I set up a new tank and I am getting a couple of these gems.  They are called Blue Rams.  They die easily, but I think I am up to the challenge of keeping them.

how come they die easily? what do u have to do to kill em?

The water needs to have a certain chemistry for them to do well.  They are easily shocked by immediate changes in the chemistry of the water.  Have you ever heard of pH?
