I'm going for Grenada as well. (Aside)--Shiva was a really memorable character last time. Master Goron makes very neat characters.

Since you disagree, Alpha, I'll change by vote to Master Goron. It was a tie with you and him for me anyway. And you might win next month.

Narrator, can you change my vote?

I would nominate Alpha. He may have only been here for a few days, however he does RP pretty good and I sorta like his story.

I'm going to nominate Alpha. I quite don't understand his story line, but on how he writes, it's like he is what he is in the game. (And for you know don't have a clue on what I'm saying, Alpha sounds like he is really Alpha from the game. Like he is , in real life, is what he is in the game.) So yeah I vote for Alpha....I just spent two minutes saying the same thing over again.

I like what you did Weien. Links to threads is genious.

And Weien, I don't know if either thought is a plus, since I wouldn't want people to think of me as dull and wordless, yet I would want the RP'ing to feel completely natural.
Thanks, Grenada. But I think my point is basically... common sense. Basically a character so engaging that you're forgetting that there's someone behind the character--maybe just the character writing about himself (as Malciore was putting it)! But, I think I can say that I can see where Grenada and Shiva overlap in terms of... Master Goron Flair, if I may be so bold. *grin*
I would say Weien/Arco, but I've noticed that he got it last month.
"In that case," says Weien gloomily, "We might as well put up a rule where you can't win twice in a row." ^__^ No harm done. Thanks anyway, haha.
P.S. - And Weien, after all the talks we’ve had, I'd say you're anything but dull and wordless.
*pounds fist into palm of other hand dramatically* Rats. Ohwell... I guess Korind matched my "normal" (heh) personality better (he was easier to play, anyway ^^).
Narrator, can you change my vote?
Not sure what Narrator thinks, Julian, but I'm pretty sure you can change your vote... don't think there's a rule against it. But right now it seems that we're just nominating people to vote for; the actual voting may take place in a few days, or something like that (unless all the nominations very obviously all go to one person).
I quite don't understand his story line, but on how he writes, it's like he is what he is in the game. (And for you know don't have a clue on what I'm saying, Alpha sounds like he is really Alpha from the game. Like he is , in real life, is what he is in the game.)
Might I try to paraphrase for you? ^^ "I feel that Alpha's style and mood of writing very closely matches his character's personality and mannerisms, so that when I try to imagine Alpha the writer, the image I see is of someone with a glowing scar in a dark, hooded cape." Right? :D

Actually, Weien, I quite agree with that. There should be some rules about who you can and can't vote for. I don't think you should get it for at least a month or two after you win the award. I also don't think you should be qualified if you haven't been on for at least, oh, say at least two of the weeks in said month.

Don't get me wrong, Arco's great. He's really a believable character (that's why I'd pick you first). But the fact is that I've figured out from our PM's that you actually can talk! Or maybe you're just like me, and can only speak well while on the computer.
I quite don't understand his story line, but on how he writes, it's like he is what he is in the game. (And for you know don't have a clue on what I'm saying, Alpha sounds like he is really Alpha from the game. Like he is , in real life, is what he is in the game.)
Good! You aren't supposed to understand the story line yet! Never fear, though, I actually do have a story line already worked out, and shall continue revealing bits and pieces of the puzzle as time goes on.
And actually, I'm really not that mysterious in real life, I just like to be alone and on the computer. In fact, I have a very tough time socially, as my speech is really quite similar to Arco's...I never know what to say or how to say it. I've also had some experience with a few other RPG's that, while fun, were never really that successful, so I ended up doing quite a bit of writing and stuff for my character (who, coincidentally, was named Alpha Knight).

Whoa whoa whoa! It's already mid-September--maybe we should get the July winner announced (or maybe even August, too)? Can we get an official motion to vote on this? Between Alpha, Darilan, and Grenada?

I second that motion. Its been two months since July and we haven't voted. It is time...for judgement.

Yay! Weienw's back!

I third the motion and cast my vote for Grenada. I still think that you guys shouldn't vote for me for July, but August is a completely different story.

Thanks ^^. I think I'll stick with my July nomination/vote, but...

Indeed. August is a whole new beast. I get back here and it's like...
"Alpha has HOW many posts!?"

But for voting, I'm not quite sure how we're going to do it, since for June we didn't have one (a vote). I'm guessing a poll would be a bad idea though very simple and clean--so should we just have people restate their votes and we can move onto August?

I'm not seeing the difference between nominations and votes, really. It just seems rather extraneous, 90-100% of the people would vote the same(as their nomination) since that month is long gone. How about we just call it vote from now on and do it at the end of every month?

Anyone agree and we just vote for August?

In August; I vote Alpha. The threads containing his story have been so well thought out, written, and carried on. His tale is interesting, and it makes you want more, I like that, and that's why I'm leaning his way on this one.

I guess, but let me just make it clear that if we were to have a vote for July I would vote for Grenada. As for August, I vote for Alpha. There were more chapters of his story in August. His ability to right is truly a literary phenomena. Each chapter produced clear insight as to what was happening and what might occur. Each chapter left me in utter amazement and surprise. But above all, the way he is able to leave me in wonder as to what will happen next has won my vote.

Bravo Alpha! Bravo!

I still vote Alpha; July, August, heck, even September! Let's face it... he's good.

October is looming, my friends... *wince*
How about we just call it vote from now on and do it at the end of every month?
I wholeheartedly agree.
Anyone agree and we just vote for August?
What about July, though? Should we just count up the original votes, back from a month ago, or still try to revote, or..?
