OOC: Um, yeah, guard 4 is dead, so let's just say Seven is attacking number 6.

IC:
Xokorn missed once again [7 (roll) + 4 (AGI) < 19 (DEF)], a combination of poor fighting skills and the wild staggering of the screaming guard. Said screaming guard's wild staggering took him into Douglas's fist [18 (roll) + 2 (AGI) > 19 (DEF); 8 DMG dealt], giving the grunt his first hit for the battle. His retaliatory strike once again struck his ally [96%=hit person; 94%=hit ally instead of enemy; 7 DMG dealt].

Seven closed in on the guard that the blind human had accidentally attacked. His talons dug into the man's skin, but not his eye [19 (roll) + 12 (AGI) > 19 (DEF); 33%=not blinded; 12 DMG dealt]. The return strike cut into the falcon's skin again [17 (roll) + 3 > 13 (DEF); 7 DMG dealt], but again it is merely a scratch and Seven can still fly.

Marisa still wished to leave the blinded guard alone, so she aimed for the fifth guard to distract him from Natasha. The Sheikah's skill showed again with Neor'cer Gahc, killing the guard [16 (roll) + 8 (AGI) > 19 (DEF); 14 DMG dealt]. This left the faerie free to make a decision. She sensed that more guards would come soon, and five guards did not sound like a desirable number to fight against if two of their number had a hard time hitting their foes. So she once again summoned a ball of light and threw it at the sixth guard, who was unable to resist [13 (roll) + 1 (SPI) < 20, spell not resisted; 26 damage dealt]. The magic was too much for the human, and he dropped to the ground, bleeding to death.

IC: Xokorn knew these guards meant business; his deadly staff once again hit nothing but thin air. Definitely not an ego stroker for him. However, he still wasn't going to hold back and do absolutely nothing to help the team.

He went at the last guard with full force, his staff once again in the air to make another deadly swipe at the guard. All the swinging has been making his arms a little sore, though, so his attack would certainly be easier to dodge. (OOC: Hooray for excuses! ) He hoped with all his might that maybe, just maybe, the guard's blindness would once again be used to his own disadvantage.

Douglas smiled, having actually hit someone, instead of the night air. He punched the air in triumph. then turned to look at the last guard. He had no reason to hit such a weak foe, so, with a nod of his head, he gestured for Seven to finish off the last guard.

Seven, looking over at his ally, screeched in acknowledgement, flying to land on the blind guard's head, and peck at him. [[Peck]] Guard #2

Xokorn missed again, although this was due more to the fact that Seven had beat him there and pecked the man to death.

The door once again burst open, but this time it was Xokomar who came out, carrying a walking stick. "So, you were able to survive my mercenaries," he said, sounding slightly impressed. "They were the best Hyrule had to offer."

Marisa laughed, a rarity for her. "They were the best?" she asked, rare amusement in her voice. "They were hack jobs. I fought people with more skill than all three of them combined. As a mercenary for the Hylian Knights, I highly suggest you allow Hyneria guardianship of her child and that you turn yourself in for rape."

The corpulent Sheikah pretended to think about it. "No, a man of my stature does not belong in jail. And besides, what proof do you have to offer? You have nothing. Now then, how about you be a good girl and die."

Xokomar swung the walking stick, but his daughter easily ducked beneath it. From her crouching position, she lunged forward, easily impaling his leg and causing him to scream in pain, a feeling that was unknown to him.

OOC: I know I said three waves, but I'm ready to get this over with. And if you guys don't manage to hit him, I'm going to laugh.

OOC: Oh, I think Xokorn's getting a hit, alright. Just watch.

IC: Xokorn watched as Xokomar walked out of his manor. Look at him, walking as if he's SO important. HA! He hardly knew the man, and he already hated his guts--and that was probably the reason why he wanted so dearly to beat them into pieces.

Marisa did an excellent job dodging her accursed father's attack, but she was but all the more graceful with retaliating; it left Xokomar's attention on his leg and not the other warriors, thus leaving a window of opportunity wide open. All of a sudden, Xokorn felt spirit inside him...it was like magic power, only much more uplifting. It manifested itself in a sudden urge to do one thing: kill that Sheikah. He rushed toward the man with his staff held high in the air, dust kicking up from under his feet. "Shadelm'dech omanra!!!!" was all that came from his throat before the staff came swung toward the man like a wrecking ball. [Willpower usage=6]

Looking at Xokomar for the first time, Douglas waited, trying to see what the man would do. Suprised at the move that both Xokorn and Marisa pulled, he decided to join the fray as well. [[Unarmed Combat LV1]]

Seven followed as well, flying high so that he could attack the man. With a sharp dive, he shot down at the man. [[Falcon Flyer]]

Both men's attacks smack into Xokomar, dropping him to his knees, and then to his face. As he groaned in pain, Hyneria exited the house, carring a small, purple-haired boy in her scratched up arms. On her left cheek is a cut, but it didn't stop her from saying, "I have a friend that's a lieutenant. He's all I need to put you into jail." She looked over to Natasha. "If you don't mind, please go get Seth."

The mid-faerie nodded. "Let me heal you first," she replied. Once she was done casting her healing spell, the cleric was off.

Marisa sheathed walked over to Hyneria, keeping an eye on their father, who was still moaning. "So this is Kantoro, huh?" she said, glancing at the sleeping boy.

"Yeah," Hyneria replied. "This is my son."

"Are you sure your friend can help you?"

The thief nodded. "I'm positive." She looked over to Xokorn and Douglas. "Thank you for your help. If you have somewhere to be, go ahead and go. I shouldn't need you at this scumbag's trial." She kicked Xokomar in the ribs. "If you ever need me for something, you can probably find me in North Castle, at least for a while. I have some things to take care of in North Hyrule, and then I'm off to Saria Town in South Hyrule. Maybe Mido Town."

In the child's sleep, Kantoro gripped Hyneria's sleeve tighter. She gave her son a kiss on the forehead. "Don't you worry," she said in Sheikah. "You'll get to know a better life growing up than I did."

OOC: And we're done here! Now for a narrative post in North Castle to finish this part of the story up until Fighting Fate is done with and (hopefully) South Hyrule is opened.

Also, I'm going to assume that was Nathael. In the future, try to use your own account. If it is Worru, I ask that Nathael uses her own account to post. Either way, if this happens again, I will ask Draug to delete it and that the reply be reposted.

Xokorn felt his staff hit the man with incredible force. All he heard from the man was a great moan and a fall to the ground. "Take that, bandûla," Xokorn said as he got out of the offensive position. Not long after, he heard the pitter-patter of feet coming from the mansion. Hyneria did it! She got Kantoro back!

He looked at her son deeply, then with somewhat-watery eyes. He seemed to bear a striking resemblance to a child friend he once had. The hair and the face was a giveaway. But alas, it was a long time ago. There would be no way now for him and his friend to be reunited.

"I pray that your son does have the life you wish for him. If you have any more need of help, I can help you. Douglas, you indeed have skills. I'd like to see how far they'll take you. The same goes for Seven.

"As for you," he turned to Marisa, "...It was a pleasure meeting your sharp tongue." He said the last words as if he were trying to egg her on, but he turned around and left the group before she could do anything about it.
