well i was wondering if tingle is gong to be in tp because my bro keeps asking me if tingles in the game and i said no well that's what i think any way and  he said well when ever you will be riding on your horse there will be a little red dot floting in the sky and an old green man hanging on it just like in mm and i got freaked out by that and my brother freakes me out more because when ever we're talking about tingle he always does the laugh that tingle does and it is so freaky it's like he does the real laugh (if you no what i meen ) .So is tingle in the game or not in game that's what i want to find out .So does any one no .

ok thanks but maby he is in it like in a pitchure cause in OoT when you look through a window at the castle when your young there is a pic of yoshi or mario so maby tingles in a pic or dsomething but i doupt it

No, Tingle is not in the game. In no way. However, there's a clown that's more disturbing than Tingle ever has been (for as far as he is disturbing). And there's a guy (Purlo I believe) that because of his hood looks a little like Tingle.

He's not. Purlo has references to Tingle in his design, but he's no Tingle.

Exactly! They started off designing Purlo as a realistic Tingle. Obviously, placing Tingle in Twilight Princess would throw off the entire feel of the game, so they merely used Tingle's real design for Purlo, an entirely different character.

I too don't like this group Tingle-bashing. It's cheap and shallow. Tingle is in many ways a great character, and no matter what, unique. Characters like that are part of the soul of games like TLOZ: a little nuts, a little weird/different (depends on the person playing); a representative of half the world of the game. One half exists out of the serious/mysterious part. But it's not Ganondorf/Vaati/random main villain, Link or Zelda who make TLOZ live. It are characters that scream: "I am Error", characters that want to eat fried eyeballs, a talking door/cabin, killer chickens and shopkeepers, sarcastic/bigmouth sidekicks, crazy fangirls and Tingle.

I'm normally fine with all that, I love all those characters... just not Tingle.
