Argh! I missed! - the boy thought, glaring at the traitor from the side of the door. Well, if wasn't for the teenager's apparent concern and anger both boiling, mixing and bubbling inside his own self, he'd probably would've understood that the target at hand could not easily be defeated - Dogura Shadowclaw was a samurai, an oriental knight who trained under the Bushido arts, and was also a man well versed in the magical arts, who, apparently, could easily dispel an Elemental Burst of his. Not good. Seeing the man, his adversary, shocked Tayro. He was a Samurai! Where was all the honor and justice he learned of? Bushido was not only a battle-style, was a way of life! Was it forgotten already in this day and age...? If so, then his 'Continental Warfare' tome was certainly outdated. The tides were against him, but he would not falter, not in a crucial moment like this. Like Alpha said in their meeting, "It is up to those of us with no ties – the Neutral aligned – to form a third faction in this struggle. We have the same ideals – the innocent should be protected at all costs, for they cannot protect themselves – and the same goals – to protect them." He too, was one of these... and for quite a time thought the same of the samurai belonging to the same group. As a Twilight Guardian, he would do all at his reach to defend the innocents. It was the pledge he made as he joined the guild, and he would fulfill it - no matter the odds.

Noticing his fellow Twilight Guardians approach the door in which he stood could only mean one thing - they were definitely not apparent of the situation at hand. That would make things harder. While he journeyed through the Deku Woods, his thought was - mainly - only on how he would explain the event to his fellow guildmates. The Hylian thought of various long speeches with lots of adverbs and exclamations, some very fantastic, some plainly simple... nothing fit wit what he desired. He also didn't want the samurai to know that they knew... though it seemed the goddesses did not want that. It was just not written on the fate, as the murderer approached the wooden frame with the rest of the Twilight Guardians. Seeing no other options at the moment, the mage apprentice stepped back and carefully - yet with a certain air of grace to it - executed a perfect back-flip to gain distance from the doorway - this time, fortunately, not falling due to the intricate design of his garments - and readied his staff - a battle was definitely at hand. As his friends and foe approached the doorway, the youngster immediately shouted a simple, plain speech, that radically contained everything needed. "Everyone, watch out. The vicious samurai is a murderer of innocents!" - he yelled at his companions, pointing at the iron-clad samurai. Sure, they'd really get center stage, and that was undesirable... though they could easily defeat and tie up some guards in a tree... and that was preferable to being back-stabbed by a bloodthirsty samurai. "Dogura, what you have done is unforgivable! How could you murder those poor innocents?! How could you?!" - the boy desperately shouted, angered by every movement the Vagabond made. Every single breath he made was offensive... he was a bloody traitor, who wasn't afraid to silently assassinate them when they least expected. He was ready to fight - though unlike the barbarian's tastes, not to the death.

---

In the meanwhile, in another wooden table of the perfectly kept Stock Pot Inn, opposite to the table in which the Twilight Guardians were resting just a few moments ago, besides some plates with remains of food and glasses with what one could suspect to be the remnants of some drinkable liquid, a certain character looks up at the commotion starting. As one would look at it, the first noticeable sign was the quite long pointy hat, who was painted in various tones of purple, with the tip softly bent. As the person raised its head, more characteristics could be seen, namely the pale white face and pointy ears - sign of a Hylian - and her bright orange hair, messily trying to escape the confines of her hat. The softness of her skin was a sign of her youth, and according to it, she shouldn't be much older than sixteen or seventeen years old. Her deep purple eyes were also peculiar, as that colour was often associated to those of the Sheikan kin. Her soft red lips slowly curled into a gentle grin as the female looked at the wooden frame. "Hey guys, seems like something's happening there." - she spoke at the other people accompanying who could be considered the beautifully eccentric lady at the table.

