Why? Why would there Kokiri child-Hylian form be the true one? In fact, it appears they have even had another form.

Male Fado appeared about the same age as Link, and Link seemed to be 16 or something. Translate that to OOT art and we've got grown-up Hylian forms for the Kokiri. Very strange.

Anyway, I think the Kokiri have no real body, but adapt to what is best for their way of life.

Link is 12 in TWW. That's the only official age he's been given. Besides, I don't think he would have been treated like a child all the time if he was 16. :-\

Just who said he was 12? Besides, if I were an ancient fairy queen, I might be hitting on a 16-year old, but not on a 12-year old. That's just...wrong. And suppose Zelda and Maggie are his age (they seem to be), doesn't that make the comment about a child of Tetra and "big dude" (I forgot his name) a bit wrong too? Not to mention someone who seems "dig dude"'s age was 17. And a Moblin proposing to a 12-year old Hylian girl? Right. That again, is wrong.
Besides, what age should the other children be? Aryll is clearly a few years younger and the other children in the game are even younger than she is. But they don't seem 7-year olds to me. They are just a bit too mature for that.

Finally, if you're 16, you ARE a child.

Who says Moe is any older? Besides, Hyrule is a medieval world. 16-year-olds are NOT children (remember that Link's grandmother says that in the old times boys were finally considered to be men when they reached his age. In a medieval world like Zelda, especially when the game is made by Japanese people, 16 is a FAR too high age). Most girls gets pregnant already by 14 or 15. Some of them to guys who are in their 20s or even 30s.

Aryll definitely looks like she's 7, or something. However, she does share Link's blood. So it would only make sense if she's more mature than most kids her age.

And when it comes to romance Maggie acts more like a 12-year-old than a 16-year-old.

Well, tloz isn't really medieval. They have a great mail-system, are hygienic, can read and write, don't believe everything they hear, have lots of advanced mechanical devices. Their moral values also seem to be up to date compared with our world. I also like to point out that in most anime that have younger heroes, the heroes are 16.

Since when has blood something to do with maturity?

Yeah, Maggie is a bit of a strange case. But she is very well aware of who she is and what her position is. That she can't be selfish and go to Moe, because it would break her fathers heart. And like Mila, she's also very capable of coping with far from pleasant situations. I wouldn't estimate them to be 12.

I just have to add, to the age debate, that if Link had been 16 TWW wouldn't have been toon-shadet. That's official. According to Aonuma it's because he's a child the game is toon-shadet.

I don't get it? So just because of the chosen art, Link is 12(?). How come I don't see such a link between art and age?

Wait a minute.... In the TWW intro, didnt it says something, that boys will be considered as men, when they reach the same age as tHoT (The Hero Of Time). Probaly 10 or 12... i dunno. But if was 16 years old... Wouldnt he then be as an Adult? I dunno... I dunno...

Well, Rauru did say to OOT Link that he had to be older (16-18) to be the Hero. So it makes more sense that TWW Link is about that age according to the tradition.

But when Shigeru talked about TP, he said that this is the first time, we will see Link as a real Adult? So TP is the first game, which features the first real Adult Link.
