Dogura snickered. "Well what do you know..." He said under his breath. "Alright! It seems as though my hunch were correct. If this is so, the next to die will be the Angel of the Goron Ruby!" He called out to his allies. However, the Holybrume, knowing we've discovered it's secret, will be anything but willing to let her child be attacked. Dogura's weels turned. Perhaps one of us should distract the holybrume, while another attacks the next Brume Angel... I'll let things play out first.

The vagabond stood up, and prepared to attack the next Angel. "Alright, here we go!" Dogura cried out, dancing around the Brume Angel. Finally, he leapt in for his attack. Pointing his sword, not directly at the Angel, he tilted it slightly. He held his sword in such a way that it could not be dodged if the anglel moved up or down. (I'm dipping into my WILL pool. Thats +3 to my chance to hit, leaving me with 5 WILL power left)

Alpha cringes as the second Brume Angel smashes against him, releasing his breath with a slight hiss present in the tone. Sooner or later, he will manage to anticipate that Diversion Duo . . . he may not be able dodge it, but at least he could brace himself for the blow. Not that said attacks are terribly damaging, but still.

Looking over as Tayro cries out some sort of confirmation to Dogura - the Sheikah assumes that the Hylian has been utilizing that telepathy again - and then firing off a Shadow Elemental Burst at the Angel that had gone after Dogura rather than Alpha himself. 'What the - what are those two thinking?! We already know they'll just be revived!' But, trusting that his allies wouldn't waste the last of Tayro's magical abilities without some sort of plan, Alpha takes a closer look at the targeted being just before the attack hits, managing to spot a special symbol for the first time: the Spiritual Stone of the Forest, a.k.a. the Kokiri Emerald.

The character is not unfamiliar to the Sheikah; even after splitting up from Master Zaris over seven years ago, the Hakiems had been after him for quite some time. As a result, Alpha had spent much of his free time researching ancient histories and legends, and of course the stories of the Hero of Time came up in multiple sources. His journey to collect the three Spiritual Stones - the Kokiri Emerald, Goron Ruby, and Zora Sapphire - in order to enter the Sacred Realm was one that Alpha had long since memorized. 'Defeat them in a specific order? That might actually work . . .'

And work it does, for rather than fall to the ground the Brume Angel disintegrates. Alpha turns and considers laughing at Holybrume, who appears quite distressed by the loss of its child. But it does not escape his attention when the corresponding Emerald on the Brumes' leader lights up. Is some sort of hidden power being activated when the Brume Angels fall? Regardless, Alpha knows that they won't be able to win unless and until the Angels are gone, so the risk is worth it. One good attack deserves another.

Charging forward, he spots Dogura aiming now for the Angel bearing the symbol of the Goron Ruby, and nods in confirmation. 'Just as the Hero retrieved the Ruby second, so now must we defeat the Ruby Brume second.' He doesn't know whether or not the Hylian can defeat the Brume with a single attack, but he doubts it. And so Alpha also comes straight in for a hit with his Deku Staff on the Brume Angel bearing the Goron Ruby . . . but at an angle that will easily allow him to go for the Sapphire Angel should the Ruby one fall to Dogura.

Whatever way it looked, the Goron's Ruby Brume Angel didn't find the necessary opening to escape. In a futile attempt to dodge, the creature tried floating upwards, but obviously failed miserably, and Dogura's sword easily made contact with it (14+6+3[Roll+AGI+WILL]) managing to cut a bit of its hair, besides the serious scratch on its face, all in a total of 9 damage.

Holybrume just continues there in the corner, with a rather depressed look on her face, gazing at the place where the Kokiri's Emerald Brume Angel vanished. Her eyes seemed void of emotion, as if she wasn't there at all. Although mind-reading was an impossible feat to most people, it wouldn't be hard to percieve that, although her evil demeanor, she was at this moment in quite much pain. Kind of a sight to make the others feel bad for their actions...

And so, it's the First Brume Angel to make its comeback, in a desperate attempt to make amends and take revenge for his brother's death. The annoying grin that the Brume Angels posessed before was now rpelaced by a mouth slightly curved down, showing its rather disappointment and sadness. Seems like that even these minions weren't devoid of emotions, and begins a mad dash against the one who has just attacked him, while he was unexpecting such an early blow - Dogura. However, it seems that not even now he manages to claim payback, as the samurai dodges the attack again quite skillfully (6+4[Roll+AGI]).

The second Brume Angel, witnessing his brother's fall, has but one emotion filled within it - hatred. With a lust for revenge increasing steadily, he eyes the murderer of his companion - Tayro - and lunges at him, sucessfully dealing the young teenager a hard blow on his stomach (17+4[Roll+AGI]), dealing the Hylian 4 damage. However, unlike previously, the Brume Angel doesn't sneer at his opponents, and just floats back to its original position.

