whoo boy first week of tests is done!

As for your question, via PM, Angel of Death, yes I'm suggesting that you combine all of those atributes into one ability. I get a very Devil May Cry vibe from your character and so I ran with the concept of a "super" version of you.

Now please feel free to tell me I'm wrong. Lets work on this together. What would you LIKE to be able to do. Think about that in a sence which doesn't require numbers.

Hi everyone... finally got the account/profile working and up ^^. As you can see, I updated his profile... with the +BP (social defect, sunlight defect, swarm skill modifier defect, extra +1 for humor), I upgraded the following:

1L Body (2BP)
2L Stealth (6BP)
1L Climbing (2BP)

Let me know if anything is amiss... I feel a bit rattled, myself, since I was using "notes" from like... three different pages in this topic, haha. And I'm still not positive on a few things, like tangle and swarm... but putting things up for "GM discretion" always helps... Have fun with that, Dylan XD.

OOC:I was to lazy to swich the profile for this post. Rebacca's sword is about the size of the mini-boss' sword in Arbitrator's ground and he pulls it out of no-where, thanks for the BP. Yes, no one can find out that he is the Angel of Death, not even the party, for now. I fix my abilites in my profile by the way. I also added this.

History of the Angel of Death: He doesn't remember his name, but he remembers some of his previous life. He had a love interest(he can't remember her name either). However, she was killed. He remembers going to the Great Fairy of Chaos for help and she said that he needed to collect souls. She gave him extreme strengh if he would give his own soul to her when he died. He killed as many people as possible, but he was eventaully caught. He was convicted to murder in Ikana and Hyrule. Now, his soul exists in Michael. The location of his body is currently unknown.

Pardon me, but would I be able to join? Or am I too late? And, if I am not too late, would someone be kind enough to explain this system to me in a nutshell? I'm not that good at reading long explinations of a certain system.

As far as I can tell, you're more than welcome to join now! ^^ Unfortunately, this is an entirely different system than the core Hyrule Adventures 2 rules set, and you'll have to create a brand new character. But don't despair; most of the information you need is on page 1 and 2 of this thread--after that, everyone'll help you out with balancing your character. Have a read--it's good for you, and good fun to boot.

Nathael Chasseur

Nathael's race is...hard to say, though most agree on Airnolfos. He knows that his mother was an Airealfos, and the father was some other being, most possibly a Dinolfos.

Nathael does not have much, as he doesn not need much. But he does keep with him his version of the"basics": 1. Pants, brown, ragged at the ends, and help up with a rope belt, as he does not want to be seen naked, unlike the others of either species, 2. Wing belt, used for keeping his wing under control, and 3. A deck of cards, used primarily for "Go Fish".

Expl: Knows the Thicket to the "t", since the Deku Tree provides him with information on where there are both Arealfos and Dinolfos. Also knows the Old Lighthouse quite well, though has not ventured there for some time.

Expl: Nathael is, in fact, a great cook, but his main skill is his sewing, which he uses to get some rupees.

What are...
-Blessings and Curses: It's hard to say. My new form is a blessing, though my horrifying visage is a curse. I guess that every blessing has a curse.

-Sins and Punsihments: Another hard question...A punishment may come from a good deed, and one man's sin is another man's justice.

-Chocolate and Vanilla: Hmm...The eternal question...If frozen, vanilla, hands down, but if we're talking dry, then chocolate, Nature's Medicine.

Most Proud of: Becoming a guardian on the island, as that meant that I was finally strong.

Least Proud of: Leaving my mother in that dungeon, all those years ago. (Sniff)

I'm brave so I may protect my friends. Plain and simple.

Long-term goal: Finding my mother, or finding out who my father is, cause I'm guessing he's a Dinolfos.

Short-term 1: Find a Dinolfos
2: Become a better tailor

Skills
Boomerang Axe: When thrown, Nathael's axe can return to him.
Flight: When in battle, Nathael can fly over his enemies.
Wing Swords: When unarmed, Nathael can use his bladed wings as swords, and can launch a "bullet" from the tips.
Visor: Can activate mask visor to protect eyes from attacks, sandstorms, snowstorms, and the like.
Air Tank: Can cover mouth for 3 hours of air. Needs to be recharged for duration of usage. MAX 3 hours.
Regeneration: Can heal self. Can also rgenerate other lost limbs, but at a high cost of MP and causes fatigue.
Ending Blow: Rams the bottom of his axe into enemy's chest.
Axe Bullet: Can launch a powerful, magical projectile from tip of axe.
Axe Flight: Can use axe as a hoverboard-like vehicle, but cannot ride himself.

Childhood

As was said before, Nathael's younger years were spent learning to fight the simplest of monsters, and the foolish youth, unequipped to handle the power of this hybrid, during which he was taught by his mother. One day he was fighting an actually good fighter, and was losing. Nathael was about to die at the hands of this adventurer, when he spied a green gem on the adventurer's belt. He had seen this gem before, several times actually. Those were all the same, but this one's glow was stronger. He reached over to get it, and just as he touched it, he was sent to an island, no dungeon in sight. It was here that Nathael discovered he had feathered wings, and red and black colored scales. He wandered around for some time, then was found by a group of heroes, who's main job was guarding the island. Nathael began training to become one of their members, which he did during his teenage years.

