side, this one with a serrated edge and a deadly-looking hook at the point.

“You must be Hannah,” she said, remembering what the man at the festival had called the shoes. She backed up to the edge of the dome while keeping her eyes on the angry woman and slammed the back of the pommel of her blade on the dome to test its strength, even though she didn’t really expect it to have any noticeable effect.

The cries of her fellow adventurers and their opponents sounded muffled and distant, and the direness of her situation grew with every second. If she was going to die here, she wouldn’t go down without giving Hannah a few scars to remember her by.

With a simple flick of her wrist, she sent a lone silver needle laced with venom towards Hannah, silent and so slender that it was nearly impossible to see. It was a rare but effective poison, one that she’d been saving for a fight like this.

Sabertache hadn't felt such desperation in a battle in a long time; he just barely escaped from that drunk with his life. Din knows how he managed to nick his target in the process. His sword seemed a bit outdated in a fight of this magnitude; there were a few key players they had to protect; as well as some key players they had to remove in order to dismantle their enemy.

Needless to say, his thought process was a little disrupted when he was suddenly submerged, bowled over by a sudden tempest. Just another reason to hate magic. He'd have to hope that the medallion he got in the Seed quest would let him hold out against another magical assault, if at least for a little bit longer. Several of his allies were wounded even worse than he; worst off was Sakiko, who barely seemed concious at this point. Regaining his footing, he took off towards the female mage, raising the sheath in his left hand before him to create another line of defense.

"Sakiko, I'm going to buy you some time. Use it wisely."

He stood before the mage in a wide stance, sheath firm before him and saber twitching nervously at his side.

The entire field erupted into chaos as the two sides collided and collapsed into each other, giving Alpha precious few seconds to get out of Boone's sight and into a safer position. Within a few minutes three of the pirates were down, as was Leth -- though not for long, thanks to Morgoth (he'd never thought he'd say something like that). The water dragons took a bite out of him as well, but he somehow managed to remain standing and feeling relatively alright. He eyed Boone, then looked to Yukie. The Deku made eye contact with him, the pair looked at Boone, and then nodded to each other. 'We have to take him out. Now.'

Yukie shot forward, while Alpha hung back for a moment, hurrying in a different direction to try and stay in Boone's blind spot -- relatively easy given he had one less eye than most. But he stopped short all of a sudden, hoping Yukie would see the reason for his sudden halt and continue on without him.

Dogura's eyes bored into his own for mere moment, before the samurai yelled the name. "Sakiko!" The Sheikah's eyes shot back to where his fellow mage knelt, and he could only cringe at the sight. She'd been hurt by that Elemental Explosion, and badly. 'Yukie, I'll be there as soon as I can!' He rushed over to her side, sliding to a stop next to her and Saber. He reached out and placed his glowing white fingers on her head and chest. "Life!"

[[Life L1 -- Sakiko]]

He glanced around for a moment, eyes falling on Morgoth. The necromancer was also badly injured -- if both he and Alpha survived this round, the Sheikah would turn his healing energies on their compelled crewmate as well.

"Oh, by the way," he muttered to Sakiko as a thought struck him. He hefted Brenyuu as he stood up and offered her a hand. "Don't waste magic on that Thunder spell of yours again. It . . . won't work nearly as well as last time."

Orpheous was knocked back by Boone attack, actually propelled of his feet, and he collided with the dock strongly. He swore he could have felt a rib or two break. He pushed himself back up, only to find a horrible sight in front of him. Orpheous could not believe the amount of damage Boone had managed to inflict. He brought all of his allies half-way to death, if not closer. This was very, very bad. Leth was already in rendered unconscious, perhaps worse.

Then Orpheous noticed Morgoth, that necromancer. He was pretty roughed up as well, but what shocked Orpheous is that the summoner of the dead was actually a healer, possibly even a cleric. He cast resurrection, bringing the incapacitated Leth back to his feet. Orpheous realized that none of his comrades possessed this power, and he was pleased to see that even somebody who was their prisoner was so willing to help them, and had perhaps one of the greatest skills for doing so. Orpheous approached Morgoth, and gave him a light touch. "Life," uttered the Scribe, a summoner in his own right [Life L1 on Morgoth][-8 SPL]

Meanwhile, as Orpheous healing spell was taking affect, he turned to review the rest of the battlefield. Realizing the comment that woman made earlier, and knowing the name of the boots Arrika wore by having heard of her winning of the prize, he noted that Hannah was in a one-on-one kind of combat dome blocking out all that stood between a clean fight between her and Arrike, but Orpheous wasn't worried, that thief could hold her own.

Three of the nine enemy crew had already been dispatched, and Orpheous was pleased to see that the captain, as he noted earlier, was amongst them. Yet Boone was clearly more lethal than any of the rest, far more than some might have predicted him for. Orpheous noted that Boone should be taken out, and taken out quickly. Hopefully, his comrades noticed that themselves. Then there were the three muscle men, and Orpheous noted that the Deku at least seemed pretty resilient to the magical bombardment thus far. Unfortunately, that little bugger moved with a decent amount of speed. The alcoholic Orpheous could guess was a practitioner of some form of the drunken fist, a martial artistry that takes the effects of alcohol on the body and uses it to hone fighting tactics. After all, it appears nobody was admitted into this crew without purpose. That giant lug also looked pretty lofty, but there was no way he could come close to resiting magics for the most part.