The Goron's Ruby Brume Angel is not yet free of attacks, and Alpha's hard wooden staff easily connects with the kid-looking creature's head (6+6[Roll+AGI]), forcing it down on the ground, raising a bit of dust - seems like the street hasn't been cleaned for a while. Even when Alpha removes his staff from the Brume Angel's head, it continues there, severely wounded, massaging its head.

It's the perfect timing for another attack, seeing it there, lying on the ground, unable to move. Tayro had a mix of different feelings and thoughts, and was rather unsure if he should indeed deal the final blow on the creature. He just couldn't stop staring at the Holybrume, who stood there weeping silently. I wonder if that's how my own mother felt when she parted with me... - he thought in his corner. Finishing another of her children would probably be heart-braking for her... yet if he let the creature stay alive, it would only continue to provoke mayhem. He gulped silently, and ran towards the fallen Angel, dealing it a hard blow on the head with his Deku weaponry. Knocked unconscious, the not-so-innocent Angel fell backwards, and as soon as its head touched the ground, it too started to dissipate into the winds, turning into nothingness like the Kokiri's Emerald Brume Angel before him. I wonder if this was the right thing to do...

Indeed, such an action was heartbraking to Holybrume as Tayro had thought. She opened her eyes very wide, looking at another companion of hers vanish, the quickly closed her eyes and put her soft, nearly-white hands over them, as she started crying incontrollably. If one would try to look at her long snow-white dress, one would notice that the middle symbol - the Goron's Ruby - was now shining a bright red.

The Zora's Sapphire Brume Angel was the only one left, and it wasn't going to give in so easily. Even if he was effectivel alone, he would stand up to its enemies. Pride, or perhaps wanting to die valiantly. One could think of many different reasons, yet if that person stood thinking too much, it wouldn't see the attack coming towards them - namely, this was what was happening to the Mage Apprentice. Too worried about killing the Holybrume internally, he did not notice the Brume Angel dashing towards him, and was effectively hit on his back quite roughly (16+4[Roll+AGI]), dealing him another 4 damage.

Dogura, normally having no feelings for such a creature, shared emotions with it. Although it was a monster, it looked so serene... So gracefull... Like an angel. Dogura suddenly snapped out of it. It was either him and his comreades, or the Holybrume, and it's child. And he was not about to let his story end there. "Alpha! Tayro! Dont fall for the tears. This Holybrume, although a sad sight, has caused nothing but trouble. It has no other option than defeat, or surrender. I dont think anything we say will make it forgive us of killing it's children."

The samurai stared the Holybrume in the eye, speaking still with Tayro and Alpha. "I know what it's like to lose somebody you love... I've lived through a few times." Dogura bowed to the Holybrume, and then locked eyes with it's child. "But we cannot stop here!" The vagabond charged the final brume angel, sword in hand.

Alpha grins as he hears the familiar *THUMP* of his staff firmly connecting with its target. There's nothing more relaxing then dealing damage to an enemy. And yet it still lives . . . until Tayro's staff also hits, causing it to fall away and disintegrate just like before. Hearing the Holybrume cry, all the Sheikah can do is turn towards her and look on. 'How sad . . .' he thinks to himself.

Yes, he concludes. The Holybrume really is quite sad and pathetic, a laughable enemy if ever he has faced one. But it does not escape him that the Goron Ruby on her dress now glows as well. Chance are good that she won't be pathetic for much longer, Alpha decides.

But he chooses to capitalize on the situation. "Your minions are quite pitiful," he calls out, addressing their conjurer for the first time in a long time. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say that you were as weak as they! Why don't you join us? I wouldn't mind taking everybody on all at once, you know!" He grins cockily at the red-headed Setze . . . hopefully distracting his true target even further. He can only see it out of the corner of his eye . . . but that's more than enough.

Even as Dogura charges the Sapphire Brume Angel, Alpha's hand shoots upward into a horizontal position as he calls upon the last trickle of magic remaining in his body. "Elemental Burst - Shadow!"

Dogura's swift strike is more than sucessful, and the humanoid creature is stricken deftly with another of the samurai's swift blows (15+6[Roll+AGI]), dealing 9 damage to the last of the triplets. The creature is hurled backwards with the shock, or maybe only to gain terrain, and it's evident that the irregular shape of its current haircut was the work of the Samurai's trusted weapon.

Setze is shocked to see some speech towards himself, and most specially a taunt. Of course, Alpha had just hit Setze's weak spot - his ego. "Why, how dare you! You want to take me on? Fine! I'll show you what I can do!" - the man growled, his eyes with a burning passion and a desire to kill. With complete ease, the man takes a step forward, but instead of stepping on ground, he is stepping on air. Setze starts to float on air, and yells to the rest of the party. "Pearl-bearer and you others! Don't you dare interfere! This is just between this creep here and me!" - he yells, completely pumped and raring to start the battle.

