Um, yeah, you're sort of wrong.  Anime is from Japan.  Wish it as much as you want, but Avatar:  The Last Airbender is not anime.

^ By that same logic, one could argue that if the staff that created Naruto were moved to, say, the moon, the show itself would no longer be considered anime.

But in all honesty, if that's all it takes for something to be considered anime, then it's kind of irrelevant to begin with.

My point was that anime isn't really a style; if that were true, Shin Chan wouldn't be anime, as it's drawn drastically different than any anime I have ever seen.