Teenage

Nathael became a member of the group of guardians a couple years after he came to the island. It was then that he got his axe, and when his life turned for the worse.
There where fires breaking out all over the island, and they had discovered who was causing them. A being, codenamed "Torch Spark", was using some kind of fireball bomb to cause the fires, and soon became the bane of Nathael's life. It was later that Nathael was surveying over the island when he met, and engaged in battle with, Torch Spark. They had faught for quite some time, at least two days, when Torch Spark fired his last fireball bomb, torching Nathael to horrible extremes.

Hyrule

Nathael had found out that he was far from his island, in a place called "Hyrule", and was horribly injured. His wings were just bone, his face scarred beyond all recognition, but he still had his axe. Nathael wandered for some tme, luckily being saved from monster attacks thank to his horrifying visage. A week later, he had fallen down a hole, which inside was a Great Faerie, who had healed him, but had changed parts of him, giving him three taloned fingers on each hand, and three clawed toes on both feet, changing his face into some form of mechanical mask, and gave him somewhat mechanical, bladed wings. Nathael has since became a traveler, hoping to find a new life here.

Nathael's axe is a two-sided axe, bladed tip, and a two bladed tip at the other end.

Today

Nathael heard the man preaching of the "Overman", when he thought, Another life, eh? That's a good one. What the heck, I'll humor the guy. Maybe this life'll be kind to me. He turned to the prophet and said, "I'll go with ya."

Ummm, shouldn't we tell you immediately instead? The story is good, so the next thing you'll need to do is stats. The Power, Wisdom, Courage idea sort of got scrapped. To see the new system, go through the thread and read anything by Zarathustra. It's a pretty simple set up. Zarathustra and the others will help you get it fine tuned after that. At this precise moment, stats aren't of the utmost importance, though I have a feeling they will be soon. To jump in on the story, head to Ruto town and find the thread called the Glasshouse. Hey there, Worru;

A few thoughts. One is that you may want to answer a few of the following questions from Nathael's point of view, just to help flesh out your Character's personality. Background, as Kelari/LiH mentioned, is great.
Some notes on character creation. Be able to answer the following questions:
Describe what at least 3 of the following mean to your character: Vices and Virtues, Blessings and Curses, Sins and punishment, Angels and Daemons, and most importantly, Chocolate or Vanilla. (Anyone who chooses vanilla can’t play! :Wink:
What are you most proud of? What are you least proud of? What three NON-COMBAT objects do you keep on your person at all times, and why?
Why is your character Brave? Cowardly? Strong? Weak? Wise? Foolish?
Describe one long term and two short term goals.
A few crunchy number-related notes: it looks like you've got your Combat/Defense values each one more than they should be (should be 4/2), since we're rounding down on the values. Also, go ahead and multiply your HP and MP values by 5, that was a change made after the first version as well.

For your skills, a few questions: for Area Knowledge, what Area, and why? Nathael appears to be rather new to Hyrule, and is just a traveler at that... what place does he know like the back of his hand? Domestic arts is a great addition, but I'm sure we're all curious: why domestic arts? Is he a smashing cook? Can he cook a rice pilaf like none other?

Last of all, you're encouraged to create some special abilities for Nathael. Have a look at any of the profiles above for some examples (Orpheous, Kelari, Isaac, Phalanx, Taarvan, and Veldacus are all characters from the new system). Can Nathael fly? That's definitely something you might want to list. Any special axe techniques? Magic? Let us know what you've got in store!

Hawk Gauntlet: Allows Hawk to launch one of three (3) hawks, arranged by color: Red: Explosive, shoots in straight path, Blue: Sentry, sends telepathic messages, Green: Guardian, protects Hawk or others.

Iceray Gauntlet: Specialized gauntlet, of unknown origin, that allows Hawk some Ice magic. Can launch Iceray or activate Ice Fire glove.

Sling: Used to attack enemies from afar. Has different sling shots.

Hawk Talon Daggers: Special daggers that are thrown.

Appearance: This teen has a lonely aura about him. His large eyes are the exact color of the evening sky. He has neck length, luxurious, straight hair the exact color of shadows. His physique is very sleek. He has a black mask, seems hand-made, with a long nose on it. He wears a green cloak, and wears black cloathing under it.

Backstory

The Hawk was born, and his earliest memories are only of the Elementalist. Hawk has had no parents, and has a dislike for them because of them. Hawk is a hero, and will help anyone, but, only if they too are good.

He was found in the Deku Forest, fighting off Mad Deku, when he was saved by the Elementalist. Hawk's training bagan when the Elementalist gave him his tools, which he has yet to remove (even for the shower :shock: ).

He has skill with weapons, but is horrible with hand to hand combat.

Talents

Iceray: Can send a freezing iceray to paralyze enemies.

Ice Fire Glove: Creates a glove that can launch freezing cold fire from the tips.

Green (Guardian) Hawk: Launches Green hawk to protect himself, and others.

Red (Explosive) Hawk: Launches an explosive hawk to attack enemies, or destroy obstacles.

Blue (Sentry) Hawk: Scouts out.

Sling Bullets: Different specialized Sling shots.

Hawk Flight: Uses Hawk Gauntlet to shoot forward at amazing speed. Usable for flight, but cannot control in air.

Owl Stone 1: Allows 360 vison.

Owl Stone 2: Clears mind.

Owl Stone 3: UNKNOWN.