Then there was that one, the blindfolded one. He scared Orpheous. He had yet to attack, but instead had gone to at least two of his fallen comrades, and extracted what could possibly be identified as soul matter from them. It struck Orpheous as odd that the blinded folded one even did this to the body of the captain. Then, he proceeded to eat the unknown substance. He was also not taking any damage from any magical attack thus far sent at him. Its invulnerability seemed second nature, as if it wasn't even in the heat of battle. Orpheous would watch this one carefully. He had heard once of a thief named Blind, not the he knew the name of the fellow in the blindfolds. He was alive in the time of the great Cataclysm. He was no ordinary thief though, for he was actually a monster hiding in a thief's husk, or perhaps a man whom became a monster. This Ganondorf to Ganon relation didn't matter though, the concept was that this man, this blindfolded man, had not even shown his true power yet, what made him truly an adversary in combat. Perhaps, as his blindfolds might insinuate, he was the Blind of Old. Then may the gods help them all.

---

Thealter, in the meanwhile, was bashed up not only by Boone's spell, but also by Harvey's fire attack. He would have been happy to stay down and fake being dead, but he knew that if the pirates won, they'd make sure the entire crew that stole their ship was dead. He pushed himself off the ground, only to see Arrika being targeted by some kind of spell by Hannah, and that spell somehow issued a one-on-one fight between the two. Now there was nothing he could do to help her. He only sighed. Now those pirates would pay in blood.

First things first, he would take retaliation on the one who injured the lovely thief. He drew up his staff, and rushed at Boone with all the speed he could muster. Then he brought his staff, crashing like a meteor, raining down upon Boone's form [Staff on Boone][Will - 9].

"TAKE COVER!! BOONE'S PISSED!"
Sakiko swerved around, her eyes growing large with shock and horror. The rapidly rising figures of scaly monsters glinted faintly with the dim light of darkness of early morning, great and threatening. Everything seemed to be trapped in slow motion, including her ability to react – her brain screamed at her to duck, cover her head with her arms, anything. Just as she dared to blink her eyes, she felt a tremendous force pushing her body. A scream threatened to tear out from her throat, when she crashed into a solid surface and stifled the shriek.

Pain began to ebb into nothing; piercing throbs echoed into numb darkness, and her vision grew dim. She struggled to open her eyes, rising in and out of consciousness. Sakiko managed to get up on her knees, Strangely enough, she could feel the dampness of the wood beneath her, the rumbling of footsteps on the deck floor, the breeze of the ocean caressing her skin, but she couldn’t hear or see the battle going on at the moment. From her dazed state, she saw figures come and go… one was muttering something continuously, and anothera figure stand by her – he carried something in his hands…he was saying something…he was saying her name…

No, no, no…I can’t go like this…no…

Suddenly, Sakiko felt a warm touch on her head. She didn’t know what was going on, and if it had a physical effect or not, but she felt slightly better. Sakiko blinked her eyes slowly, allowing for them to refocus. The mage stood uncertainly, leaning against Saber as she did so. Her breathing was too shallow to give a proper thanks, but she hoped that the look that she gave Alpha was enough. I knew he would always be there… Sakiko gave Saber’s shoulder a weak squeeze of thanks, and decided that she must act quickly. By what she could see, things weren’t going so well.
Ice of Deception
Ice and wind create fleeting but sharp images that cut into enemies and cause damage. Enemies that are damaged are confused for one round.

The mage closed her eyes, her pale lips moving to utter a plea to Nayru. Let the wind carry forth the icy waters of the ocean… Sakiko wasn’t sure if she was dreaming or not, but when she opened her eyes, she saw a faint outline of a nymph-like creature smiling at her. It twirled and dipped into the ocean, vaporizing into the air like fog dissipating. I must be going crazy…She breathed a painful, sharp intake of air, hoping this wasn’t the last thing she’d see.

OoC: Okay, this took a bit longer than expected...

IC:

His axe was moving at high speeds. The red-vested pirate, completely oblivious, remained motionless: a sitting target. Chance of evading: none. They would collide in three... two... one...

When there was supposed to be heard a 'clunk' or a 'clash', the sound had come off quite different; that of a 'woosh' of a rapid water current emerging from every crank, nook and corner of the stone-paved floor. It came with alarming speed, and before the boy could stop his charge and regain a steady footing, the waters - foamy fangs already bare and ready like those of a dragon - quickly enveloped him inside their embrace. He attempted swim upwards for air but, while he was unnaturally strong, his body was still as frail and nimble as the ten-year-old he was; the currents had more than enough strength to keep pushing him from side to side like a rag-doll. Without even managing to take a hold of the situation, so frantic he was in kicking his legs to try and escape, he hit his head on the floor and opened his mouth in reflex - a mistake that he would regret dearly as the waters, merciless and unforgiving, quickly made their way into his mouth and lungs. Suddenly, a jet - or perhaps a stronger current - punched him directly in the stomach, springing him upwards and then smashing him against the wall of a nearby building. He found himself coughing for air while blood kept trickling down his arm and forehead. He blinked a couple of times to fully regain his reason, the receding tide licking his injuries clean before returning from whence it came.