Dogura's eyes widened. He looked around, and even glanced a second time at a few men nearby. The words struck the vagabond like a thousand daggers, dipped in the blood of his family and friends. He knew as well as everyone standing around him that he was the only samurai within a few miles of where they currently stood... "I-I" Dogura stammered, questions rattled his mind, thoughts ran at a higher speed than he himself could run. "What is the meaning of this Tayro?" The samurai's eyes softened, as he approached the boy... "I would never spill innocent blood! When was this tale of which you tell?" The vagabond seemed set on finding what in the name of Din the boy was accusing him of.

OOC: When the Demonn tempts him, he remembers nothing of the blood he spilt while he was under controll. What a predicament. :)

Alpha slowly pushes the door forward, only to have a confused look cross his features as two things happen simultaneously, each with contradicting feelings associated with them. First and foremost, he sees Tayro standing there before the doorway and allows a breath of relief flow through his body. He has been growing slightly worried about the young Hylian mage for some time now - no doubt is in the Sheikah's mind that his Hylian friend is more than capable of taking care of himself, but still . . . bad luck (if you believe in that stuff) can destroy even the most capable of fighters. Seeing the boy hale and hearty is quite good for the nerves.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, mixing fully with the relief to create the bitter and incredulous confusion that comes to overwhelm Alpha's senses, is Tayro's sudden cry of accusation. 'Say WHAT?!' the Sheikah can barely keep himself from yelling as the kid accuses Dogura - he's the only Samurai around that the Sheikah has seen around these parts, and Tayro's attitude towards Dogura, along with that Elemental Burst that appears to have probably originated from the Hylian as well, are more than enough to show who the finger's pointing to. But what was this about murdering innocents?

The boy's next words confirm his suspicions about who Tayro is accusing, but it becomes even less sensible as time goes on. Dogura's response to it also strikes him as serious - the Sheikah's seen through some impressive acting in his time, and Dogura would have to be topping it all if he had truly done what Tayro was talking about. But no, it wasn't possible for Dogura to be lying - Alpha would have known in an instant. 'My scar remains dormant . . . therefore unless Dogura is a more powerful sorcerer than even He was, and can overcome His curse upon me, there's no way he did what he's being accused of . . .' And yet, by the same fact he knows that Tayro is completely serious as well. He really believes Dogura to be a cold blooded killer.

But this little quarrel, the Sheikah realizes abruptly, isn't the most pressing matter. It will take a lot of time to convince both parties of the truth - whatever that may be . . . - and in the meantime they'll be attracting more attention than they can afford at the moment. "Tayro, whatever you're talking about, let's at least move this outside the city first . . ." he says softly, loud enough for all members the group but scant others to hear as he glances around at the growing amount of attention being thrown in their directions.

Oh dear...

So Tayro thinks Dogura isn't in line with the motives of the guild...

Dogura has no idea what's going on...

Dogura had always been an odd specimen as perceived by Blank. The samurai could very well have been telling the truth. In all the time Blank had known him, Dogura had been an enigmatic, telepathic wonder whose mysteries seemed undieing. Was it probable that maybe there was a demon controlling him at times such as the incident Tayro was speaking of? Well, yes, it was very probable. But Blank would not be creative enough to wonder something like that. He took action rather than thought.

"Listen, you two!" he shouted, jumping between the ranger and mage. "Exciting as it is that we have some inner-guild conflict, this is going to have to wait. Obviously this dispute can't be settled here. Please, I'm begging you both, sit down and keep your voices lower. Worry about it when we reach our final destination!" The Hylian's arms lowered, and he looked into Tayro's eyes and nodded. "Tayro, if you don't want to trust Dogura, that's fine. But let's resolve that when we're out of Royalty's territory, alright?" spoke the nomad as kindly as the dire confrontation could allow.

------------------------------------

The Deku's mniscule ears twicthed tentatively under the leafy mat on the top of his head. He removed the leather cap and scratched his itching scalp furiously, sending a shower of microscopic insects hurtling away from his little wooden fingers. He replaced the cap on his head and let out a low complaint. The leafy mess of what served as a Deku's hair hung lazily over his round forehead and eyes, creating that certain look of obvious lack of trustworthiness. He rested his round chin - which, like with most Dekus, was not really a chin as much as the rest of the ball that is the head - on his palms, which were gloved with the same leather material as the cap, and with holes cut to allow fingers to be free from the actual glove.

