"Hylian, Hylian, do you seek a fight? I couild use some practice, perhaps I would even let you live, that is if you put up a good fight.
Denning gets his staff firmly in his hands.
"You see Hylian, this land is not your "kings" it is the land of exiles, if by some freak force you harm me, or even touch me, those who appose HHyrule king will gladly fight."

Victor lifted his hand to his chin, rubbing it thoughtfully. He seemed to be considering Denning's offer.

"Well, now that you mention it, I have been itching for a fight. Hmm...Denning, you seem interested in the matter..."

Then, in clear insult, Victor said:

"...why don't you go find someone strong enough to fight me?"

At this, he smirked; an expression that would no doubt cause Denning to lose his temper...

Alpha's eyes widen with respect as he listens to Victor. 'Would've never thought he had it in him, standing up to Denning like that...always seemed so timid. I rather like this change of attitude. Though now there's an even better chance of my losing the bet than I originally thought. Oh well, it may be worth it.'
He leans over to Julian again. "In the interest of our little wager, what do you say we make sure this fight remains a one-on-one? If Denning's right and the exiles do come to help him, I propose we begin practicing our aim."

"Hahahahahaha, you pathetic little Hylian!"
Denning swigs with an upercut and tries to hit Victor in the chest.

Victor jumps back while simultaneously dropping his dagger into his palm. Now firmly grasping the hilt, he thrusts it towards Denning...

Denning ducks down, so the dagger is over his face, he makes a baskflip and then launches into a jumping downward thrust.

Victor dodges again, letting Denning hit the ground. Using the Sheikah's temporarily open guard to his advantage, Victor made another attempt at a thrust...

As he can not move, his arm is cut, the rushes down his arm, he heals himself, then wipes the on his staff, he waits, kneeling, the y end of his staff near his foolish opponent.

Victor stares at the staff ominously pointing in his direction. He seems to be planning...

Then, without warning, he runs off into the distance. Right when you think he has given up, a small dot appears in the distance. Quickly, this dot grows larger and larger, obviously flying towards Denning. You see that it is a boomerang, heading straight for Denning's head, the weapon's owner not too far behind it...

Denning is stiken in the head, he slowly sinks into the sand, you cannot tell if he is in sinkingsand, or if this is a trick.

Seeing Denning slowly dissappear into the sand, Victor ran towards him, collecting his boomerang on the way. He didn't want to kill Denning; mortally wound him, maybe, but kill him? No, Victor just wasn't that kind of guy.

Quickly, Victor picked a stick up from off of the ground. Extending it towards Denning's sinking mass, he attempted to save his foe...

Denning takes it and gets up.
"Thank you...for this chance of !"
Denning hits Victor in hope to make him fall through the sand.
'Never trust!"

As Victor began to sink, he heard Denning's last words.

"How true," he thought, "trust is no longer valued in a land such as this..."

He sank lower and lower, until finally, he disappeared under the sand. But just as Denning thought he had won, just as the Victor's end seemed imminent, something miraculous happened.

From under the sands came two arms; one clutching a dagger, the other grasping a boomerang. As the sand slid off of these weapons, the arms moved them towards the edge of the sand pit. Then, using the knife and the boomerang as if he were a mountain climber, Victor emerged from the pit.

Spitting out the sand that had collected within his mouth, Victor made it out of the quicksand. Lying stomach-down on the desert floor, he crawled a little further away from the trap.

But before Denning could attack once more, Victor acted. Jumping up into a fighting stance, he motioned his hand at Denning, tempting the Shiekah to attack once more...

Grenada entered the area and saw a commotion. He was one to fight, so he rushed to the scene as quickly as he could, passing Alpha and Julian, and was more than shocked to see what was occurring before him. Victor and Denning fighting, so savage, barbaric, useless.

"Stop! What's wrong with you two? Have you gone mad? You're on the same side! God damn!"

He wasn't going to get between them, that was stupid, but he had to figure out what was going on. He didn't care that it was happening, and during different circumstances he might've even found it comical.

Still in a fighting stance, Victor glanced quickly towards the Deku, then returned to keeping a close eye on Denning. Speaking in the Deku's direction, he said:

"You would be surprised to know that Denning is a traitor! He believes in some other "king" now; he claims that this "king" is more powerful than King Harkian II himself!"

Victor gazed menacingly in Denning's direction, then continued:

"Being a Hylian Knight myself, I could not let this stand! To allow such a....blatant lie to be made! To let this traitor ignore the Knight's oath so....brazenly! I could not stand idly by! I simply had to act!"

Victor looked even more threateningly at Denning. If looks could kill, then Denning's very soul would have been ripped apart.

"I am required to protect my kindgom. To me, this Sheikah is a threat towards peace."

With this final statement, Victor spat at Denning, insulting him even further...
