Alpha silently moves into the corner, waiting for Dogura to catch up with him. He knows that the Hylian feels more strongly about fighting the Exiles than he does, but he himself has no intention of avoiding this fight...he just wishes to fight in a different way than the Royal Guard would have them. In a way where he feels like he is protecting the people rather than the Royal Family.

OOC: I implore you people, don't reply to this unless I've PMed you all recently about a little project I'm working on. The project may not work out; I have yet to get MG's approval, though I have asked for it. But either way, this definitely won't hurt Nogare's story.

Oh, and even if I did PM you, if you aren't in Nogare's "The King's Council" topic, don't reply here. This is a small offshoot of that topic (Weien once did it for Victor's story). We'll discuss together for as long as the King is gone from the chamber, and when he returns, we'll go back over to Nogare's topic.

Dogura made his way through the people listening to the king, and scooted into the corner. "What's going on?" Dogura smirked as if he already knew. Or was that the case. "Alpha, Alpha... Do we always think alike?" He leaned against the wall and closed his eyes. "Ive been thinking about this for a while myself. I dont like the idea of defending a nation that has done nothing for me. The only way this land has affected me was by taking my father, and..."

He stopped there, as if he felt he was saying too much. "However, i am for the good of the people. If it were up to me, I'd rather look out for number one in this thing. Protecting the king would be costly and annoying." He realized he was speaking rather loudly, and hushed himself. "You are looking for more people, yes? People like you and me." He stopped waiting intently for the Sheikah's words.

OOC: I hope MG approves! This would be so cool! Im right there with ya!

Alpha matches Dogura's smirks with one of his own. The Hylian's thoughts have indeed paralleled his own. "Were you reading minds again, Dogura?" It really doesn't matter, the Sheikah adds in his thoughts. Silently, he turns to face away from the corner so that he can keep his eye on anyone who seems to be getting too close, and then continues talking in hushed tones, only looking at the man standing beside him with the corner of his eye. "We agree on quite a bit, it seems. While I respect King Harkinian for being able to rule over a country effectively in times of peace, I hold no loyalties to this king or his country. Especially not in war.

"I have...heard rumors about some of the things that happened in Ruto and Rauru. It seems the Royal forces were forcing people to enlist in the army, and those that refused were thrown in the dungeons of this castle. Harkinian seems honorable when peace reins, but his leadership has fallen greatly as a result of the approaching battles."

The Sheikah shakes his head sorrowfully. "I refuse to fight for 'his Majesty' if he is oppressing the innocent. But I cannot stand idly by if those same innocent are in danger...which is why I chose to join up with this group. However, I saw both Blank and Tayro turn their heads in disgust at the very thought, and now you agree with me as well...it seems there are several who think like us.

"My proposition is this: we need to gather together and fight against the Exiles on our own, in our own way, and without anyone trying to manipulate us. I have no doubt Tayro and Blank would join in the defense of the people; they only dispise the royalty. And there are certainly other Neutral spectators who would join this cause." He finally stops talking for a moment, catching his breath. It's been a while since he's said so much is such a short amount of time, but he's glad to finally say it aloud. After a few seconds, he turns his head back to Dogura. "What do you think?"

Nogare wrote:Moments later, Hyrule's King emerged from back stage. All eyes turned to him. "The tactic is decided. I am depending on all of the heroes that have helped Hyrule's people to meet me atop the wall. It will be too hard to explain in a plaza. If you visualize it, you will understand better. But I only want a few to come to the walls... all 6000 will be too many... I'd like anyone who has done a heroic deed for Hyrule. Many knights have done some kind things for the kingdom, but I need a few like you, you..." He points to about 40 or 50 men, one of which is you...

Alpha glances at Dogura yet again. "Should we follow? It'll be important to learn what this group is planning so we can attempt to coordinate our efforts to effective match theirs."

The samurai's eyes narrowed at the mention of Ruto, and Rauru. "What? Why he... I did not predict this. It seems there is more to the King than what meets the common eyes." Dogura scowled at the King, but turned his head before their eyes met.

