IC: Alex looked at the new room; nothing dangerous...
"I'll let you decide this time, looks like I am no good at opening doors" he said, hoping that his little joke would cheer everyone a little

Blank wandered ahead of the group as he stepped into the new, ovular chamber. He was not impressed with this room, nor any of the rooms in this base. All he wanted was to find Alpha and get out as quickly as possible. The door ahead of the party seemed to be the obvious choice, but the nomad recalled being attacked by the Hakiems when last he ventured on that notion.

"Well, we've pretty much been taking side doors the entire time. Why stop now?" Inquisitively, the Hylian sheathed his sword and approached the leftmost door, attempting to open it and peek inside quietly in the usual manner.

Tayro is healed to full health. His Awareness Check fails, however (6+6[Roll+INT] vs. 15). Glancing around, the Hylian spots nothing out of the ordinary. Just white walls, white ceilings, white floors, and two wooden doors.

Tayro: 23 HP, 0 SPL

Inside the next room is a short hallway that leads to another room. However, it seems that Blank has now hit the jackpot. Shelves liter the back wall, filled with more hearts and magic jars than you can count. This is enough to recover every ounce of energy that has been lost during the dangerous trek ten times over.

The right wall has nothing, but on the left side are two lit torches, burning with a ferocity that is surprising...almost magical.

OOC: Ok, I'm back yet again. Really sorry... But what did I miss?

As Blank opens the side door, Arco stumbles his way to the door straight across and carefully places his ear on it, trying to see if he can hear anything. After all, even if the coast was clear for the side door, they'd still have to check this one...

After listening for a moment, he stepped back quickly, his childhood nightmare of people opening doors onto you as you eavesdropped echoing in his mind.

"Nope... nothing seems to be out of the ordinary."-he says, as he steps into the room.
Spotting Blank examining the side door, Tayro observes the front door.

Step by step, the Hylian proceeds with caution, still wary of any strange movements inside the egg-shaped room. {Awareness Check again}
Approaching the other side, he spots Arco getting ahead of him. He then tries to do something out of the ordinary - he attemts to touch the wall exactly oposed to where the side door is, between the two torches.

OOC:Wow, Alpha's got 999 rupees, you're like a hyrulean bill gates, you shuld but a bigger walllet
IC: Alex stayed as calmed as he could, 'Any mistake now could take us away from finding Alpha' he thought
"I've been thinking, what if the hakiems are leading just the way they want us to go?"
He waited for everyone to think about it...

OOC: Alex, I purchased the bigger wallet months ago. I got my money back almost instantly from the post itself.

IC:
Arco doesn't hear anything behind the door for several seconds...then a soft rumble can be felt. It lasts only a split second, but it must have been from something over there...

Tayro's second attempt is much more successful (14+6[Roll+INT] vs. 15). Now that he is closer to the doors, he can see several crimson marks on the floor near the door opposite their entryway. He can't tell for certain, but it sure looks like blood.

Blank jumps in surprise at the wealth of replenishing goods lining the shelves of the chamber. "Jackpot!" he shouted, running eagerly towards the stockpile of health and magic items. Of course, the grim realization hit him, and a low sigh escaped his lips. He poked his head out of the room, glaring at the rest of the party. "Or at least, it is for some of you. I myself haven't been injured, and I sure haven't used an abilities."

The disappointed nomad eyed the torches. Mystical, he thought. He took one from off the wall and gazed into the fire, then brought it back to the plain chamber to show Shada, whom he had dubbed the leader of the group. "Look at this... Think there's anything special about it? It just seemed so... intriguing..."

Eww... that's disgusting.

Seeing the contents of the side room were quite more dazzling, the boy approached the room, and grabbed four Large Magic Jars. Not waiting for the others, he drank the liquid in one of the green jars, and stashed the others for a later use.
"Hmmm... it tastes good!"

Now approaching the left wall, the boy examined the white toned blockade, and attempted to touch and press against it between the two torches that were burning there.
These torches can only mean one thing - a pathway!

Alex looked at blood for a while, he really didn't know what to think about it
"Blood dries very quick, so it's hard to tell if it has been here for long, but if I had to guess, I would say it's somehow still fresh"

Arco steps back into the center of the room, and stares at the door he'd been examining a moment earlier.

That's probably not going to open into another empty, white room...

He then glances at his party mates and hopes they're being careful...

Shada glares into the fire, and slowly nods. "It looks like a magical flame. It'd take some strong magic - more powerful than my Burst attack, to be sure - in order to put it out." She shrugs. "You might as well put it back, Blank."

Blank shrugged and put the torch back in its place, and exited the chamber in which it belonged. He stepped up beside Arco, and nodded. "We've come this far; there's no point in stopping now. We have to find Alpha." The nomad knew that there was probably a terrible monster behind the door, waiting for them, waiting for prey and a good meal. Blank had no intention to become said dinner, but he knew that whatever lay beyond the door would need to be destroyed. "Typical dungeon with your sub-bosses and dingy cells and your traps..." he mumbled, clearly not amused with the Hakiems idea of a base. "Really now, what kind of person would want all of these trivial rooms in their headquarters?" The Hylian stepped forward, placing his hand on the door, ready to open it should Shada agree with the notion of continuing.
