Hello and welcome to the world of Hyrule and to Hyrule Adventures 2! To get you started, it is necessary you check out the Rules Set (click the book on the right edge of the page) and learn what you need to know about your character and the stats system. But before you do the math, you must pick your Class, Race, and Alignment.

When you registered you had the opportunity to do so, but that was a pretty open ended. Please note that your class initially must be either Grunt, Vagabond, or Scholar. You can check out the meaning of those names in the RUles Set, but I digress. Also, the available races are Hylian, Human, Fairy, Deku Scrub, Sheikah, Goron, and Zora. Finally, the possible alignments are Order, Neutral, and Chaos.

You can edit those now if you so choose by clicking the "Dossier" link at the top of this page.

Once you're all set there, head over to Town Square here at the Castle and check in at the Castle Hostel. There you can then create your character sheet following the template available. Check out everyone else's Sheets if you need some inspiration. Basically there you must be sure to keep a detailed record of your stats and talents, and it's also a great place to get creative and write a backstory for your character if you so choose.

Once your character sheet is created, place a link to it in your signature. It can be as simple as your name. Make sure to use the following linking code however, to make sure it wsorks as intended:
You can get the proper link for your profile by right clicking the page when youa re viewing your character sheet and selecting "Properties." The browser will give you the url of your sheet. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to PM the Narrator or Royal Guard.

It is important that you keep your stats and talents up to date. If you have any trouble, the members here are a great bunch and always willing to lend a hand and help you get started. Any questions can be asked here in the New Members section.

Castle Hostel, where is it exactly?

Click on Traveling within the Castle, then Town Square, then Traveler's Hostel, follow the link and you're in. Please post any other questions in the "Questions about HA2" thread.

Didn't really know where to put this, so... main page it is!

PLEASE!!! Do not send the items to the Narrator after you complete a quest. It makes it difficult to determine whether or not you have really completed the quest or not. The items will be removed by me or the Narrator. Thanks...

Go to the traveling within the castle thread, then to the Town Square, and from there you can get to the hostel.

where is the parapa desert, or even Lon Lon Ranch, for that matter, i just can't find them

The compass on the top of the screen moves you from screen to screen. If you look around you'll find topics that describe each location and what things are there. These questions should go to the newcomers page, please.

Jack the Goose, if you read the Rules Set (to the right of the window), you should have a better idea of how fighting in Hyrule works ^_^.

And Omni-Link, your signature should have a 3-digit number instead of "number of your profile's topic," and you put the name of your choice in the "character name" spot, accordingly. Also, it should start with "<a href" (no space between the < and the "a").

It strikes me that this would go very well in the New Members section. So, go it shall!

I type the link in my signature and nothing comes up. I also can't submit my editing on my profile anymore, and it happened after i typed in the link. Help please?

Hold on, Link's shadow. I'll look into this myself.

Edit: Alright, I think I've found the problem with your link. This is the code you've been using, LS: There're several errors in your programming, but I won't go into all that right now. In the Narrator's post at the top of this page, you'll see that you need to use this code: You left out several things, and as a result, the code is not being told to display anything at all, which is why you don't see a signature. Merely take the things in all caps and replace it with the correct information. Do NOT change anything else in the code, and it should work fine.

Oh, and by the way, the number of your profile's topic is not 258, it is...1339.

As for what's happening with your profile...I have no idea. You say it only stopped working after you added the link, so try changing the code and then let's see if it works. If it still doesn't, I'd suggest making a new profile, and we'll delete the first one.