He looked back to Alpha. "Alright. Im leaving." He glared at the king, and then closed his eyes. "I'll go seek the others, to inform them of what is taking place. I'll check back with you later." He advanced toward the doorway, and slipped out of sight.

"Right. I'll go see what it is the King is planning." The Sheikah grabs Dogura's shoulder as he passes. "Make sure to keep an eye out for both Blank and Tayro - I'm sure they'll be interested in this. I believe Alex is Neutral as well, so try to find him as well. Good luck, Dogura." With that, the Sheikah leaves the corner and walks forward, following in the direction the King has indicated he should go.

And he pulls his hood down even further than before.

Dogura stepped out into the sun and looked around. Scanning the streets for any neutral members, he waited for anyone to pass by.

Rose was somewhat bored. And when she was bored, she often walked around aimlessly. Very often, she ended up in places she never expected to be in. Outside the castle was one such example. She had tried to avoid it. Why she even went into North Castle was beyond her; even though she had grew up in the city, she did not like it. She was a woman of nature, only sleeping inside when there was a storm outside.

The former Tarm general turned to leave when she saw Dogura out of the corner of her eye. Seems there was a reason to be here, she thinks absent mindedly. She walks over to the Hylian. "Hello," she said. "Looking for someone?"

A smile grew on the vagabond's face. "Ha! How ironic! You read my mind this time around!" He motioned for Rose to come closer. "Alpha and I are gathering those of neutral alighnment. Alpha is inside speaking with the King. You wouldnt believe the skeletons in Harkanian's closet!" He spoke glumly. "You should speak with Alpha when he returns from the meeting. He only went to shed some light on the king's intentions. I for one, as well as Alpha, dont like the feeling of being used."

He retreated back into the shadows where it was cooler. It was a scorcher of an afternoon, and Dogura detested sunlight, and avoided it whenever possible. He motioned her into the shadows. "We cant be too suspicious. Im sure the guards are looking for any suspicious loitering people." He glanced around nervously. "Damnit, how long is that meeting? And Im sure there are warriors other than us that feel this way about the secrets of the royal family. What say you?"

OOC: I assume Alpha has spoken to you via Instant Message?

OOC: Nope, telepathy. XD

"I say I don't really want to know what the skeletons in King Harkinian's closet are," Rose said. "I'm not one to care for a nation as a whole, just the people living in it. Although, I suppose the people make the nation....Well, if the king is making blunders, I suppose I better fix them if they are putting people into danger. I'll join you and Alpha. Just don't expect me to play around with politics."

As the others were pointed out, Alex ignored completely the King's petition (if it wasn't an order). As he turn around, he saw his favorite samurai and former female General, Dogura and Rose.
The Zora approached them with a serious look, he tried to get confused within the people, but it would probably be a hard task with his blue scales...
"Hey..." he said in a grim tone "You may have already read my mind, so it is of no use of hiding it to both; I disagree with this or any war" he tried to enclose the the group, forming a circle with the others "If there is any way we can stop this war from ever starting, I'm in"
He crossed his arms, showing his disgust for the war, a war was the one that destroyed his family, that took him away from his home, that threw him into this dry land; and now, he had the opportunity to stop one, he would do anything.
OOC: Maybe some NPC's could...

IC: A half smile formed on the smurai's lips. "It's great to see you are against war, as i am as well. War took my loved ones too, you arent alone. However Alex, you must understand, that no matter how far you travel, or how advanced a civilization becomes, there will always be conflict. Nobody likes fighting, or at least I hope not. However, this war is inevitable. If there was a way to stop, you know I would be doing all that's in my power to try." The samurai stopped talking long enough for a new side of him to shine.