Taking but a moment to re-establish himself, the youth quickly pushed his left arm forward, debris falling from where it was encased, before doing the same to his other arm. Soon, the rest of his body followed, limb after limb, while his eyes kept searching for the culprit in question. He eyed a tall, gruff man with an eye-patch tackling his employer; there was a large magical disturbance in that area - no doubt that individual was the culprit. His gaze then shifted back to his original target; good, the pirate garbed in red was still completely oblivious. Not allowing anyone any room for a breather - because apparently his opponent would also give him none - he sprinted towards his target, leaped up as high as his legs would allow him, then came crashing down atop his adversary.

Clash.

The boy remained suspended in mid-air, his axe successfully splitting the man's head in two while blood and brain matter gushed out in all directions. He let go of his weapon for a moment, allowing his leather shoes to quickly come in contact with the floor. As if on cue, the corpse behind him fell to the opposite side, completely lifeless and with a marred face; even if one tried to decipher if he had died calmly, the head had been completely torn in half, and there was no way to tell. The teal-eyed woodcutter's face was now painted in a sordid crimson color, his mouth and eyes still serene and unchanging, providing an almost eerie sight for anyone that dared to look. Without any qualms towards his actions, he quickly turned back towards the carcass and removed his weapon from its lodging - he had just murdered someone for the first time, although it seemed unlikely for it to be his last. Shifting his stance, he gazed at the battlefield - more specifically the combatants - looking for his next target.

At first he eyed the eye-patch man, but he seemed to be in combat with his employer: without prior notice, it would probably be hard to coordinate their efforts. Then his eyes set upon the little wooden Deku, that one too he discarded for being too little a threat. Then his gaze fell upon the dark dome just to his side, however, even if he wanted to interfere, he wasn't sure he could penetrate such darkness. He then focused on a gruff, heavy, muscled man standing a little ways from him. Such a buffed individual would probably be the best target for his axe - larger trees tended to provide more and better wood, so it would probably be the same case with this individual. As he dashed forward once more, only one thought crossed his mind.

Humans were much easier to cleave through than trees.

OOC: As you all might have noticed, this thing is a full fledged event now! :)
Keep posting like you have and we'll finish this thing up within the month of February! I appreciate the continued participation, and there's a shiny TP waiting at the end of it all now! Now let's finish these ladies off!

IC:

Taint's sword locked with Boone's iron rod, sparks flashing every time they collided. While Boone was adept in the arcane elements, he was also quite an accomplished fencer. He was able to keep up with the Zora blow for blow. But he was running out of strength to compete with- Taint's repeated powerful strikes were taking their toll on the mage's stamina. "Who is the guy with the blindfold?" Taint asked through gritted teeth as their weapons collided once more. "You're trying to distract me, and I won't fall for it." Boone shot back, tossing an elemental burst, which nearly collided with the Zora- but he was able to deflect it with his shield into the air, where the fire burst harmlessly. "Who... IS HE?" Taint screamed, as he swung down with all his might. It broke the rod in half, and the man had to leap back a bit. "I don't know who you're talking about!" The cyclops screamed. Taint looked towards the blindfolded abomination for a split second. Blind was headed for Harley's body, and as he knelt down he looked directly at Taint. He raised his decrepit index finger to his lips as if signaling to the Zora to hush.

"Captain!" Dogura screamed as he jumped in front of the Zora, blocking the knife that was headed for him. "Keep your eyes up! We'll worry about that other guy when we have less 'problems'." The samurai screamed, blowing fire at Boone. The mage stepped backwards and avoided it easily. Taint snapped back to attention. "R-right!" He affirmed, and charged back into the fray. Morgoth watched from a distance, quite winded from the previous attacks. However he was intrigued by the situation. The one-eyed mage doesn't seem to know about that abomination of a man on his crew... What's more is that he doesn't even seem to notice him. Morgoth flashed back to when Boone ran an electric beam through his messenger phantom. How could he have seen the phantom... and yet not even notice that guy? Suddenly the necromancer felt the warm glow of healing touch upon his wounds, and cleanse him of pain. He trailed the source to Orpheous and nodded at the man. "Thank you." He said, before turning to his two remaining skeletons. They both perished and turned to ash, as their time on this earth was once again up. He clasped his hands together and focused his magic into his most powerful basic summon. [SPL- 15]

The earth once again flickered a green color before five beings shot up from the dirt. Garo-Ninja's landed at Morgoth's front, ready to obey his every command.

