Why is Link a bunny when you first go to the dark world?

Doesn't Link turn back to normal after taking one hit though?  The only way to die would be to have low health.

No, he stays a bunny until you die. he does however, transform back only when hes transformed by one of those moving things that comeout from under pota and stuff.

When Link is turned into a bunny by one of those flashing things, he turns back to normal after a while.  You don't have to die first.

Lets face it , links never been a "hollywood" hero, all explosions and witty one liners. e's a pretty timid fellow and generally quite young to boot. Not really surprised he was a bunny.
In TP he's got older and more edgy and broody.. thus hes a wolf.
