Rose's dagger nails the sixth tentacle (13+3[Roll+AGI]), dealing 7 DMG. Shada follows up with her own strike, but the tentacle whacks her away before any damage can be dealt (2+7[Roll+AGI]).

Dogura's attack doesn't fare any better (3+6[Roll+AGI]), as the tentacle moves out of the way before the Hylian can hit.

Rose dashes forward again, performing a perfect upslash at the remaining tentacle.

OOC: You guys are barbaric! I leave for dinner and you advance so much?!

IC:
Tayro was doing his best effort in taking the nasty goop out of him. It really wasn't nice-looking.
This is absolutely disgusting.
One good thing this did, though, as it woke up Tayro from his state of shock.
Now looking at the intrepid kalamari, the boy keeps staringat how big it is.
C'mon! Snap out of it!
Slapping his face, the scholar seems to be fully aware now. Moving near the beast, he grinned at his inward thought.
The bigger they are, the harder they fall!

Getting a hold of his Deku Staff, the boy enters a state of focus, in which his mind and spirit are one. Chanting things in an unknown language, the boy summons a rune before him. As soon as the magical emblem is fully formed, the boy aims at the creature's head, and hits the rune with his staff.
"Elemental Burst!!"-he yells.
This contact unleashes a magical orb, which seems to fly at a high speed against its intended target, containin the power of an element.
Well, if it doesn't hit it, at least it will do some major damage on a tentacle!

Dogura, still sickened by the thought of one of those tenticles crashing down over his head, leaps back, and watches the others go to work. The vagabond knew exactly what poison had felt like, and felt terrible for Blank's current situation. He decided to try to shoot the monster from a distance with an arrow. He pulled back his bowstring, preparing to strike it, but then lowered his bow. He decided to wait until he had a clearer shot at the monster before giving away his position. Thoughts rushed through his head, faster than before, as he telepathicly communicated with everyone. "Perhaps we have some type advantage over the beast. Seeing as it dwells in water, an electric strike would do the trick. Does anyone know a shockingly powerful spell?" He nearly slapped himself out of the lameness of his own joke.

Cloud gets up and looks at the monstrosity. He was near death and ready to collapse.

I...I...wil not die!

Cloud ran in and attacked with his staff.

Rose's strike looks perfect...at first. But Dyquis withdraws his tentacle so that the dagger only slices through air. (4+3[Roll+AGI])

Blank loses another 2 HP to poison.

Dyquis turns to Rose, fixing both crimson eyes on the woman. It seems that attacking the most has its drawbacks. Revealing its mouth yet again, it sprays acid out of its mouth, dealing 5 DMG to everyone and poisoning Rose.

Cloud's attack hits home, however (20+1[Roll+AGI]), dealing 10 DMG and finishing off the final tentacle. It collapses into the water, leaving Dyquis undefended again.

"Thats it!" Dogura shouted, as he aimed his arrow. It made a whooshing sound as it cut through the air at an amazing speed! "Your sacrifixce wont go in vain Rose!"

OOC: You forgot me up there And besides, I think that Tayro's HP should be 13, not 23.

IC:
Seeing Cloud's life energy getting extremely low, Tayro moves out of the battle lines, and getting on his knees, starts to pray.
Please... almighty godesses... aid those in need of you. Aid us, your faithful servants. We shall use such strengh to help our land of Hyrule to be a better place. Please... aid Cloud.
Getting up, he hoped his prayers would be heard.

Now getting completely icky, the boy does all in his power to take the ink out of him and clothes.
"This better come out with water and soap, you hear?!"-he shouts at the oversized kalamari.

OOC: Sorry Tayro, didn't see that. One moment please.

IC:
Tayro's Elemental Burst takes on the element of light, driving into the squid. It is able to resist it somewhat (15+5[Roll+SPI]), but it still deals 6 DMG.

Cloud's arrow jabs deep into one of the boils on Dyquis' head (15+6[Roll+AGI]), dealing 8 DMG.

Dyquis: 51 HP, 10 SPL
Tayro: 13 HP, 6 SPL

OOC: I shall revenge myself on you, Alpha. Naw, I'm not that evil. Or am I? Ahem. Back to IC.

IC:
Rose goes to a wall as quick as she can, feeling ill. She slumps down some distance away from Dyquis. "Come on Cloud and Dogura," she whispers. "Get that damned thing."

Dogura dashed over to rose. She didnt look good at all. She was getting pale, and Dogura knealt down next to her. "Hang in there Rose! We'll end this battle soon." Dogura turned to look at the squid, and turned back to rose. He gaureded her while she was recovering from the recent blow.
OOC: I think ill learn from Rose's mistake, and skip this attack turn.

Cloud started coughing violently, and started to cough up blood. He collapsed to his hands and knees.

I...am going to die... Cloud thought.

Then something amazing happened, as if the goddesses had blessed him, Cloud found the strength to get up.

I...wha?

Cloud was still injured, but maybe he could fight.

If I die, i'm taking you with me!

Cloud mustered the last of his strength, hoping to Nayru that the beast did not attack him. He drew his bow and two arrows out. He lined them both up in his bow, and took aim. Cloud forced the rest of his energy into these 2 arrows. They became two shimmering bolts as the light arrows flew from Cloud's bow. Cloud collapsed onto the floor exausted and dieng.

Well, if I die, atleast it wont be in vain.

Cloud laughed slightly as the last of his conciousness left him.

OOC: Man! You have to admit! That was a good post! Or atleast pretty good for my standards...

OOC: Don't worry. Happens with everyone

IC: "Why you little..."-Tayro mutters, obviously not happy with the small effect from his Elemental Burst.
Not giving up, he grabs his staff, and draws a rune symbol with it in the air. JUst like markers, wherever the staff passes, a glowing light comes out. After his little 'sketch', the boy places his hand in the middle of the archaic symbol.
"Elemental Burst!!"
From his hand, the mythical ball is created, and imbuing the power of the rune, shoots at quite some speed at the squid's head.
This one better come out with efficient results!

OOC: I think you owe me something then, ZV. And stop taking Cloud's job.

IC:
Rose coughs. "You better drag that fool over here," she tells Dogura, pointing to Cloud.

Cloud's arrows don't even come close to Dyquis (5+1[Roll+AGI]). The man's lingering health doesn't help his aim any, it seems. However, Tayro's second Burst, another Light-based attack, hits with full force (5+5[Roll+SPI]), dealing a full 12 DMG.

As the Dyquis' health passes beyond the half-way point, its boils begin to glow. With new strength brought forth by rage, all attacks will now deal an extra 5 DMG. It launches itself up into the air yet again, smashing down this time on Dogura and dealing 17 DMG to the Vagabond.

As the head returns to its original, towering position, Dogura is left in a confused state. For the next two turns, he has a 25% chance of doing nothing, 25% chance of attacking himself, 25% chance of attacking normally, and 25% chance of attacking his friends. And then, as if things weren't bad enough, from beneath the water rise five of the six tentacles, back in action.

Blank and Rose lose 2 HP to their poison.