Arrika hit her target dead on, as the poisoned needles hit the woman directly in the chest causing her to flinch momentarily. [Hannah -4HP & PSN] The thief yanked the needles out of her chest and snickered at Arrika. "Is that the best you've got? Needles? I overestimated you. This'll be over faster than you can beg for your life." She prepared to stealth, when suddenly a pain welled up in her chest. She coughed, and took a knee. Poison? Those needles were poisoned? Hmph... I'll have to end this quickly- maybe Boone can heal me. She tossed down a Deku-nut and disappeared from sight. [Stealth]
[Hannah -2HP]

Yukie's approach was undetected by Boone, who was dealing with both Dogura and Taint- a feat few could accomplish. The Deku sped up behind Boone, and sunk both daggers deep into his back. [Boone -22HP] He clenched his teeth and closed his eyes, giving Dogura an opening. The samurai decided to immobilize the threat, and sunk his katana deep into the mage's leg. [Boone -16HP]The man fell to a knee, allowing Taint to deliver the final blow to the man. The Zora walked up to the mage, who was now surrounded on all sides. He looked up at Taint and cursed under his breath. "Curse you Crowjack... Curse you... I... What IN THE HELL IS THAT?!" He screamed, pointing a finger at Blind. Dogura turned and looked at Blind, who was watching Boone intently... Hungering... Yearning... Taint decided that this must have been a diversionary tactic, and plunged his sword deep in the Boone's throat. "Hold your tongue, Boone. You're finished." He said colder than he'd sounded so far on the voyage. Dogura watched as Blind waited for them to leave. It's not a member of their crew? The mage couldn't even see him... So what is he? Dogura pondered for several moments before turning his gaze to Finnegan, who needed to go down next.

Finnegan tipped the jug of whiskey back as far as it would go, some of it dribbling down the sides of his cheeks. He tossed the bottle at the ground hard, and it shattered on impact. He had a new look in his eye- a look as if he weren't even there anymore. [-15SPL]

[Drunken Unpredictability]- Finnegan speeds up his movement speed, and strikes from unpredictable angles, and turns his dodges into momentous attacks of great strength. Finnegan gets +5 to AGI and +3 to STR for three turns.

He leaned backwards and narrowly avoided a Garo-Ninja, which had sailed just above his chest. He brought his sword down on the creature hard, nailing it hard. [Dual Wield L3] [Garo-Ninja #1 -28HP]

Attempting to avenge its comrade, another Garo followed closely behind the first, and aimed for the man's chest. Finnegan wobbled awkwardly to the right, barely avoiding the blade, and striking back with just as much ferocity. [Garo-Ninja -14HP]

He turned around twice, before stumbling quickly towards Thealter, who was on the path to attack him. He tripped, avoiding Thealter's blade, and fell forward, springing forward on his hands and locking his legs over Thealter's shoulders and around his neck. Using the forward momentum, he rose up and pushed forward pinning the masked marauder to the ground and slamming the man in the face with the hilt of his sword. [Thealter -11HP]

Finnegan leaned forward and with one hand propelled himself off of the thieve's body and back into the fray. He was a drunken killing machine- this technique undoubtedly what got him a spot in the crew. Dogura grew nervous watching the drunkard cut his way through multiple opponents without so much as a scratch. The samurai fought based on predictions of what his opponent would do next- how could he predict what Finnegan was going to do next when the drunkard himself didn't even know what he was gonna do next?

Sakiko's spell created a chill in the air that caught everyone off guard- everyone except for the remaining enemies that is. Finnegan was already the most un-aware confused person on the island, and Oaken was incredibly resistant to magic. Brick, on the other hand, either didn't feel it, or didn't care. [Finnegan Full Resist], [Oaken Full Resist], [Brick -17HP & Confused] Brick was pretty pissed about the spell however, and charged full speed right towards the mage. He swung his hammer with all of his might down upon her- or it would have been, had Saber not bravely stood in the way. Brick's hammer came around like a five ton baseball bat, and knocked the mercenary right out of the park. [Saber -15HP]

Now, Teal was on the warpath directly towards brick. Oaken attempted a swipe at the young boy, but missed entirely. Teal was just too fast for the Deku, and swung his ax beautifully cleaving the Goliath man's insides into mush. Brick, the Unbreakable fell to the ground in a heap, broken as never before. Blind meandered across the battlefield, still munching on Boone's soul, and began to harvest Brick's soul, almost as if it didn't care about anything else that was happening. He looked up at Teal, and once more pushed an index finger to his lips. Nobody had been this close to the man yet. His stitching was coming lose at the corners of his mouth, and what looked to be a picture of an eye was engraved on his blindfold. His teeth were sharp, or at least what could be seen of them. He plundered Brick's body, and removed the precious soul he'd sought after. He slowly engulfed it, and began making his way back across the field.

Oaken was hopping mad now. Most of his crew had been killed, and he wasn't about to give up and run away. He targeted Leth, whom he was most likely to kill due to the man's current medical condition. He rushed towards the archer, angered that the man had defied death. However three Garo-Ninja's appeared directly in front of the Deku. Morgoth stood on the other side of the field, silently giving them commands to protect both Leth and Sakiko at all costs. Their eyes glowed with intensity as they dared the little creature to make another move. Oaken held his sword tightly, deciding on the best course of action. He slowly backed down, and decided to pick a new target...

The wordmancing scribe turned to the necromancer. "You're welcome," he said back, basely. Then he noticed what Morgoth too noticed. Boone, easily the smartest person with the highest magical awareness on their team, didn't even notice the blindfolded one. This was bad, this was very bad, and to those that did notice him on Taint's crew, he mischievously held up his index finger to his mouth as to tell them to remain silent. This figure was highly unnatural. But, he could use this to his advantage. Instead of having four warriors out of nine left, they now only had three out of eight by their count.

