IC: Seth debated whether or not to stick one of the water proof fire works in the punch bowl- he'd been saving that one for a while now, and this was an opportunity he wasn't going to miss. How to get it in there though, without anyone noticing? He could throw it after he lit the fuse, but someone was bound to grab it as it flew through the air. A large quantity of them were going to be set off right in the middle of the dance floor, sure to cause mass panicking and confusion. A mischievious little smile played on his face until he realized he hadn't been guarding his thoughts at all, and any of the telepaths in the room, especially Sovelis, was sure to have heard him. Seth didn't think that Mathais would care- he'd probably ask Seth to set one of right next to Sovelis. The Tempest was another matter though and would most likely confiscate them from his energetic student if he had been paying attention.

Ooc: thanks, arrika chan, it looks close to what I imagined. Please forgive me if my post is unoriginal and you find yourself nodding off to sleep...I took a freakin' 5 hour test today, and my brain feels like mush. (will explain later, Arrika.)

IC: Zeze sauntered around the room, nodding at one person or another. She scratched her head, finding nothing really interesting to do with her time. Suddenly, her path led to Seth. She beamed, and waved at the green haired kid,

"Heeeeyyy Seth, what's up?"

She examined his rather mischievous face - one that she wasn't so unfamiliar to herself . Zeze raised her eyebrows,

"What's that?"

"Nothing," Seth said defensively, backing away and hoping she wouldn't follow.

"Hey, Zeze!" Arrika called, diverting Zeze's attention to Seth's relief. "Doesn't Sakiko look like she's having a great time?" She started laughing again, Telma giving her a concerned look.

"You want something to calm you down, love?" Telma offered.

"Nah, the party just started. I want to stay sober for at least the first half," Arrika said with a smile.

OC: Your "explanation" didn't really help...

"Oh my, it's lovely!" Shada says happily as she takes the flower from Kobas, not unwittingly contradicting his compliment as she runs her left hand through her large braids, trying to think of the best place to weave the flower into her hair. She finally threads the stem right above her heart, pressing her hand against the same area as if to appear flustered by the newcomer's words. Not even looking back at Mathais, she gives a slightly exaggerated bow towards Kobas and utters another seductive giggle. "Th-thank you so much!

"I was just headed over to the bar," she stutters out, trying her best to sound giddy as she stares at the man. "Would you like to join me?"

ooc: My explanation was helpful enough so that you'd get the idea.

IC: Zeze turned, and yelled back,

"More fun than I'm havin' - now that's saying something!"

She trotted back to Masakazu, and whispered,

"Go on, ask someone to dance!"

Masakazu stepped back, his green eyes wide with shock and fear.

"What..?!"

SIghing, he realized that he should, as he was being an anti social at this moment. He trudged towards Arrika, and muttered,

"Would you like to dance?"

Saber collapsed into the chair with Sheila's help gratefully. "I'm fine, don't worry about it. Just...Just a bit dizzy, that's all. Comes and goes." He lied with a slightly cracking voice, trying to give a confident smile from his awkward position. "I don't need anything to drink anyways, I'm fine. You should sit though. It must have been a long walk here." He suggested, trying to get the conversation onto a more comfortable subject.

OOC: Still don't get reply e-mails, ya know.... TELL ME ABOUT THESE THINGS!!!

IC: Shiek smiled as Arrika apparently turned him down, for now. He would have plenty of chances. In the meantime, he snuck away, and grabbed Malon to dance. Aria, also, was having dance issues, she had gone through four different men in the last five minuets, none of them at all good on their feet. This was when she spotted Seth. Hopefull, she spun over to him, and not even giving a warning, she grabbed him by the hand and pulled him out onto the dance floor.

Saber did not seem to be free of fangirls either; Princess Ruto had spotted him already.

OOC: Will edit in five minuets..

OoC: I thought Sheik asked Sakiko to dance?

IC: The fireworks in Seth's jacket almost fell out as Aria dragged him away with a surprising strength that didn't seem to match her sweet, pretty name. When you think of the name Aria, you usually imagine a quiet, soft-spoken, polite girl with a beautiful singing voice and an ear for music. Aria didn't seem to match the description at all as she swung Seth roughly on the dance floor. He inwardly sighed, knowing the moment would only last for about 5 minutes. He might as well enjoy it to his fullest.

Under his sullen attitude Seth actually had a great sense of beat and rhythm and led Aria on a complicated quickstep, spinning Aria quickly yet gracefully so she wouldn't get dizzy.

"I'd consider it a crime if I didn't," Kobas said, tipping his hat to her and extending a hand. He tilted his head to the side, admiring the rose in her hair. After a moment's consideration he reached out a hand to touch the flower gently, which then shimmered and changed into a color that perfectly complemented the flattering clothes Shada was wearing.

ooc: ouch, that hurt. *heart bleeds* lol jk

and Masa asks arrika to dance

IC: Zeze sighed, and perched on a table, scanning the party. She smiled as she saw Seth being dragged away. She winked at him, and mouthed, "Don't blow it." The bard chuckled, wondering if she was like that when she was a young teenager. It was strange, how five years could blot out memories.