He let out a warped Deku sigh from the snout-like opening that was his mouth. Some group was disturbing his meal, which tasted bland due to the insects he had unknowingly scratched off his head and into the dish. It was no great loss, but when his fellow guild member spoke, he looked up to see the familiar pointed hat. Witch, he thought with a small chuckle. Jokingly, of course. This most devious of Dekus respected his allies to the fullest esteem. "Ay, wouldn't it not be a good fun time to mess with 'em a li'l? Y'know, like that last group what tried to be a real guild like we is?" His atrocious speaking habits suggested that this Deku, while intelligent in thought, had never really learned to speak properly.

Rose's hand moved away from her sword, but she was still confused. The young mage was accusing Dogura of murdering innocent people, but the samurai was denying what Tayro said. Only one of them could be telling the truth, but she couldn't tell which one. "Look, I don't know who is lying, but we need to do as Alpha said," she commented, walking outside and past Tayro. She stopped and turned around, and continued speaking. "Perhaps we can find a private spot in the forest?"

--------------------------------------------------------

When she was done eating, the woman took out the band that was holding her hair into a ponytail and slipped it onto her wrist while spreading her hair out some. Her brilliant purple hair went halfway down her back, and it clashed with her outfit. Said outfit consisted of a dull green tunic with a dark brown vest over it. Her boots were of Sheikah make, and the purple clashed with the tan of her trousers just as her hair clashed with her tunic and vest. One of her gloves was brown and the other was black. Luckily she was a Sheikah, so she could hide her more conspicuous features when she went out thieving, and this certainly didn’t just apply to her hair and boots.

Her red eyes darted over to the group of people her young companion pointed out. The first thing Hyneria noticed was the woman's sword. Foreign make, she thought. Definitely forged by Gorons; they can never resist leaving their mark on their work, no matter how small that mark is. Quite remarkable how small they can make it, given the size of their fingers, but not small enough for me. Either way, it's a sign of quality. That woman could've had it passed down to her and own it for years, but her sword won't be showing any signs of wear quite yet. Then her eyes noticed the knife in the sheath just above the sword. Must be a dual wielder. If not, I could teach her. Knife looks foreign as well, but not Goron make. I'd steal them if I didn't already have good blades of my own. Then she eyed the bow and quiver, and next to those, a long, thin case. More foreign weaponry, though the arrows are from the Golden Quiver. I’m guessing she’s not from Hyrule. Perhaps Calatia? And what's in that case? More weapons? And there’s this air around her. I can’t place my finger on it, but my guts tell me she’s unique, and twenty years have taught me to listen to my gut.

She stood up, glancing at the Deku while stretching. She was only four feet and ten inches, but for her line of work it was an asset. “Let’s not mess around with them yet, my wooden friend,” Hyneria said low enough for only her friends to hear; her voice was a curious mixture of masculine and feminine tones. “They seem to be leaving. I say we follow them and check them out. At least one of their number perks my interest, and I would like to know exactly why. Maybe once I know, we can raise hell for them.”

~The hylian sat at a table in the opposite corner of the stock pot inn. He was idly drumming his fingers on the table staring at the long fissure that was making its way across the table. It was suprising how easily that could occupy the young ranger. Hmmm, looks like it'll break any day now...

The hylian wasn't exactly there on buisness. In fact, Pyre had already pushed through a long days work, and planned on spending the rest of the day relaxing. At least that's what he planned until he casually looked up and saw Alpha across the room. Usually, he would have called out a greeting, but once he noticed the other familiar faces sitting around him, he kept his mouth shut.

Instead, he reached for the plumed hat hanging on his head, and pulled it down over his face. Pyralin could barely see under the large brim, but it was enough to observe the going-ons at the meeting.

Pyre wasn't exactly sure what was going on. The assortment of travellers didn't seem immidiately out of place, but that many people he knew? That couldn't be a coincident. It was indeed possible that they were all friends, but it seemed unlikely. So a meeting then? But about what. The hylian was about to argue further with himself, before he reliezed, it would be easier to simply observe what was going on and find out for himself.