Then Orpheous noticed Thealter's fall at the hands of the drunken Finnegan. He looked back to Morgoth. "Hey, I saw you revive Leth back there, you did a really good job. I was wondering if you could give my masked friend a similar treatment when you get the chance. Yes, he can be a little self-centered at times, or obsessed over infatuation. Yet, I have a feeling his talents could be of use one more during this fight, especially if that blindfolded guy is a bad as we both think he is," he shared in a hushed tone.

Then he faced the remaining 'three' pirates. "Good morning, my hostile adversaries. I say to you now, lay down your weapons. Surrender, and you will be spared. Your numbers have dwindled from eight to three, and you've lost over half of your crew. We cannot give you your ship back, but if its compensation you seek, I can personally pay for the debt of this fine vessel. I know you don't want it back, because you tried to burn it not less than an hour ago. See reason, if you continue fighting, you will lose, and perhaps some of you will die," he spoke firmly, projecting his golden voice amongst his audience. Even if they chose not to surrender, which he knew they would not, this would weaken them, after all, Orpheous was a master at speaking and rhetoric [Rhetoric on Pirates][-12 SPL].

"You're right. This'll be over soon enough," Arrika replied. She smirked coldly when Hannah coughed, reacting to the poison. "Ah. Figured it out yet? That's Foxglove extract, with a dash of Monkshood thrown in for fun." Ordinary poisonous plants hadn't be used to create this toxin either, which would be easily fatal on their own. No, this mixture had been concocted with Rhyss' private garden, and the mage had bred the plants in such a way that it sped up the harmful effects to a terrifying degree.

Out of the corner of her eye she saw Thea fall, and her heart skipped a beat.

"Here's what you've got to look forward to in the next few minutes: irregular hearbeat, confusion; burning, tingling, and numbing of the mouth; then finally, death by asphyxiation, if you don't cough up your insides first," she continued, even as Hannah Stealthed away, as if reciting the words would make her forget everything that was happening outside of the Dome.

She couldn't hurt Hannah while she was invisible, so she closed her eyes and simply listened. [Dodge Check]

OoC: I totally meant to post this Tuesday, but my mom forced me off the computer before I had enough time to put it up. Then Wednesday I had church right after Romeo and Juliet rehearsal, so I didn’t have time then either… I’m probably only going to be able to get on once a day, maybe even once every other day. I hope this isn’t too much of an inconvenience to you guys.

Anyway, here is my original post that I intended to post two days ago:

OoC: Oh great. How am I supposed to RP his death? This calls for some creative thinking… and a request to RG for exceptional health XD

IC: After several long moments, Leth decided his attack had not hit home, since he felt no short, sudden wave of cold that usually came after one of his ice arrows landed. He stopped moving and looked back at the scene of the battle. Nope, his arrow had missed. Leth felt a brief moment of disappointment, but it was short lived as he also noticed that, though his target was not frozen, he was dead. After a quick scan of the field, he noticed that captain was dead as well. Suddenly, he heard the large one call out,
Zelda Veteran wrote:"TAKE COVER!! BOONE'S PISSED!"
Leth suddenly stood transfixed by the spectacle that took place within the next few moments. He tried to outrun the vicious water-dragon that pursued him, but it was in vain. As the attack landed, he felt a searing pain he had never felt before, like he was being burnt with cold. Suddenly it stopped.

Not just it. Everything stopped.

Leth opened his eyes slowly. He couldn't tell where he was. Everything around him was black, as if he hadn't opened his eyes. The only reason he could tell he had was because he could see himself. Which was strange, considering there was no light source that he could see. Or... was there? Leth squinted ahead of him, and noticed that the world was gradually fading out of black and into the normal. He could vaguely see the fuzzy outlines of everyone fighting. He waited for the image to clear more, but it didn't. He looked around him. Something was wrong.

"What are you doing here, traveler?"

Leth jumped at the voice behind him. Spinning around, he saw a stunningly beautiful woman standing behind him, with long red hair, gorgeous brownish-red eyes, a pinkish-red dress and large golden bracelets. She had an overpowering feel to her, as if she were something more than human.

"I, uh... I don't know, really. Would you mind telling me who you are, and where I am?"
"Thats a rather straightforward way to address a Goddess, don't you think?
Leth was stunned.
"A... a Goddess? Then you must be-" He gasped and immediately knelt before her.
"I apologize for my rude manners, M'lady." Din laughed.
"Don't worry, child, you didn't know. We don't exactly stop down in the human world very often. It seems when we do, we always run into trouble." She mused.
Leth's mind was racing. Where was he exactly? To see a Goddess... he must be...
"Am I... dead?" He thought out loud.
"Yes, but not in the way you would think. You have passed on from the realm of the living, but not into the realm of the dead. You are in the realm of judgment, where all who die wait to be judged."
The color drained from Leth's face as he stood.
"I... I see..."
Again, the radiant Goddess laughed.
"Don't worry, your time has not yet come. You still have much work left to do in that realm."
"What? But I-"
"Hush child. You cannot stay here much longer, and I have something to deliver to you."
Din gestured with her arm, and before Leth appeared a man, whose face was obscured with darkness.
"Leth..." The man said. If Leth could have sworn the man was smiling, but it was difficult to tell through the dark mist surrounding him.
"...yes?" Leth ventured.
"It is... so good to see you again. There is so much I want to say to you, but I don't have enough time. I only wanted to say... I am very proud of you. Keep fighting the good fight, and don't let up... just like me... like father, like son."
At those words, Leth's mind went reeling. Was this man his father? It couldn't be, his father was alive and well in Rauru town! What was going on?

