Yes, you need to get talents that are restricted to the class you want to become. As I've stated before, at this point, since you are in transition to that subclass, you may get the talents for the class you want to be, but you can't use them until you are that class.
Example: Player X wants to be a Cleric.
Therefore, they need to spend three TPs on talents that list "Restricted to Clerics" in their information.
So, X uses his three TPs on Resurrection L1 (...gah I need to add more Cleric talents...). Player X has spent his three TPs on his chosen sublcass, and while he may not yet resurrect anyone, he can become a Cleric by talking to Sage Artorius.
Example: Player Y wants to be a Mage
Same deal, three TPs, but this time on "Restricted to Mages" talents.
So, Y spends his three TPs on Elemental Explosion L1. He can now talk to Artorius and be a Mage.
I hope that makes sense.
In any case, pende, since this was not clear, you are welcome to retool your talents (whereas usually they'd be final).

A mercenary! Hyrule has a mercenary!! Hah, to think at first I doubted anyone would even choose Cleric. Congratulations on you guys who are so rapidly jumping into your classes *grin*.
Although, not to ruin the moment...
But isn't a Mercenary a Grunt? Thus, Grenada should go and see Quartermaster Hithos for his advancement into Mercenary-hood?

'Hmmm, i don't think I will become a mage right away. If I got the spell, I wouldn't have the power to cast it even once. Perhaps, i should focus on working on the basics first.'
"Since Sheikah are weak to light, does this mean that a spell like Life would hurt the them instead of heal them?"

"Since Sheikah are weak to light, does this mean that a spell like Life would hurt the them instead of heal them?"
OOC: I highly doubt it... I'm pretty sure that the elemental inclination is more applicable for spells like "Elemental Burst" and associated spells with specific elements. A healing spell that's inclined to Light would probably still heal--at worst, it would have half-potency. Does that reassure at all?
Although, I am curious to see how we're going to handle the "very weak" versus just plain "weak" (in regards to "very weak against fire").

Learn: Spell—See above, has a very random effect.
Cost: 4 SPL
Shadow Magic
Scholar only
L1 Can cast 1 TP
L2 +1 to Chance to affect 1 TP
L3 +3 “ 2 TP
L4 +5 3 TP
"That chance to affect, does this mean that I can change my results by a certain amount if I roll a number I do not desire? For example, let's say I have level 4 spell, cast spell and roll 16, which would result in nothing happening. Would I be able to alter it, so that I could change it to 11, removing an enimie from combat; change it to 19, producing 50 rupees; and change it to 20, leting me make a thunder spell?"

OOC: I had a question about this one, too, Pende... but I think it makes sense after you think about it for a second.
The "Chance to affect" is just the chance that your "Spell" will even have any effect at all. Just as how someone can avoid elemental burst if their (SPI + d20 roll) exceeds 25 (and get reduced DMG at 20), someone can avoid the spell Spell if their sum exceeds 25.
What type of effect that your target gets is unrelated to your initial dice roll of seeing if there will be an effect at all. As far as I could figure, there are two dice rolls: one to see if Spell actually hits, and a second calculation to see what happened if it did.
Although... what happens if someone's sum (SPI + d20) exceeds 20 (indicating half-DMG) but DMG is not a feature of Spell?

"Wait a second. I thought you were neuteral, Grenada . Doesn't this mean that you should be a nomad, as mercenarys are chaotic?"
Grunt types
Vassel: A grunt who swears their loyalty to the Royal Familiy (order.)
Nomad: A grunt who is loyal to no one (neutral.)
Mercenary: A grunt who is loyal to money (chaos.)
"Or is this not true? if it isn't, does that mean that a chatic scholar can join the exiles and become a cleric?"

"Wait a second. I thought you were neuteral, Grenada . Doesn't this mean that you should be a nomad, as mercenarys are chaotic?"
OOC: Right as I used my 3 TP I switched to chaos. I didn't want to start chaos because that would have given away my plan(Being a merc).
"Or is this not true? if it isn't, does that mean that a chatic scholar can join the exiles and become a cleric?"
Yep that's true. And therefore no, Clerics can only be order(because they work for the goddesses)
It just all comes back to me now being Chaos. Sorry for the confusion...

"Unless you count the Zora in the Deku forest. He rather strongly resembles a river Zora. By the way, since polymorth is a nature spell, would that mean I, a Deku, would be able to resist it better than other races. Or does my resistance to nature only apply in cases involving damage?"