With all this commotion, truly no-one would be expecting Alpha's sudden attack on the Brume Angel, and the last of the Brume Angels indeed falls to the brutality of the Shadow Elemental Burst (2+3[Roll+SPI]), sapping the Zora's Sapphire Brume Angel's life energy, and causing it much pain. Afte contorting itself for a while, it stops, limp... and desintegrates itself like its fallen brethren. At last, all of the Brume Angels are now dead, vanished. At that same moment, the third and final symbol in Holybrume's long white dress lights up of a sea-blue color.

And that's when it started.

In a matter of moments, the three symbols in Holybrume started to vibrate and pulsate. The fine humanoid female stopped crying and got up, and she completely seemed void of emotion. At each second, the three holy artifacts started glowing brighter and pulsating harder, and Holybrume as well started contracting a grand amount of energy. Quickly enough, Setze brings up a red-coloured barrier around him, protecting the man against any types of damage, as it stops its fiery attitude and angered self to watch his minion. "Heh. You won't resist this." - he mocks, and grins evilly at his oppositor, Alpha, with a great desire to see him blown to bits. Continuously, the three symbols continue to vibrate and sendsing energy waves, and now, Holybrume starts gaining an even whiter colour. Energy fields start coming our of her, shockwave shaking the ground. "It's gonna blow!!" - Tayro yells, and searches around to find shelter, unable to find such a thing. Several yellow particles start appearing around Holybrume and several beams of light come from inside her. The vibrations get worse, and worse, until... it explodes.

All around everyone is light, so bright and quite blinding. Tayro closes his eyes instinctively, and awaits the moment of his death. That's it... - he thinks. Yet, the moment of death or intensive pain never comes. It's rather strange, as they can't feel even the slightest breeze, like if they were covered by a dome. As Tayro opens his eyes, he is indeed stupefied to see that it is in fact the reality - all the participants and the Temple of Nayru is covered in a silver-coloured barrier, who must've protected them from the explosion. "Heh! Glad I was found you, Master Tayro, or you'd be dead now! What would you do without me?" - a rather high and female voice comes from the boy's right side. Besides him lies a small, silver-coloured ball of light, and within it is a common being in Hyrule - a woman with an orange-coloured shirt and silver trousers. Her skin and long hair are silver as well, and more details are hard to see due to her diminute size. The only thing that really stands out is her enormous (in comparison) wings. It's a fairy. "Thank the Goddesses you were near, Elenina! I'm so relieved to see you!" - Tayro responds friendily to the small fairy besides him. Apparently, they know each other. At that moment, they spot Holybrume exhausted in the middle of the field, and the symbols having died out. Seeing them all alive there depresses her, and once again she starts to cry... and run away. She creates a black portal in the wall of the Temple and, continuously crying, goes inside and disappears.

"Why I... Argh! I'll let you off easily this time! Next time we meet, things won't be this easy!" - Setze growls, and, glaring at Alpha, runs towards the portal and hops inside as well. The portal starts shrinking, and shrinking, until it has completely disappeared. The fog that had enveloped the area before too disappeared, and people started walking around the place like nothing had ever happened. "Whew! That was close! Thanks for the help, Elenina!" - Tayro comments, a smile on his face. The woman seems glad as well, and flies up and down to signify that expression. "No problem at all, Master Tayro! Glad to have helped at all!" - she joyously replies. But still, a question starts forming in the young teenager's mind - how come she noticed they were in danger and came to help? It was rather strange. She seemed to read his mind though, and the fairy gave her answer quite naturally. "Well, ya know how your stone started shining?" - she asked. Tayro had a perplexed look upon his face - how could she have known? - "Besides light, that stone also emanes great and characteristic energy. I felt it, and came to check on you! You know, no biggie!" - she explained.

She glanced at the people besides the mage apprentice and looked at the teenager back again. "Say, Master Tayro, why don't introduce me to your friends, huh?" - she asks, sneering at him in a friendly manner. The boy comes back to his senses and looks back at the party. "Oh, right! Guys, this is Elenina, a fairy friend of mine." - he then turned back to the silver-coloured ball of light - "Elenina, these are Alex, Alpha, Blank, and Dogura." - he added, his hand pointed towards the other people besides him. "Pleasure!" - she cockily replies. A grin's on her face, but that would be quite hard to discern seeing her diminute size. Introductions done, she looks back at 'her master' and starts speaking in a more serious tone and slightly quieter, for complete strangers not to hear. "Master Tayro, I have something urgent to speak with you. It would be good if your companions came as well. Please meet me in North Forest tomorrow, if you don't mind." - she says. Making a small pause, she continues in even a more slient tone - "I got the book already."

