Grenada drops the stake and jumps away when the whole leg disintegrates, he didn't expect it to be that good. He cringes when it lands inches from Kasei, 'jeez, that was close. That is one lucky guy.' He begins to brush some dust off his robe, until he hears Cloud say go for the head. He charges toward the head as quickly as possible, but then remembers he forgot the stake. He slides to a stop, and reverses his direction to head back for it. Making a pass, he clutches the stake before continuing a circle to head for the head and taking a tighter grip, he pulls back and thrusts it toward the forehead...

kasei also hears clouds comment, and launches arrows at the skull..

Kasei's arrows bounce of the hard skull of the stalfose. Grenada's attack was different. The spike digs deep into the skull and the stalfose springs to its feet. It was holding his forehead and its leg had regenerated.

AARGH! You'll pay for that!

The stake was still in the stalfose's head and he was magically weakened. It was nothing more than an oversized wimp.

I have my strength back!

Cloud shattered the ice and faced the stalfose.

Take this!

Cloud cast Elemental Explotion. It was a powerful light attack! Rings of light pinned the stalfose to the wall, leaving him open for the final attack.

Grenada wished he still had the stake, it would have helped against the Stalfos. He had seen how much damage normal weapons did to it, and compared to the stake it was nothing. Still, he knew that just because he didn't have the stake didn't mean he couldn't do anything, so he withdrew his blade, climbed up on top of the right foot and slashed at the ankle.

great, that was my best arrow! kasei jumps back, and activates chaos kasei, with the purple flames, he charges, ten times his streangth!

Greanada's attack sliced clean through the ankle and the stalfose screamed in pain. Kasei's attack hit the Stalfose right in the chest. The monster moaned and fel limp. It was dead.

Good job everybody! We defeated the boss!

Cloud saw the door ahead of them open and inside was a wonderful surprise.

what? what is it? I can't see past my eyelids!

"Oh, my gosh...!" Xokorn exclaimed when the treasure was revealed to the party. He smiled in satisfaction; that was a pretty tough battle.

OOC: Uh... What was it?

Upon closer inspection the group finds that the room is filled to the cieling with rupees and treasure. There are a couple pedestals with a different weapon in each. Each weapon crafted of the finest gold found in the kingdom.

TREASURE!

Strato ran and started making snow angels in the rupee piles. The pedestals each had a weapon meant for a different member of the group. Cloud imediately ran and grabbed the golden staff. Which will you get?

the dagger, duh! kasei runs over and grabs it!

Grenada looks into the room, and his jaw drops. Rupees, and more than he culd ever need. He was tempted to run in, but knows it could be a trap, so he performs an awareness check, searching for anything of interest. His eyes move over all the weapons, though makes his decision quickly. Walking over, he pulls piles of rupees toward him, and when he arrives, he places his fingers around a 1H sword, a big smile across his face.

Grenada's check shows that there is only treasure here. It also shows him a large table in the miidle of the room. It was filled with mouth watering foods and delicious drinks.

Hey everyone! Look at this!

Cloud was standing by a large flan stone. It was inscribed with instructions of some kind. It was in Common so anyone could read it. It was instructions for an attack called: The strike of the Twin Blades. What could it be?

Xokorn sighed in thought. Sounds like that we need someone who can dual-wield swords...

He repeated his thought to the rest of the group, hoping that his hunch would be widely accepted.

OOC: Hey! You continued without me.

IC:
"Attack of the Twin Blades?" Rose says out loud. "I think someone would need to know how to dual wield like Xokorn said. Or is it an attack where you use one sword, but it looks like two because you attack quickly?"

Noone ever said that it was two WEAPONS that you needed. I think it's an attack for two people.

Cloud noticed some dust at the bottom of the tablet. He bent down and brushed it away.