The figure started to disappear.

"Wait! Who are you?" He called out desperately. But the figure was gone.
"He is gone, and your questions are not mine to answer. Seek them for yourself, and always pursue the light. Know this, though: His darkness is unhappiness. If you want to ease his suffering, avenge his death. Then he can find peace."

"What? Who- I don't-" Leth was having trouble finding words to say.

"Your time here is expired, brave warrior. Return to your battle, and help your comrades."
With that, Din faded away, and the world around Leth came sharply into focus.

He found himself laying on the ground, with sharp pain wracking his body. He was alive, somehow. A million questions swilred through his mind, but he forced himself to quiet them down and remember the situation at hand. He had a battle to finish. Leth took a moment to assess himself. He didn't see any wounds, but the pain lingered and he found it difficult to move. He looked up and took stock of what had happened in the battle. Every one of the pirates was dead, save for the drunk, the deku, and the girl. He didn't see her, but he also didn't see her corpse anywhere, so he assumed she was still alive, but hidden. Which was not a good thing.

Of more importance to him at that moment, though, was the deku. The little wooden creature appeared to be making a beeline for Leth, which was not a good thing. Given his current condition, he was unsure he'd be in any sort of shape to fight anyone, much less dodge the attacks of the wily little deku. He gripped his bow tightly and forced himself to stand, only to see that he was now surrounded by three Garo ninjas. His first instinct was to shoot them, but then he realized that they were, in fact, guarding him. That was a first. They must have been summoned by that Morgoth fellow. In any case, the sight of the three ninjas discouraged the deku enough that he changed course and headed off elsewhere, giving Leth a great feeling of relief. He looked around. The Drunk Pirate appeared to be wreaking havoc en masse upon his comrades. Leth decided to target that one, on a whim that the garo's would guard him from any retaliation. He knew he was taking a huge gamble, but Din's promise of a future echoed in his ears, making him bold.

My time has not yet come.

So thinking, he drew an arrow from his quiver- and not just any arrow. It was a very special arrow, one of five that he kept reserved only for emergencies.
Ranger's Missiles - Special, finely pointed arrows made of an incredibly tough metal. They are very difficult to make, but once successfully crafted, they are able to pierce through any enemy's defenses. Leth has five of them.
Effect: Ignores enemy's defense rating. Each arrow can only be used once per battle. Base damage 10.
He knocked the arrow to the string of his bow and aimed it at the drunk.

"Time to sober up." He whispered, and released the arrow.

OoC: Woot longest post I've ever made!

Alpha watched Sakiko's spell come to life, only hitting one of the targets but seeming to have a strong effect on him. He nodded to her before he rushed off back to Yukie. The mage had been taken care of, it seemed, and the Sheikah felt a weight depart from his shoulders at that realization. The other crew members were no doubt still powerful . . . but without Boone's magic spells they could form a united front against the remaining pirates and slowly whittle them down.

"Only four left," Alpha muttered to Yukie as he turned to face their foes once more.

"Dunno about that, Alpha," the Deku muttered softly, drawing an arched eyebrow from his companion. "That there blindfolded boy . . . I dunno which side he's with. Don't seem ta be with the pirates, though -- until he was dyin', doesn't seem that the spellcaster could even see 'im!" Alpha took another long look at Blind, eyes narrowing. "I say we not provoke 'im, fer now at least. Don't wanna know what he'll do in response . . ."

"Right . . ." Alpha whispered back in the same quiet tones. "Wait for the others to be gone, then if he turns hostile we can all work against him." The Deku nodded, but there was some hesitation -- Alpha felt it as well. Whatever Blind was doing . . . it was far too eerie and unnatural. For all they knew he was only empowering himself before striking -- it might be better to attack him now before all the pirates' . . . souls? . . . were consumed by him.

Well . . . either way posed a threat, and either way resulted in them having to take care of the other pirates. Might as well finish those foes off now. "Very well then. I'm going for that Deku."

"Have fun with 'im," his ally replied, eyeing the rampaging drunk. "I got me a target of my own."

They shot out in tandem, each heading straight for their chosen foes. Bringing Brenyuu up, Alpha danced around the small Deku and began searching for an opening. It wasn't easy; the wooden race had always been quick on their feet, some able to even match Sheikah speed. But after a few moments, he spotted an opening -- hoping it wasn't a trick, he dove in and swung Brenyuu for a hard whack at that bark head --

[[Staff Brenyuu -- Oaken the Explosive]]

Yukie charged at the Drunken Hurricane, studying Finnegan's impressive speed and strength -- he would have to time it perfectly in order to hit the man with his swords. Apparently, this did not appeal to him . . . so he dropped back, sheathed his blades, and inhaled a mighty breath. Focusing the magic in his body into one massive blast, he spat out an enormous fireball that shot straight towards the man!

