My view on it is that at the end of OoT link is brought back in time, to the point where gannon entered the sacred relm. By unhanding the master sword link closed the sacred relm, thus trapping gannon inside. This would lend itself to my theroy on the timeline that LttP comes  after MM in the timeline (even though maps arnt exactly the same). The age would be kinda right aswel, link ends MM at 10 years old, 6 years later hes teh 16 year old link in LttP... who apparently found his uncle  ???

found info on some ww characters!:
1.laruto could have been a relation to ruto due to the fact they are both zoras and sages.
2.fado could have been a kokiri but there was no signs of him in oot.
3.komali has a crush on medli! oh,no....
4.jabun(fish hiding on outset from ganon)could be related to lord jabu-jabu in oot!

ALttP is many generations after the Sealing War, which happened during OoT. It's not possible that it's the same Link in ALttP.

Well I've already made one good point and one joke around on the other topics (Kaepora Gaebora!? and Summat about Links Granny)  so I'll make what I believe to be another one. I believe that Fado is a decendant to Mido. If you watch the end of OoT at the party on Lon Lon Ranch then he and King Zora feel Left out as they watch the sages fly overhead. My theory is that these 2 become the ancestors of Fado and Laruto. I dont know why but there must be more evidence if you can be bovered to spend any time studying it.