The ranger concentrated on every little sound that passed his long pointed ears. He only heard a few disjointed words, and they didn't seem to all come from the table, but he didn't dismiss any of them. Well most of them.... Some of them....

"GET ME ANOTHER BEER.... come a little closer.... mess with 'em... closer... I WANT MY BEER.... CLOSER.... be a real guild... Dogura..... murderer.... get back wh***e... hylian ale please..."

It didn't make much since, but some of the words clicked. Particularly Dogura and murderer is such close proximity. Pyre watched Alpha rise and followed him across the room with his eyes. He quickly saw Tayro and Dogura. Too many familiar people to be a coincidence.

The hylian's curiousity burned. He wanted to know what was going on. But he didn't leave his secluded seat, and instead of announcing his presence, and walking over to Alpha, he continued to watch under the brim of his hat. Patience would be key. Pyralin figured, if he waited, the answers would come in time.~

-------

~Meanwhile, a man stood even deeper in shadows. At the time he was standing on the otherside of a doorway, looking into the room, watching Alpha and company carefully, but the next he could be in another spot, just as vigilant. He could see his other companions sitting at another table. Hyneria was there, as was the others, but he didn't want risk coming into the open. Besides they could be annoying at the best of times. The shadowdy man shrunk deeper into the shadows. Yes, best to remain hidden.~

Dogura stood accused of meaningless murder. He didn't quite know how to defend against the accusations. "Tayro! I'm your friend! Why would you accuse me of such things? You know I would never kill for the sport of it!" It was then that Blank stepped between the two in attempts to stop the quarrel. Dogura could do nothing but stand there looking like a total moron. He was utterly confused. He knew not Tayro's motives... But he knew something was wrong.

How quaint... Little kids arguing about who done what...He eyed Dogura. I've seen that guy before. He looked him over, leaning against the wall of the Inn. His overcoat covered his entire body, all except for his eyes, and the top part of his nose. A pair sun-glasses sat on his nose, and his hair was a dark red, which stood up on his head. His sleeves ran buttoned down his arm, and hung far past his hands. His overcoat had a starp that ran across his chest, and stopped at his wasit, meeting with his belt. The coat stopped at his ankles, and he wore no shoes. A gigantic sword was slung across his back, and it seemed supernatural that he could even carry it. It lacked a sheath, and rather hung out in full few.

"Hehehe.... Get a load of these guys." The man said, nudging his small wooden friend. "And whats this? A little lady! She's a cutie..." He looked Rose up and down, and then sneered. "I think I found you a new girlfriend Hyneria... Har Har Har Har!!" He knew he was gonna get it from her, but he didn't care. He was in a good mood, and could take her harsh words, and possible bruises. Then, his attitude turned serious as he looked back to Dogura. "Hey... Any of you ever seen that samurai before?" He couldn't help but feel he had met him somewhere before. He couldn't shake the notion either. He awaited a responce from his comrades, all the while thinking back as far as he could, searching all of his memory banks...

This was unbelievable. Now that man, no... that beast was denying his actions? So now, on top of a cold-blooded killer, he was also a great liar. Oh no, there was no such possibility that his eyes had deceived him - he saw it clearly as water, as the samurai's sword trespassed the knights' armor and flesh, rendering them dead on the floor. They were plainly doing their jobs - they were just puppets commandeered by the Royal Family! They were not conscious of their acts and were the innocent pawns in the middle of this! The more he thought of this, the more the Vagabond's actions sickened him. A so-called protector of justice and innocents, a friend... was all he said just a bunch of lies as well? "Oh! So you dare deny it! Well then, let me refresh your memory!" - he spoke once again, staff already positioned for another spell to come past. That is, until the remaining members of the Twilight Guardians intervened. Although he knew their reasoning was true, he also was, irrationally, annoyed at them. How can they not see that this must be settled now before he kills others?! They weren't there! They didn't see that horrific sight! - he scolded mentally. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. he really needed to calm down from this whole situation. At this rate, that felony was just getting what he wanted - confusion. "Fine." - he told them, sounding purposedly unhappy. - "You first." - he added, looking towards Dogura.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - -[~]- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