Well, that was disappointing. Sakiko frowned; she was already out of magic, and now she would have to resort to her slingshot. She was about to take it out from the pocket of her robes, when she saw Brick charging at her with fury burning in his eyes. She prepared to dodge, not really looking forward to the feel of the massive hammer if it came her way …

No, worse. She saw with horror as Saber took the blow for her, and immediately crumbled to the ground – unconscious. Sakiko screamed his name, rushing toward the mercenary and feeling for his pulse. He wasn’t dead…thank the goddesses. She wished that she hadn’t used her magic so unwisely – she should have saved some should a moment like this occur. The mage placed her cold hands on his cheeks, so full of gratitude but hating herself for being so helpless. She promised herself that she would repay this one way or another. Sakiko tried to drag his body somewhere safe, but she was too weak. She felt hopelessness sink into her, and she suddenly felt so insignificant, weak…

As she looked around her, she saw that there were still four – and ugh! What was that Blind guy doing? She almost threw up, just watching him – it was strange. Every attack that was administered, he had survived it without a scratch. Sakiko wondered if he was crazy-strong, or just plain lucky. While surveying the battle ground, the mage saw Alpha give her a quick nod. She watched him as he ran with his mysterious staff, still so full of energy and charisma. Just seeing him gave her strength – she couldn’t just sit here, and do nothing. Morgoth’s Garo-Ninjas were also a tremendous help. With them around, she felt safer, considering her weak states. Sakiko knelt beside the unconscious Saber, making sure that no one stepped on him or anything like that. She took out her slingshot, and grabbed a metallic looking object rolling about. It was small enough, it was heavy enough – at this point, she wasn’t really picky. Closing one eye, Sakiko aimed the slingshot right at Oaken. Level 2 Slingshot at Oaken She was doubtful of the effect it would have, considering Oaken was a Deku, but it was worth a shot. Finnegan seemed to be covered by Leth and Yukie, and she couldn't see where that other pirate girl was. She knew that Alpha had him in check, but just to make sure… Sakiko released the target carefully, her arm outstretched.

OOC: Leth, I never got a chance to congratulate you on that long post of yours! That's some fine work there, possibly the best post I've seen out of you! Seriously, nice job! :)

Hannah moved her invisible body behind Arrika, stifling the pain of the poison as she went. Damn... She got me. I won't live unless I can get out of here. I'm gonna have to let down the barrier and let Corvass know that I'm gonna make a run for it. They should be able to handle these weaklings without me... She slowly approached Arrika from behind, and in the blink of an eye, she had the thief around the throat with a garrote. She suddenly re-appeared, but it was too late for Arrika to do anything. Hannah squeezed tighter and tighter, until she was sure no air was getting to her opponents' lungs. She kept on her until the woman stopped moving.

[Choke Successful - Arrika removed from combat for 3 rounds]

Hannah let her victim slump to the ground, and let down the barrier. "Captain! I'm going back to the ship. I need-" She stopped short and looked around at the bodies. She rubbed her eyes as she continued her survey of the scene. I-Impossible! How could these worms?! Harley she could understand... But Boone? Pierce? Captain? And even Brick, the Unbreakable. How could this have happened? They were just weaklings! She thought frantically, realizing that only Oaken and Finnegan remained. She took a few steps back in shock of the whole situation. Her mind told her to run, but her legs wouldn't move. She looked back down at the unconscious Arrika... I underestimated this one too... She winced in pain as she looked back to the scene. What do I do now?
[Hannah -3HP]

Orpheous' words sink into the remaining enemies, and even though they didn't show it, they heard it well enough. Morgoth decided that he owed everyone here at least one resurrection. He knelt down next to Thealter, and let the magic take the man over. "You're not done yet, young masked one." He whispered as the life was breathed back into Thealter's bones. [Resurrection L2] Morgoth stood up and breathed heavily. He was feeling quite worn out, and his magic was running low as well. This old body of mine... It won't be long... *huff* *puff*... Before I part from it. He coughed up blood into his hands, and took a knee. It won't be much longer though... He looked up to notice that the dark barrier from earlier had vanished... And out of it emerged Hannah. "Oh-no... Not the girl... She was so young..." He muttered as he stood back up. I'll resurrect her too... Even if it drains me of the last of my magic." He coughed, as he began walking towards her. Suddenly, however, he noticed something. She was breathing. He squinted his eyes from across the battlefield, and could make out red marks on her neck. She had just been choked, probably by a rope. Oh good... She's been spared, for whatever reason. He thought smiling. He looked to Saber as well, who'd also fallen. "There's too much... I can't do it all... I'm sorry." He whimpered to nobody in particular.

