Egads! Is that a Roc? Oh, cousin Archmage told me about those, indeed! I need magical knowledge to fight them, so I do!
(Aside) I remember that adventure all too well...

"That bird didn't need to be healed, Hylian. It was close to three times my size. Don't you understand, we might fight birds like that someday. They would be trying to kill you. Are you going to worry about healing it then?"

"Grenada, at that time we will be killing them in self-defense. Killing something that can't fight back...there is no honor in that."

"Forgive me, but I find myself agreeing with the mercenary. That Roc was too dangerous to be left alive.

"While there may be no honor, consider what would happen if we had healed it. It might lash out at us in blind fury, being ungreatful of the healer. One of us could have died."

"Yes,Darilan is right.I'm a Vassal of the King and a member of the Knights,so I treasure honor greatly,but surely honor is not worth a man's life or two?"Leon questioned,returning to the area."Where should we bury the corpse?After all,this Roc,being killed in an un-honourable way,should deserve a proper burial,right?Nevermind,we cannot get the King to bury a monster...".

I will take a feather to the Rito boy before they rot. The decision to kill the bird was a wise one, methinks. Cousin Archmage says that even he had trouble with Rocs.

Pende simply walked up and placked a feather off the pheonix. "No need for this brd to go to waste."

'That's right,' Darilan bites his tongue before he says that in response to Arthur's comment. Best not to rub it in. He merly stated his stance on killing the bird, argued it a little bit. He would argue no more.

After returning from Peaktop, Denning sees the Roc."Oh, what happened? Ah well, its for the best. Perhaps we can make a nice meal of it!"

"I have heard that Rocs are a bit... chewy."

Well, if you want to eat it, go right ahead, Darilan. I certainly will not!

Victors eyes go wide with horror at the idea of eating the Roc.

"Eat it?!?! What ever happened to giving it a proper burial?"

Victor then looks down at the scattered feathers.

"I can't stop you from eating it, but at least let me get some feathers first."

Victor bent over and collected a fistful of feathers from the ground, rather than defiling the dead bird any further by taking its remaining feathers.

"Arthur, being that Roc's are chewy is one good reason not to eat them. They are also said to be low in nutrients. Where would you get the idea that I would want to eat that thing? It was Denning here who brought up the idea of eating it."

"No-one is gonna eat this beast!"Leon roared.He grabbed two handfuls of feathers,and pulled them off the dead bird.He then rushed off,saying,"That boy will need as many feathers as possible!".

"Sorry, sorry, I was only joking! I will not eat this!"

Darilan forms a smile that transforms into a hearty laugh. "I must say it was a good joke as well, Denning. I thought you were serious about eating it."