The so-called 'witch', as nicknamed by her Deku partner, turned towards the leafy character. Her unusual purple eyes once again examined him, taking well notice of his wooden face, leafy body... and bugs all over. Her lips gently curved down - a sign of disgust. Getting up gently, and letting her hand go towards the chair she was sitting just now, she added a few distance between herself and the Deku. It seemed she was not too fond of insects. After this small ritual, she was about to reply to his sentence, when Hyneria had to cut in. Sulking, she just crossed her arms and leaned her chair back a bit. Spoilsports. - she thought, glancing at her guardian. She crossed her legs - a difficult skill considering the long vest she was wearing. Like her hat, it too was inked in a plenitude of tones of purple, and with a few satin lines of a lighter tone stitched on top of it.

She grinned smoothly when her guildmate mocked Hyneria, though she didn't let that trespass to the others. Being a vengeful type of person, she considered that to be the guardian's punishment. Looking interested with whom he had paired her with, her purple eyes skipped towards that little meeting that was occurring outside. Her eyes instantly met with the woman in question. Black hair, casual fighter's clothes. Who does that lady think she is, going up with such a serious attitude? Some people just need to learn how to relax. - she thought, arching her eyebrow. Upon the next referral, she looked at the samurai in question - the was the only one in such a ridiculous outfit, so it wasn't too hard to discern whom he was. "Oh, it's one of those old-styled people. I wonder if he knows what is a castle?" - she mocked, raising her hand to her mouth as she giggled slightly. Then finally she set eyes on the young one of the group. She examined Tayro closer, the staff he was holding, the exact battle stance he was using. "Oh my! That little kid over there is such a hottie! And looking so cute in a mage outfit, too! I wonder what spells that young guy knows?" - she inquired, not really hoping for an answer.

She adjusted her hat, letting her hair cascade down. Evaluating, it was about hip-high, and with a slight 'U'-shaped curve at the end. She looked around the table - and out of the table, for those who were already up - looking towards her companions... do nothing. Annoyed, she got up, looking at all of her guildmates. "I agree with Leaf-face here. Just standing here is boring, so let's go out there and cause some more mayhem. How things seem to be with those guys, it probably won't be too hard." - she spoke - "Come on!"

Alpha heaves a sigh as his shoulders slump. Things are still heating up, but at least Tayro's started listening to reason. There's no doubt in the Sheikah's mind that Dogura will also be more than happy to take this to a different area, and Alpha feels the exact same way. Just coming to as populated an area as Rauru was something he normally preferred avoiding; being the center of attention made him want to get out of this situation that much more. "Alright then," he says, somehow managing to keep his voice calm and without nervousness. "Dogura, if you would be so kind as to lead us out of here? Preferably quickly?"

'Well, I don't sense any Hakiems . . . yet . . .'

------------------------------------

As the others had been speaking amongst themselves about the commotion going on outside, one member of the group remains totally silent and uninterested, calmly chewing away at some crunchy potato chips and sipping from a jugful of water. Throughout the entire discussion and argument about who should do what and when they should do it and how various members of their group interested various members of his, his eyes are closed and his seat leaned back on two legs while his own legs rest on another chair he'd dragged over from an adjoining table when they'd first entered the inn.

But now they were talking about leaving this fine service and going after them, to actually check them out. With a sigh, the Zora jugs down another couple mouthfuls of water, wipes his mouth off with his dirtied white shirt, and lets his chair legs sit back down on all fours. Cracking his eyes open, he shakes his head and exhales with more than just a touch of annoyance carried along with his breath. "Why do you all have to always poke your nose into other people's business?" he croaks, letting loose a soft burp after beating his chest a few times to let loose some trapped air. "Pardon me," he says with a relatively large amount of decorum for his, evidence of his now long since passed time training as a Cleric in the Temple of Nayru.

