Leaving General Noval and General Lion behind, the group heading for the Triforce Tower enters into the rightmost passageway on their way to the find one of the two keys needed to get through the locks on the Throne Room. Although General Noval had placed Sir Nogare Blade in command of the mission, Colonel Horren Veldam walks forward quickly, being the first to enter the hallway beyond the right door.

On the opposite side of the entryway lies yet another hall, very similar to the ones they had already been through. There are large windows on one side, allowing the moonlight to shine through on various portraits and paintings, these depicting the lineage of Link the Hero. The entire area is deftly silent, though, causing a ghastly impression to fall upon the minds of all those walking through it.

It is fortunate, as the Hylian Knights should know, that their trip will likely not be a long one. For an artifact as important as the Triforce, it has always been thought of as imperative that the knights be able to protect it as well as their main charge, the king. So the Triforce Tower had been placed as close as architecturally possible to the throne room, making it easier for the knights to guard over both the king and the Triforce.

As long as nothing interrupts their journey, it should only take about ten minutes to reach their destination . . . hopefully Wraith was telling them the truth . . .

Leth slowly walks forward, glancing at the lineage of Link. He looks behind him. "Hey Drom, come get a look at th... Drom? Oh, great. Karuna, have you seen Drom?" He asks hopefully.

As Fang walked, he felt soemthing inside of him. His stomach seemed to sink, as he had never been so close to such power before. Fang's fingers were twitching, and his eyes widened with excitement. He would soon be the greatest power in all of Hyrule. After he captured the Triforce of Wisdom, he would seek out all the Plyzmonian Relics. He began to sweat at the idea. Soon, and very soon would he dominate all of Hyrule. This thought would surely drive him through any opposition. As he walked, he snickered at the painting of the "Great Hero of Time". After tonight... Hallowed heros of Hyrule will cringe at the mentioning of my name... hmhmhmhmhm...

How could it be... that both my son, and Fang are slipping into darkness?... How?...

Rose jogged to catch up to the group, slowing down when she came to the front next to Veldam. It probably wasn't a good idea to talk, but the human was curious. "Holodrum legend doesn't speak much about the Triforce, but there are tales about it," she said. "We know it's tale of creation probably as well as any Hyrulean, but our legends have never been very clear about it's power. Is there anything you can tell about the Triforce of Wisdom besides the fact that it's very powerful?"

Horren glances over as Rose walks up beside him and starts talking. The moment she finishes her question, the Colonel smirks and lets out a short chuckle. "Sorry, but I'm no General Noval. He's the high-up guy in us Hylian Knights; he's the one with access to information. All I know about the Triforce is what anybody knows: made by the goddesses, it's incredibly powerful, and Ganon wants to get his hands on it." He brings his sword up, resting it on his shoulder. "That's all I've ever really needed to know."

He turns to look over at Nogare, the one Noval had placed in charge of the mission. An interesting choice; Veldam had heard of the son of Greyblade, and knew he'd fought in a few good battles, doing quite well at making a reasonable name for himself. But Horren had never met the knight before; wouldn't have even recognized the guy without Noval's acknowledgment of the man. "Hey, Nogare! You know anything else about the Triforce?"

Karuna's reply dampens Leth's hope like water on fire. "No, I haven't seen him. I thought you knew where he was." Leth groans, and asks the group just as Horren asks his question, "Has anyone seen Drom?"

OOC: Alright, well, I think it's safe to assume now that Nogare's going away for a bit. So, as unfortunate as it is, we'll just have to continue on without his input. Too bad; the entire reason I made this little branching point was because of his and my collaborations. Oh well.

ONWARD!!! 8)

IC:
Shada takes a look around as Leth asks his question. "I didn't notice him leave . . . maybe he went back to join the generals?" Seeing Horren just shrug thoughtfully at the possibility, the female Sheikah gives him a shrug in return and keeps walking.

Retaining his position at the head of the pack, Colonel Veldam points to the left as they pass by a doorway. "The Triforce Tower's pretty close to us, fortunately. Through this hallway right here there's a rather large stairwell, big enough for five of us to walk side by side up. Head up ten or so stories, and we'll be right where we need to be." Continuing to lead them along, Horren turns into the next hall, revealing walls covered now with a mural of the legendary Imprisoning War . . . or at least, that's what everyone assumed. The event had taken place so long ago, and this painting was made in just as ancient an era. Well, the Hero wielding the Master Sword against Ganon, the Princess of Hyrule, and the Triforce are all present, so there's a good chance of it.

The mural expands over every surface in this corridor, save for the flooring on which they walk. Horren motions for everyone to hurry up. "C'mon, you guys, we can't afford to waste any time, even if it is a really pretty painting." He stops and gives a chuckles as he looks around at it. Oh well, the mission comes before the thrill of studying artwork, so the Colonel keeps on walking.

Sovelis had been searching up and down this strange castle for hours, looking for anything that could help him return his powers.. Only a few tomes could be read, so he grabbed an armful and was heading back the way he hand came in. He didn't see the large group of travelers that had entered the castle, nor did he hear them, since he was to busy trying not to trip over his own robes. Sovelis's staff hung on his pack, which was also stuffed full of books and scrolls. "This is going to take me months to get through any of these..." he mumbled to himself as he bumped into Colonel Horren Veldam and fell over.

Having been just discussing about how easy and uneventful the journey between their current hallway and the top of the Triforce Tower ought to be, the last thing Horren was expecting was to turn the corner into the next hall and run smack dab into some stray wanderer. Stumbling backwards, he nearly falls on top of Rose and Shada before miraculously managing to maintain his balance. His eyes shoot back up to where Sovelis lies on the floor, and the first thing he realizes is that he doesn't recognize this man at all.