Intrigued, the boy tilts his head to the side, then nods. "Sure! Okay. We'll meet again tomorrow again. Thanks again for the help, Elenina!" - he says. In a moment's time, the fairy teleports out of sight, possibly to the North Forest. Whew, quite a tiring day, today... - he mentally notes, then proceeds with a simple shrug. All this fighting had made him rather tired, and a rest wouldn't be too bad now. "Well, you heard her. If you want, let's all meet again in North Forest tomorrow!" - he tells them, as he starts walking out of the Temple District towards an Inn... or somewhere that would let him rest for a bit. He looks back once more to his friends. "See you! And thanks!"

OoC: And that's that with AToD! ^_^ Next up, A Stone or Something More? in North Forest. I'm not too satisfied with this post, though, so I might edit it tomorrow when I'm more awake - yet the contents shall remain the same.

Dogura was in a state of shock from what had just happened. He decided not to question, mainly because he was tired. He hadnt been this tired since the liberation of the Hakiem fortress. He felt like collapsing from all the strain on his mind, and body. "North Forest. Got it.." The samuari stated, as he turned his back, and dissapeared over the hill top, on his way home for a well deserved rest.

OOC: I had fun with that! Nice one! I'll be looking forward to "A stone or something more?" and I'll be watching North Forest. Get a good sleep Dream Illusionist. You deserve it. 8)

Alpha glares lasers at Setze as the Soul of Fire erupts into attacking mode. A slight grin forms on his face, and a laugh threatens to emerge from his lips - even though this is no laughing matter. Now that he has revealed his true power, the Sheikah is able to sense quite clearly the depths of that power. 'This could be very bad,' Alpha thinks to himself. 'I might need get away from this group while I fight him; at least then I could utilize my Wraith abilities . . .'

Then the Brume Angel dies, and suddenly Holybrume itself is working up to form a massive explosion! Seeing the shield around his haughty opponent, Alpha prepares to do the next best thing for that: his arms fly outward, grabbing a portion of his cape in each hand and holding it out wide. His scar glows violet as he begins to initiate a little trick he had last used in the Battle of Ruto West: he'll transform his very body and clothing into a portal to the Void, allowing that realm to take in the explosion's force and leave him unscathed. 'Let's see how fire-boy likes this one!'

And yet before the portal can be opened, a new shield forms around the group, protecting them. Alpha slowly lets his scar's light fade away as the fairy introduces itself and Setze vanishes. 'Pity . . . it would have been fun to actually release some of my power again . . . but this is probably for the best. Wouldn't want to destroy all of Hyrule in the process, now would I?'

Hearing the fairy's desired meeting time, though, Alpha slightly cringes. "Tomorrow, huh? I have something that I need to take care of tomorrow about one o'clock, but I'll stop by for as long as I can." With a nod to Tayro, Alex, Blank, and the exhausted Dogura, the Sheikah too turns and heads out of the Temple Quarter. Things are certainly getting interesting . . . again.

OOC: Indeed, Tayro, this one was quite fun. I just wish it hadn't been stopped halfway through for so long . . . Whatever, it all turned out to be great in the end.

OOC: Oh no... I missed it... Exceptionally sorry guys. If I don't post enough in the next one... hunt me down and harm something dear to me! I'm ridiculous!

IC:

Blank's mouth hung open as he watched Holybrume explode. It seemed like an undeserved end. The "monster" hardly seemed like one that would normally do such harm. Surely this Setze fellow was to blame. The barrier that appeared to be protecting his body, however, relieved him of his pity for the graceful Angels. He was almost jumping for joy when Holybrume showed vital signs by escaping the Temple - but then he remembered something that should have been a bit obvious. Holybrume was the enemy today. As was Setze, and Blank immediately ignored the union between the fairy Elenina and his newest ally, Tayro.

He looked over to the enraged Setze. He wasn't quite sure if the general was a force to be taken seriously, but by his first chosen minion to throw at the party, Blank was sure underestimating the man would be a grave mistake. He was glad that Setze had dispersed as well, and was entirely happy that Alpha had become the retreated's newest focal enemy. Less agony for Blank to worry about, really. He shrugged off that negative thinking, though, knowing very well that he was still entangled in this affair just as much as his Sheikah friend. The Hylian knew this little fiasco would come back to bite him later.

With this in mind, Blank began to slink towards the Temple Quarter entrance. He heard Tayro mention something about his stone, and North Forest. He groaned in silence, but then thought better of the adventure and smiled, reluctantly. Shaking his head solemnly, Blank waved goodbye to the group. "Guess I'll see you guys tomorrow... I hope..."

OOC: Yes! Here's to being active for the next installment! [/hopeful promising]