"I mean, seriously, you guys are just way too noisy. What's the point of barging into their mess? Look here: they've got one Hylian kid saying that another, a half-Hylian half-Sheikah, is a cold blooded murderer who killed several men on the way to this meeting. Then there's that Human Ranger that caught Hyneria's eye, a Zoran ranger who's standing off to the side and watching, and the Hylian Nomad that's struggling to understand exactly what's going on here - and each of those last three are exuding so much nervousness that it's driving me mad. The only one even remotely interesting is that Sheikah guy who seems to be the leader of them - he's doing a much better job of concealing his desire to just get out of the area." He pauses, putting his keen observational skills to rest with a lazy roll of his eyes, which linger for an additional half a moment on the form of Pyralin, the only other adventurer he's noticed thus far in the area taking note of those people's trouble. "So you see," he finishes with a yawn, "there's really nothing worth our time when it comes to those guys.

"And besides, they've got these awesome nachos here that are simply to die for, so count me out of this foolishness. You're all lucky I can Resurrect you guys once you go, piss them all off, and start a battle that will, quite frankly, be far too boring for my tastes." Harsh as his words might seem, they actually show a surprising amount of confidence in his own team - normally he wouldn't have even said he thought them brave enough to issue a challenge to the Twilight Guardians.

Rose stood there, staring at Tayro as he asked Dogura to explain what had happened. Her gaze turned to Dogura, but it quickly turned to Alpha as he told him to lead the way away from the Stock Pot Inn. For the third time in as many seconds, her sight is redirected, this time with an expectant look at Dogura, waiting for him to show the way away from Rauru.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Hyneria glanced over at her fellow guild member. "Jealous that I can get more action than you can?" she asked in scathing tones. When he pointed the samurai and asked if anyone had ever seen him before, she only shook her head.

And then her charge spoke up, voicing her wish to do as “Leaf-face” wanted. The Sheikah scowled; of course Mythril wasn’t going to listen to her. The Hylian might enjoy the services of the Sheikah, but Hyneria was not all pleased watching over this spoiled brat. As far as the thief was concerned, it was nothing but torture for her.

A year ago, she would have casually followed them out, and melded into the shadows at the first opportunity she got. She would’ve followed them and found out what she wanted to find out. But a year ago, she had been approached by Mythril, her family, and her older sister in a wheelchair. There had been an accident, and her sister had been paralyzed from the waist down. She had flat out refused to serve in place of Revina. She had just escaped her family two years previously, and she had no intention to be near aristocratic snobs again, unless she was stealing from them. Of course, she did not mention this to them, for she had stole from both families. Although, Hyneria had no choice in the matter of Mythril’s guardian. Before she could have done anything, she was magically bonded to the young Hylian, forced to do what she wanted when she wanted.

Hyneria could’ve blamed her charge for the current mess the Sheikah was in. However, that would have been a foolish thing to do. Instead, she shot a dirty look over at the Deku. “You should’ve kept your mouth shut, Leaf-face,” the Sheikah growls, adding extra venom into Mythril’s nickname for the being of wood.

And then the cleric of the group spoke up. The thief highly doubted that Mythril will listen to him, but it was a better chance than the Hylian listening to her guardian. Although the Sheikah wished that the cleric had shared her gut instinct and decided to persuade Mythril otherwise, the Hylian had a strong will. She was going to get her way, even if her fellow guild members didn’t want it.

"I don't like seeing people get hurt for no reason. That's why I joined the Tarm Army. To protect the people of Holodrum. Nobility, commoners, human, Hylian, Goron, Deku, man, woman, young, and old. It doesn't matter as long as I'm able to protect them."-- Rose Hillmound

Dogura stood acused. However, he agreed with Alpha in the fact that they should move this away from Rauru. Dogura pointed in a South-Eastern direction. "There's an abandoned construction site over there. Nobody should be there... It would be best to move this accusation there." Dogura glared at Tayro. What is it that he's trying to pull? Is he trying to get me kicked out of the guild? And what are his motives? The samurai nodded to Alpha, and lead the group over to the abandoned construction site.
