Hello all,

Now that it's become a bit of a habit and everyone's jumping on the bandwagon, I'd like to ask everybody to refrain from posting in this thread, even if you have an announcement to make about your new story, etc etc. Sure, there's no better advertisement other than PM'ing each member, but as you can see (up till 2006), the original structure of this frame is that it is to be posted in by Admins/Moderators only.

Please use the Crazy Seer for your personal story announcements, or do be adventurous and create an interesting new thread that will draw people into your arc.

And yes, Alpha did it too, so 1) no hard feels, but 2) that doesn't make it necessarily right, then again 3) we gave him permission in this regard, 4) and Force of Gold is a story on a bit of a grander scale, anyway. If perhaps you really do have an announcement of similar weightiness, give us/me a PM and we'll go case-by-case about it.

Thank you!

That's right! I got permission to have a bit event, and I'm letting everyone know about it! The big, big parts will be coming in a while, but war is coming. You have sensed it before... evil rising from the east... and the south. The Exiles will attack soon. If you want to take part in Nogare's story, then sign up in the Temple Quater. The topic is called "Soldier Recruiting". A lot is ready... but I don't have a map... All I need to know is how to use Photo Bucket. So someone please PM me who has a file on that. I strongly recommend you join. It will be a new genre of Zelda, while still keeping the same...

Swords will be fragmented

Sheilds shall be shattered

And the most exciting part about it is that I have chose no partular ending. I will not be going easy, just to have a good ending. It will depend on your skill, and if you help me well. If you fail me, Not only will you fail Hyrule as well, but many a person whom you have come to enjoy, come to know, will all die! If a good ending, it will be glorious and victorious. But if tradgety, you will have to witness as you watch many a person suffer, die, and bleed because of your failure. The pressure will be on you all!

But alas! you do not only have to serve me. Join the Exiles, and work against my companions and me.

Or you can fight for no one, and work against us both! Or with us both!

Every choice leads to a different destiny. Choose yours...

Well, there are two very important things now happening in my storyline. The first of which can be seen here in the NCC, Aftermath of the Event. I ask all those who were a part of Force of Gold III to please participate in voting for who you all think deserves to be crowned the RPer of the Event.

Oh, and the second thing is that Part 4 is currently up in Parapa Desert. You can go there if you want...and yes, if you didn't show up at the fire place in Part 2, you may now officially join Force of Gold. I invite all of you to do so.

As more and more people have come into the world of HA2, I've noticed that the quality of RPing among characters has noticably decreased. In an attempt to remedy this situation, teach you guys a thing or two about effective role-playing, and most importantly, help our newest members to get a good feel for Hyrule, I'm proud to present the first of many writings that shall attempt to explain these ideals we all (should) hold.

Thus, I present to you my newest project: The Newcomer Articles. I hope to be putting these out on a semi-regular basis, all of which shall appear in the New Members' Forum. The first one has already been posted there; I suggest that new members and veteran RPers alike go read through this stuff, because it can help you out regardless of how long you've been playing the game.

Edit: I have added the second of the Newcomer Articles, which is actually Part 2 of the first one. This one came out quickly due to the fact that originally they were both a part of the same article; I split them into two parts after analysis showed that the people who need to read these the most aren't inclined to read more than a page's worth of writing. So, don't expect an article every few days; you're all just lucky with this one.

Also, if any of you have any ideas for articles, feel free to PM me about it. I already have a list of seven or eight topics, but I'm happy to add more to it.

The next of the Newcomer Articles has been posted. This one has some current applications that I believe everyone could learn a lesson from. So, please go and read it, even if you've been around as long as the admins have.

Force of Gold VI is up and running. I actually posted it a few hours ago to see if anyone would be looking...apparently some people have read it, but not responded to it. Anywho, Part 6 is waiting for your replies in Parapa Desert, just one area north of Wyndisis' lighthouse.

Edit: And things are (once again) heating up in FoG. These guys need some help; Alex and Rose aren't nearly enough to defend against 30+ enemies.

OK, I'm finally back. This event is going at a slow pace. I need the Exile Council to end today, if possible. I have something in mind for tomorrow  (Especially you, Kasei!)

For the Neutrals, your mission will begin shortly. Once the Tavern topic finishes, you'll be able to start. And remember; this mission is more of a time attack than the others that will take place in the future...

And for the Order; I'll post at the Blacksmith topic right away. There, you will be granted something many others will not. So enjoy :D!

And suspense will arrive shortly.

But overall, dudes, this needs to hurry up. I know that most of this is my fault, but be sure to post where you must for this event. And Alpha, I know I gave you that deal, but try your best to stay with it anyway. And could you PM me, telling me what's happening in FoG? I have totally lost it after that battle in the Parapa against that guy. Please? Thanks.

