If two cousins marry it's hardly incest iin my opinion. Maybe today, but back in the Middle Ages it was normal. Especially amongst Royal/Noble Families. If the last Link in the timeline was to marry a Zelda lived hundreds of years before the next they would only be distant cousins.

And that is if the next is a direct descendant. We don't know that. I have a theory that all Links are related, but not directly. I believe all the Links can track their bloodline back to the first Link but not necassarily to each others.