His Iron Sword is out of its sheathe in an instant, and he points it straight at the man before he realizes the second thing about him: this guy's a Human, not a Sheikah, and therefore most likely not a Hakiem. "Who the heck are you, and what are you doing here?!" he asks, not lowering his blade.

"Er...um...I'm Sovelis...Could you take your sword out of my face? I'm here for some books and scrolls. They hold valuable information to me." Said the Last Tempest as he looked at the sword-point in his face. "Who are you people, their shouldn't be others wandering around..."

"I should say there shouldn't be any others around! We're in the middle of a crisis!" Colonel Veldam yells at Sovelis before he can stop himself. 'Oh boy, the generals probably won't be too happy about me blurting out that little fact . . .' Well, anyway, the Colonel does lower his blade, but doesn't put it away just yet, instead choosing to hold it at the ready. "Any of you know this guy?" he asks the rest of the group, not turning away from the - potentially dangerous - man.

Shada shakes her head. "No, I don't think I've ever met him before . . ." (OOC: Sovelis, correct me if that's wrong)

OOC: >_<! :D, now that my snazzy-tantrum's done, and I gained a bit of control over my head-ache, I'm back. But Alf, and anyone else, if I am in your event, rather than ignore me, please god-mood me. That is, as long as your the GM, and I've missed too much to wait on. Thank you.

IC: Nogare nodded to Veldam with a joking smile. "Of course! It's blue, and it talks." But his face became serious quickly. "Also, it is the source of our victory, and if all of the triforces are gathered..." he shivered. "... You don't want to know what will happen... I was there when Link bore the Triforce of Power while he was still in Hyrule*, and it only drove him mad, because it now only bears dark powers, no thanks to the Prince of Darkness. He was turned into a creature of deathly power - a moblin. It was the Triforce of Power that turned Ganon into a Moblin-like figure in the first place. Anyway, I know that there will be hell if this falls into enemy hands. We know well that the Exiles may bear the Triforce of Power. Which one? No one knows. And the Triforce of Courage is in Link's heart, and that is in danger from the wars that Calatia may now bear. And at this moment, the Triforce of Wisdom is safe." Then, the renowned knight's face darkened. "And if they happen to obtain it, there is only one way to prevent that dark gathering to once again occur..." he starred upon the ground with a still face. Silence lasted only a moment. He looked up quickly with a smile. "So yes, I suppose I know a bit about the Triforce."

Then Veldam spoke, and pointed in the right direction. Nogare nodded absentmindedly as he recognized the way. "Good." murmured the vassal of Harkinian II.

OOC: Wow. Hang on a second... Alpha, this castle wasn't around during the Imprisoning war, unless for some reason the castle was teleported Northward into this country. Hyrule is south of Death Mountain, remember? Or, in the TDC timeline, sunken into the deep blue.

IC: Nogare looked upon the painting. "Ah yes... the terror that started it all those thousands of years ago... Few know that it was because of that gathering that made Ganondorf into Ganon. The Triforce was presented, and all turned into hellfire." Then Horren spoke, and Nogare agreed hastily. "Right. No time for seeing such things..." Just more omens anyway...

OOC: Do I know anything? Well, yes, I know many things. And I am only learning more .

IC: They run, and they come upon Sovelis. The knight, too, is astonished, but motions his hands and fingers at Veldam in the sign language of the Hyrulean Royal Guard, telling him to stop. "This man is a friend." He was certain that everyone else knew Sovelis. He had not seen him, though, for a very long time.

Grey's son comes to Sovelis' side, and helps him to his feet. He was about to speak in Ancient Hylian to him, but caught himself, remembering that he was human. He repeated Veldam's questions: "What in Harkinian's name are you doing here?! And why are you just lying around on the floor?!"

*Again, you'd have to read the Valiant comics.

Ah, well, that's if you follow the TDC timeline. :P I have my own that I'm . . . vaguely following (couldn't follow it really that much, since it's so vastly different from most people's that the difference would drive us all into the land of unending arguments . . .). And anyways, who says that this castle isn't just in another part of Hyrule from OoT's castle? I never said they were the same (did I?).

IC:
Veldam allows his glance to move to the side as Nogare steps forward, vouching for the man. The Colonel sighs and sheathes his weapon; that's the end of the discussion. Even if Nogare had not been placed in charge of this mission by General Noval, Horren knows to trust the word of a fellow Hylian Knight. He walks forward, answering one of the questions posed by the son of Greyblade. "He's on the ground because we ran into one another," he says calmly as he offers Sovelis a hand.

Turning his full attention onto the Human, he continues. "You'll have to excuse my rudeness, but like I said," he chuckles, trying to cover up how disappointed in himself he is for allowing that detail to slip out, "we're in a state of crisis. I'm afraid that you're going to need to either get out of here ASAP . . . or join up with our little group."

"Do I have much of a choice? I'll help, If someone will help me carry these books." Sovelis said, motioning to the books around him as he started to pick them up. "I also have been looking for somone in this castle, I don't know his name, but he is suposed to have knoledge of an ancient ritual that could help me...so I'll help you Sir. I am a mage, so I could be of some help. I can fight or heal." Sovelis said as he stuffed he books in his already full pack. He strugled for a minute, unable to lift the heavy pack. "I'll come back for this later, we sould move, The guards might have seen me leaving the Library with all these spellbooks." said Sovelis as he got his staff and a few scrolls from his pack."I don't know what'll happen, but I'll help as much as I can. My magic and my staff are yours to comand." Sovelis looked at the group, hoping he wouldn't have to do too much, he had to much on his hands already...