Masakazu shuffled his feet, taking Arrika's silence as a rejection. Slumping on a nearby chair, he sighed heavily. Wasn't he good looking enough? What was up with all these rejections? Laido sat beside him, and muttered, "Troubles, bro?" The mage looked away from Laido, and growled inaudibly.

OOC: Shiek did, but got no reply. Don't worry, he'll get many more chances.....

IC: Aria smiled brightly, and led Seth in a dance that one would expect a sophisticated young woman to know. Aria, though quite strong, was gentle. She smiled as she led Seth through the dance.

Shiek seemed to smile under his mask, looking at Sakiko (oops, my bad in my earlier post) he knew she would come to him eventually. He, who was the best man at the party, other than Chuck Norris.

Worru stopped dancing, but only for a moment, as he had a look on his face, that clearly meant the boy had an idea. With a grin on his face, he began to dance a dance that few people in the room would know of, and only if they had been to a certain Forum, to witness a few certain words, which lead one to view things that people should never see. And to make things even better, he began to sing,still grinning like a maniac.

Arrika laughed as Seth seemed to be enjoying himself, then just stopped and stared at Worru before cracking up even more, her fist banging on the bar table with her head in his arms.

What do girls want to talk about? Seth asked himself, puzzled as he danced with Aria. He switched to a waltz style mode, one hand on her side and the other gripping hers, which was much softer and delicate. At that moment Seth wished his hands weren't so rough or scarred- he even tried to recall how many times he'd scoured his hands before coming to the party. He gulped as he started to realize how vibrant and pretty Kasei's granddaughter was that night... then he started hoping his hands weren't sweating, because he was growing more nervous with every passing second.

"So. Um... Aria, right...? That's a... that's a really pretty name...." He said awkwardly.

As Aureliano walked in the warmth of the building, he was impacted by a cheery atmosphere created by those in the party. He had read the sign Kasei left and decided it would be good idea to stop over and relax for once. Aureliano III was left to a local sitter with great ratings, and Aureliano had no burdens other than a young man in tight clothing the corner obviously flirting with Sakiko.

Aureliano immediately went for a mug, and drained it, letting it's earthy taste slide down his throat. "Hello everybody!"

IC: Masakazu raised his eyebrows at Worru, who had thought of the boy as a quiet young man. He turned his head away from the disturbing sight - and sound - and took another sip of wine. He was about to go for another, when he saw Aureliano approaching. He nodded his head, and looked away, a bit uncomfortable. Zeze, however, bounced up and down, yelling,

"Hey, who do we have here?? Aurel, buddy, welcoommmeee!!!"

Sakiko turned her head, at the mention of Aureliano's name. She smiled, and waved, and hiccuped - simultaneously. Unaware of Shiek entirely, she stumbled towards Aureliano and gave him a bear hug.

"H...Hey! I thought you'd never show up!"

Zeze whooped once more, and grabbed Laido. She shouted "I'm tired of sittin' around, let's dance!!" Grabbing the poor man's wrist roughly, they fell into a complicated dance, twirling each other smoothly.

Shada feels a slight rush as Kobas reaches out to where the flower sits, and her hand, still resting on her breast, tingles as her heart beats a slight bit faster. She blinks her eyes in surprise at this; maybe that wine was a bit more potent than she'd originally thought. Her mind starts wondering if she might have a low tolerance level, like Sakiko - which is actually the case, due to the fact that she hardly ever drinks herself - but once Sakiko's name pops into her head her eyes instantly seek out the beautiful, though shy, mage. Even as Kobas' hand magical alters the flower's color to one that matches her Christmas-y attire well, the sight of Sakiko leaping onto Aureliano stretches her lips out as far as they can go.

'Oh-ho, so . . . is that her boyfriend? Alright! I guess I won't have to play matchmaker for the girl!' Still, she makes a note to herself to grab a few cups of beer rather than wine, planning to share a glass with Sakiko again and the guy - "Aurel", if that other friend of Arrika and Sakiko's was correct - at her earliest convenience. But for now . . . her eyes dart back to Kobas, cheeks blushing slightly into a gorgeous rose color as she realizes that she's kept the man waiting for an extra second. She catches sight of the new color of her flower for the first time, her pupils widening in surprise. "Wow! H-how did you do that?" she asks, not even having to fake her surprise this time around.

Not content to wait for a response - [dramatic-thought] not when Sakiko's love life could very well be altered forever by her actions in the next few minutes! [/dramatic-thought] - she slips her arm into Kobas' elbow and leans up against him as they walk towards the bar (OOC: Slight god-mod, hope you don't mind).
