Also, i dont know if this is in any other state, but in NY, if you fail, you need to start going to school an extra 30 minutes.

Ugh, marching band started today, 9 a.m to 1 p.m.  There is a silver lining though.  I am more than likely going to be a soloist this year.

your lucky!!!  we have it from 8 am til 4 pm. and i have no chance really of being a soloist... but i am a section leader and no longer a freshman!  ;D

I'm about to become a high school junior.  And today it's official.  I'm going to be a trumpet soloist for the song, On Broadway, in our very first halftime show.