"However... Im always looking for a way to release my anger, and thoughts. Always looking for a way to appease my thirst for revenge on those who took what was preciouse to me. Never will i forget... never." He stopped talking, and glanced at Alex, and then to Rose. "If you're in, then you're in. Once you start, you cannot stop. It's full speed all the way through. If you intend to flake out later, then dont bother joining us. Understood?" He felt harsh, but measures as such had to be taken. There could be no weakness in the defensive wall the vagabond was building. Not one.

OOC: So are you in Mikaudes? Please join us! We got a good little thing going, and you'll be kicking yourself later if you dont join! But it's dinner time for me, so later guys!

OOC: Dinner? Ha! I'm eating my pint of cookies and cream ice cream.

"I ought to slap you for saying that," Rose says to Dogura in playful tones. Getting serious, she adds, "You know that if I say I'll help, then I'm going to help."

OOC: I'm as in as ??? is in the toilet

"I guess there is no way to avoid violence now; but there's got to be something I can do, rather than kill as I'm told to" Alex looked around to see if anyone was watching them.
"So, what's the plan?"

Dogura leaned against a tree, and looked into space. "Well, right now Alpha is gaining knoledge of the King's plan from the inside. We spoke, and split up inside, and I'm out here gathering the neutral warriors, such as yourselves." His eyes glow a mysterious yellow when in shadow, and sends the message that whatever will happen, he will be at his best. "I expect great things from you, and many more that will follow their destiny to this spot."

OOC: I just spoke with Alpha, and He'll hit you guys with onmformation soon. We have a meeting spot, but im not telling you where until the time comes. For now, if you got a PM from Alpha, please join us here, we've got something good cooked up for you guys.

Tayro walked around North Castle Courtyard. All seemed very quiet and calm - quite the contrary from the usual one who's filled with people and life. Most shops are closed, doors locked, and few people inside. He had seen Royal Knights patrolling the premises, and the gate was also locked. The energy-filled city was now suffering the effects of war. The boy, however, just couldn't understand why people were so eager to help to protect the Royal Family instead of their families... it just striked him as an oddity. They have become mindless puppets, with no will of their own. They just do what the puppeteer makes them do. The mage apprentice looked at the King's balcony, where all seemed calm. Too calm, to tell the truth. I heard a meeting was taking place... guess it's inside then. It really didn't interest him much, so he let his mind drift off that subject.

He had come to North Castle for one reason - he wanted an ice-cream, feel it's flavor slowly melting in his mouth, the creamy substance just melting away, the quite delicious and cruchy cone... oh! It was so hard to describe the feeling - it was just plain awesome. Since had eaten an ice-cream for the first time, he just loved it. The boy had never eaten any sweets of any kind, and only now discovered the great sugary goodness. However, to much of the boy's dismay, the ice-cream parlour, like the rest of the shops here, would probably be closed. It was worth a shot though.

However, as he was walking down the street, someone whistled him from behind. Turning back, the mage apprentice saw it was a Royal Knight with a grumpy look.
Uh oh... here comes trouble! - he thought. The guard on patrol spoke with a quite harsh and violent tone, so much that Tayro did want to hit him himself, but restrained himself. "What's a kid doing here? Don't you see that's dangerous here? Go home kiddo, before you get hurt!" The Knight even dared to sneer at him, and Tayro had to use all his willpower to not hit the creep right now. Because of the superiority look, the tone, calling him a 'kid'... the Hylian despised the Royal Family, despised the Exiles, and he just hated these kinds of conflicts with innocent people getting killed and no-one caring about that. Trying not to make physical and hard contact with the guard, the boy just turned his back on him and started walking away.

On his way to the shop, he spotted three familiar faces gathered. Dogura, Rose and Alex? What are they doing here? Probably not on a field trip... probably something's on. - he thought. He walked towards his friends, waving at them. "Hi there!" He proceeded in doing the usual greeting - shaking hands with the presents.
"So... is something the matter?" - he voices, obviously knowing the answer, but wanting the details on it. If something was brewing, he probably wanted to participate as well - left behind is something the boy didn't like much. He rested his back on a building as he patiently awaited a reply from the presents. I guess the ice-cream will have to wait!