Finnegan weaved in and out of his enemies, not even coming close to being touched. Dogura watched carefully looking for a moment to strike- but there wasn't one. As he watched, Taint appeared next to him. "This is why they call him the Drunken Hurricane." He said to the samurai. Dogura continued watching closely. No openings whatsoever. "Is this... Is this a fighting style he created?" Taint pushed his sword into the dirt, and placed his shield on top of it before kneeling down to inspect his body for injuries. "Yeah, it is. It's nearly impossible to break through by physical means." Dogura nodded in agreement. "It's solid. I've never seen anything like it." Taint stood back up and picked his shield back up off of his sword. "We're best off trying to attack Oaken, the Deku at this point." Just as he spoke those words, an arrow whistled through the air and struck Finnegan dead on, embedding itself deep into his right shoulder. Both Dogura and Taint's heads turned to Leth, who was back on his feet and, now making critical progress towards slowing Finnegan down. [Finnegan -12HP]

"Atta boy!" Taint called out happily, as he pulled his sword out of the ground in a dash towards the drunkard. He swung his sword at the man, only to have it blocked completely. They clashed a few more times before Taint retreated. Despite the critical wound, there was still no slowing him down. Or at least as far as physical means went. Finnegan chased after the retreating Zora, only to find himself engulfed in Yukie's inferno. He cried out in pain, quickly sobering up after two painful shots. Taint nodded to Yukie in thanks. "Thanks for having my back, there!" He called out, realizing that he could have suffered a severe blow from the drunk. When the flames stopped, Finnegan stood still, charred completely. His skin had blackened, and was falling off of him little by little. His eyes held no life left in them, as he fell forward onto his sword, which skewered him further. Taint watched as the man died, a tear coming from his eye. Dogura noticed this immediately and suddenly remembered that Taint had known these people. "Finnegan... You were one of the only people I called friend. Why did you have to listen to Corvass?..." He spoke allowed, tears now streaming.

The Zora flashed back to when he decided to leave the crew...

* * *

"Fin... They all listened to Corvass... All of them, they made Cap'n walk the plank. How come you didn't stop them?"

Finnegan took a swig of his liquor and looked somberly out the window. "What could oi 'ave doon? It wasn't moi decision..."

Crowjack shook his head. "Not good enough... They all liked you. You could have talked some sense into them!"

Finnegan let a tear roll down his cheek. "Don't meek this harder fer me than it already is..." He cried silently, mourning the loss of his beloved captain.

Crowjack closed his eyes. "I'm leaving the crew. As soon as we hit land I'm leaving. You're welcome to come along." Finnegan looked at him for a few seconds before responding.

"Oi aint got a penny to me name... The crew pays fer the good drink... It's the only loov oi got left since Meena doid... Besides, how are ya gonna live, Crowjack? Yer broke too!"

Crowjack looked at the floor in silence. "I'll find a way. I'll carve my own path. I'll survive, believe you me. But I won't live on a boat with the same guy that killed the closest thing I had to a father..."

Finnegan tipped his bottle back, finishing it off. "Oi wish ya the best ov look Crowjack... May Faroor follow ya always..." He smiled, and shook hands with the Zora.

Crowjack packed what little he had, along with a little food. He heaped the sack over his back, and nodded at Finnegan. "I hope we meet again someday... You're one of the only friends I've ever had. I'll miss ya." He noted before he heard Brick call from above, "LAAAANNNNND. EVERYONE OFF THE BOAT!!"

* * *

Tears strolled silently down the Zora's face in full force. I wanted to see you again, Fin... Just not like this... He gritted his teeth to keep from making a peep. He closed his eyes and turned away. Dogura watched solemnly. He knew what the boy was going through, and he knew it well. "I'm sorry, Tai-... Captain." Dogura corrected himself. Taint waved the samurai onward. "Don't worry about me." He sniffled, and turned to face the last Oaken. "Let's keep fighting." He said. It's all he could think to say.

Oaken swiftly dodged an incoming Garo-Ninja, and struck back, also missing. He easily avoided the next two that took a slash at him, and hopped backwards. He heard a whistling sound behind him, and turned to see a round object headed his direction. He side stepped the projectile, and his eyes set on the source: Sakiko. "Is that all you-" That's all he could say before a staff came crashing down on his little Deku noggin. He cried out and rolled away from Alpha, gripping the top of his head. [Oaken -10HP] [Alpha's Leadership wore off]

His eyes narrowed at the mage, and he leaped towards the man, swinging his large sword with all his might. Be some miracle, he barely managed to connect with his enemy, his sword cutting Alpha deep for serious damage. [Alpha -20HP] Oaken landed, satisfied with his revenge on Alpha. "Maybe you'll think twice next time you-" Once again, his taunt would go unfinished as Dogura's sword came slicing through his abdominal region. The little powerhouse screamed in pain, and quickly hopped away from the samurai. Dogura smirked at the creature. "Maybe you'll think twice before you gloat." Ironic echoes were one of Dogura's favorite lines. Oaken was feeling quite winded. The Deku was really close to collapsing entirely.[Oaken -16HP]

The fight had been going moderately well so far. All that remained were Oaken, and Hannah. Then there was Blind, who slowly crept across the field to gorge itself on Finnegan's soul. He repeated the maneuver, pulling the glowing orb out and wrapping his tongue around it before pulling it deep within him. Taint watched the creature perform the grim harvest yet again. He was getting increasingly worried about the creature- (he wasn't even sure if it was a man anymore). Dogura's eyes moved to Saber's unconscious body. I hope he's alright... He thought, wincing at the thought of taking a head on hit from that mammoth of a man. Defending Sakiko... You're a good man, Sabertache.
