You find yourself at North Castle for whatever reason, and you notice a man wearing a cloack, hood and all, in summer. The cloak is white, with the sheikahs eyes on the back. The man walks around, books in his arms. He avoids guards as he walks into a back alley, he slips into the alley quitly, yet you still saw him. So, what will you do?

Following closely behind the man, Blank makes his way into the alley and sneaks up behind the white-robed Sheikah. He recalls that the skulking cleric is wanted for the murder of a Knight and his family, but decides to find out what business his friend has at North Castle.

Denning... What are you doing?

As you say Denning, the man stops. He turns and lowers his hood.

"Ah, Blank, its you. Im, well, um, going somewhere...a place ive been for about a month now. Its nothing to worry about so please, do not follow."

Denning slips on his hood and runs behind a store, you see that he is going down some stairs. The last words were said in a deep harsh tone.

kasei appeares out of nowhere, hello blank, denning, when did you get back?

Denning stops before enterning a door.
"Back? I never left."
At that Denning enters and closes the door, you hear no lock device shut, you may be able to go in...

Poor guy. That Denning, just as mysterious as ever. He's probably avoiding the guards, so I won't bring attention to his presence. He didn't really give me a straight answer when I asked him, but I respect his privacy. I'll let him sort out his own business unless he needs assistance.

Blank decides not to follow the cleric into the building, but instead leans against the wall and sags to the ground, falling into a half-awake slumber. He trusts that the other man will give in to curiosity and follow Denning, but the nomad will remain in this spot for a while, should Denning return to the alley. Besides, he's broke, and there is no way he is going to pay an absurd Inn price when he can sleep in the alley.

A small light eluminates from a in the door Denning entered. A soft voice of a cleric can be heard.

OOC: About ten rupees short of North Castle Inn fare

Unable to sleep due to the noises from inside, Blank entertains the idea of eavesdropping on the cleric's business, just for now. He keeps his eyes closed to portray the image of slumber should his rouse break and he be found out. It was just too suspicious. Denning had always been a mysterious fellow, and Blank had always kept himself free of interrupting the scholar's business. But he has little else to do, so he listens in.

You hear wispers of a few words, "Cleric" "Betrayel" "Similer" "Demon" Dennnig makes it clear that who he speaks of is not Denning but someone else, the characteristics seem all to similar, but again Denning says, "Who? Who is this man?"

Blank can only sit and wonder what the conversation behind the door is about. He thinks it could have something to do with Denning's connection to the demon known as Deoxolips, quite possibly the cleric's only real arch-enemy. But, having only four words to base this assumption on, the nomad continues to listen, concentrating on the voices in an attempt to hear more.

As you listen again, the voice gets angered.

"I know the clerics trials! I know his history! Books! Give me his name! Ive been reading for months! All i want is this mans name! He was betrayed, power thirsty, and came back to this world for revenge on the Clerics, but who! Who was it?'

At this a book is slamed shut. You can hear a soft sound of wood hiting wood.

Damn... what is going on here...

At this point, instinct persuades Blank to intrude on Denning's meeting inside the building. However, he does not want to get in the Sheikah's way should something terrible happen. All he can do is absorb the words that he hears and try to get an understanding of the situation. It is not as easy as he thought it would be.

Alright... when he comes out, I'll ask him myself. I've known Denning for a while now, so why shouldn't he be able to trust me? Still... I've got an uneasy feeling about this.

The Hylian continues to eavesdrop, wondering what that wood-on-wood sound was, but even more important, what is going on.

At this point, a book is thrown out a window, a window from the building Dennig is in.
The book lands near you, its title is "A history of Clerics, the good and the bad." In the book there is a bookmark, one that does not look old, rather new actually.

Blank snaps to attention and jumps to his feet when the book hits the ground. Choking on dirt thrown into the air by the contact the book had against the alley floor, the nomad makes his way to the text and picks it up in his hands, admiring it and wondering why the world would ever need a History Of Clerics.

Probably just a study tool. Oh well.

His first thought is to see if Denning is mentioned anywhere in the book, but at that moment his eye catches on the bookmark and he quickly opens the book to read the selected page.

In summary, the chapter it is on is about a cleric from long ago, a cleric whos drive for power lead him agianst the council of clerics. This cleric deviesed how to raise the and shape their will, how to use light magic as a weapon instead of a tool. The cleric became the leader of the necromancers, and went against the council, because of numbers, the necromancers were put down, and their leader sent to another dimension. Nothing mentions the name, almost as if the writer was scared to write it down.
