The army passed by the Ruto Town Square, and that was when Nogare commanded for them to halt. "We are here, and the Village is still here. Get off your horses and come over here." He looked up after placing it down on the dirt road, and asked, "You name, sir?"

The man answered, "Holomurd, Sir Nogare."

"Good. Where did the bandits kill your wife?"

"Over here." He points at Ruto Highlands (r13) "Just south of here."

"Well, we will guard the south, then. But we must warn the people of Ruto that battle is near, instead of suprising them when the enemy comes... Holomurd, that will be your duty. You have done what you can. Go, now. And don't blurt it out; people will be afraid, and will scream. That will give the bandits the warning that we are near, and that will make them more aware of our presents. just quitely tell them, and shush them instantly.One scream will get the bandits over here within minutes. Now, I am unarmed other than my staff, so I will go to the armory, and Kasei and Alpha, you get some, too. Den... Cleric, you and Blank stay here; you have desent armor. You will guard the south end with thwe others. Everyone else, if you have very little money, then I only hope for the best... Archers, draw one bow, but on't knock it; When the bandits arive then it will be the time for the shooting and such. Melee fighter, hold your ground. I will be back. If they shall attack before I return, then you are in charge, Cleric."

He turned to Rotiart. "You shall stay with the army, and when we say, go to your father. Understand?"

"Yes, sir."

"Good lad.

"Now, if you must, I suggest you go to <a href="http://desertcolossus.com/adventures/vi ... 43">Gado's Armory</a>. Hurry."

And so Nogare left, and two or three knights came with him, and Rotiart stayed with the main group. You run the name Rotiart through your head... Rotiart...

Denning thinks as he hears the name.
"Simple, Traitor. But I should wait...I dont want everyone to know, ill wait for Nogare to get back, but Blank should know too."

Denning walks over to Blank, and wispers in his ear


"Rotiart, Traitor...all too easy."

Alpha disengages from the main group, annoyed at Nogare for ordering him around. Especially since he already has armor. Surprisingly, he spots Blank speaking with none other than Denning! 'Been some time since I saw him,' he thinks. He walks up to Denning and Blank, and gets close enough to hear Denning's interpretation of the name. "I was thinking the exact same thing, De...uh, Cleric," he whispers. "It's good to see you both again; it's been some time. Anyway, we should definitely keep an eye on this Rotiart."

kasei arrives on the scene to see a cleric wispering to some others, he sees nogare has already left, he rushes off to follow him...

Spying Alpha, he utters a wisper.
"Rotiart? Try it backwords, Traitor...keep an eye, or a blade on him."

Alpha gives Denning a bored look. "I know that," he says with a tone best suited for a big business tychoon whose just had some peasant come and tell him that he's rich. "Why do you think I said I was thinking the exact same thing?" He sighs, then raises his head with a chuckle. "Yes, it's certainly good to see you again...Cleric. After this whole fight thing is all said and done, I'd like to hear what you've been up to recently. For now, though..." He glances at Rotiart/Traitor. "I shall indeed keep my eyes on him."

"Good, well then, Nogare better hurry up, we need to go soon."


Denning orders all knights to conceal their weapons to avoid suspicion.

OOC: Hey, Marin, it's either your really quick or else you have the book 'The legend of Zelda, Shadow Pirince.' Smart. Those books are pricy. I got mine for $30.

IC: Nogare shorty returns with heavy chailmail over his robe. He looks to each of them. "Everyone. We are ready. Kasei will return shortyly; I haven't any main plans for him. I have heard Rumor of these bandits as I came; their leader is named Duelblade, and he has more than just 20 minions; that's just the number of Melee fights; the archers and mages are another story. We are outnumbered, but we should last. I pray that you are ready. Battle is at it's arrival.

"Okay, I will have to be separated into companies... Uh, Cleric, you will be the Mages and such. Alpha, if Denning falls, you take his place. Kasei, you shall be helping me with the melee fighters. Archers will be you in the back. I take that you are strong, Alpha, so I will let you be with the archers, as well. but you must do as they say, or else you shall fall. I will lead all of the companies, and, for the rest, depending upon which weapon you have, join the appropiate group. Now, in case they circle around the town, we must get seven of soldiers on each side; North, South, East, and west. Chose whichrever place you want. Any questions?

"Mages! With me!"

Denning takes his mages, and has all of them put on a cloak. They now appear as common travelers, led by a man in white.

Denning moves his compony to the side, and a little back, makinng sure they do not attack the knights, and have a clear shot at the enemys.

Denning pulls out his staff and gets to the front of the line.

OOC: any specifics you want me to know about the mages? If not, they will all use a fire spell.

And no, ive never heard of the book actually, just saw the name, and saw traitor.

OOC: Well, umm... There are about 2 or 3 mages in each end of Ruto... Well, let's say, out of 9 mages... well, they fight RP style, but for the three or four that mainly help you... I guess you could them have fire, but make sure that they only have eitehr have one other spell or no more at all. This fight will seem like we will lose. In fact, there is a big chance we may.

IC: Nogare looks behind him. "blast! Where's Kasei. Time is short; we will have to leave without him. Holomurd is not back yet, though..."

"We will have to leave no warning. It's too late..." said one soldier. And he was right. There were the bandits ahead. But there were only 10 of them...!! Damn! The rest were circeling around Ruto already. This was bad.

Nogare rolled his eyes. "Okay, they are too far to see us yet. Hurry behind something! Anything! Blank, head to east Ruto. I'll stay here in South. You knights over there, so the west. Denning is headed North. Hurry, but don't be seen. But the only thing that worries me is Kasei..." He turned to Rotirart. "Duelblade is your father, aye? You come with me. And all of you, remember to only charge when they are close enough to where you are; an ambush is what we are attemting. hurry!"

OOC: ok, everyone is fighting in a different place,and topic. The following are where you must go...
Denning, you go to The Goron District (it will be made by tomorrow; we're eating cake soon...) It will be called 'Battle for Ruto North
Blank, you go to The Goron District, but not the same one as Denning, 'Battle for Ruto east'
Alpha, you go with Denning
And Kasei, your coming with me to another topic in Town Square, 'Battle for Ruto South'.

Alpha laughs at the thought of Denning falling in battle. 'He beat me in that sparring match of ours; there's no way he'll need my help.' He stands tall at the order of being with the archers. "Sounds like a plan."

He takes out his Deku Slingshot as he walks to the rest of the distance attackers. "Alright everyone, get ready! Get at least five quivers of arrows ready, and find the highest ground you can. Position yourselves on cliffs, building roofs, balconies anywhere where you can have an unhindered view of the enemy. And make sure that you have some sort of cover. If you can, find someplace where you can gets shots off no matter which direction they come from. Now - move out!" He quickly turns and leads them as they charge off to the Goron District after Denning's mages.

OOC: OK, for this to continue, we need you, Blank, to post here. You need to hurry, since you are one of the captains...

kasei returns to the meeting, panting, oh! there you are, nogare,huff, ive been around, looking for you ....

"It is good that you came. Come! We must get to the South end of the Village! They will be coming from there!

Blank arrives, covered in wet sand, just returning from a "desert expedition." Spotting Nogare, he listens to the mission and nods solemnly, not bothering to mince words. He blurts out his acceptance and stalks off.

Not bothering to be briefed on additional information, the nomad disappears into the Caravan Quarter.
