Why would you think that? I love Portal. I just get tired of people spewing the same tired lines from a game that came out in 2007 straight into 2011.

Seriously, Portal was funny, but it wasn't that funny, and not even remotely meme-worthy.

Portal 2 was the funniest game I've ever played, hands down. The "comedy" genre of gaming is one that has yet to be explored- but Valve is doing a fine job of pioneering it.

Comedy is a dangerous line to toe, especially in video games.  Luckily, Valve is full of geniuses.