And may the Triforce be with you all! And may all of your choices in these events be done right in this stuff be complete soon. We have a battle to fight :!:   8) :D   :P
-Nogare

EDIT: I'm sorry, guys. I wasn't able to do that thing. Just pretend it's not Halloween yet  Because I wanted to do something for Halloween in the event. I was grounded, so... yeah.

I don't know if I can double-post here or not. If I can't, just attach this to the above post, RG or any other Moderator.

Okay, so, here's an update. The Blacksmith Topic is a going very well. Slow on my part, but otherwise well.

The Exiles are doing great! Good speed. Right where it needs to be. But reminder; it's not done! Alright? Thanks.

Now. The Twilight guardians. They are doing okay, but we are slightly behind on them. Again, partly on my behalf, but I'd like to quicken it just a little bit. I'm on here fo a long time today and tomorrow. But weekdays are when things come slowly.

And to all... my Holy Evening surpise is going to be a good one...

(To all those who have no idea what Holy evening is, it's the same as Halloween. See how they sound the same? I'm christian, so I know all aboot it.)

Blades will burn. Shields will splinter. The unlucky will be sacrificed to the Fierce Deity. And behind this destruction floats a dark, forgotten mask, that contains the power to destroy Hyrule. Many will fight, but few will live. Unbeknownst to most, Hyrule is on the brink of destruction.

I present you my event, The Cursed Masks. It's already started, but I'll be accepting recruits for a while longer. I've got permission from MG for it to become an official event - that is, if you participate to the end, you'll get a TP! That's right!
Join the event here.
The event itself can be found here.

Well, Wednesday has come and gone. I'm happy to tell you that there is no need to start bombarding Jack's bed with Horsehead heads - he did indeed upload everything. MG is the one in charge of that stuff, however, so I don't know if everything is good to go yet. Regardless, we are now one step closer to the opening of the long-awaited South Hyrule!

At this point, aside from any more changes that will be needed to be made to the Forums themselves, we just need to start setting up quests, NPC's, Signposts (sorry, Sovelis, these will be made of a new material so they can't be burned). On this note, if you have any ideas for quests or NPC's, feel free to PM me with a short description of them. I won't promise that we'll use them - in all reality, we probably won't - but there's a chance.

MG, if you want to elaborate on all this, please do.

OK, guys it's not quite ready yet, but the good news is that there seem to be only about 5 pictures that don't work, I'm sending the fixes to Jack tomorrow, and once he gets that resolved we should be good to go. I want to thank everyone for their continued patience, as long as things go as planned, we should be up and running soon.

Oh man! Sorry to here the bad news, MG! No, I'm kidding :P.

Okay, guys... the following will be startling to many of you... in fact... possibly all of you...

I may re-start Nogare's story. Don't worry, the event isn't going to be changed that much. Maybe the councils. The reason for this is the following...

You see, I am an author. Writing is where I'm going in life. I'm using HA2 as 'practice'... but there is a disadvatange to this, as well... you submit after writing. I'm not at all complaining about the forum RPG invention. I say this is one of the greatest inventions to come to the world of nerds :P, but... I want my story to be a masterpiece. Hard work. I've worked on HA2 for the entire time I was away from the site. When I'm not on the CPU, I'm planning for my story. When I'm not working, I'm studying my Zelda games. (I can be in the ginus book of records... "Word's most lifeless writer"... Yeah... I can see that... And when I'm not doing any of that, I'm eitehr working, at school, with friends... and maybe training on Soul Calibur 2 and SSBM. but, my point is, what I want of Nogare's story is not what I approve of. It's not my best. Now, I'm not re-starting because my topics are being locked and hidden. It's just that, it's not as good when it's just edited. You know?

So! This is my solution; I will make a book for the North Castle Library (with it's own topic), saying of Nogare's story thus far. So some things you know about Nogare may change...
"What you think you seen... hasn't happened yet..."
-- Star Trek 8)

And also, since this topic is for more official stuff :P, I'll change the topic to be aboot the event. Therefore :D... the Councils. I They are trash , sorta. I... haven't really... planned those out. So... I'm going to continue them, but some stuff did happen, some didn't. I... I don't really know how I'm gonna get this story through. Maybe the almighty Alf can help... er... I'm worried about the past more than what's to come. Please, someone, help me with how to plan this... PM me if you are willing to help... I don't want too many to help...

Thus, this event will come slowly. Very... slowly. So, I advise that you take another quest, story, or event, to man your time. But I'm extremely picky on when things take place, so it'll be before the event. Savvy? Thank you.
-Nogare

PS: Also, if you want some of your story in my event, PM me, and I'll see what I can do. Who said that only one story can take place at once. I know you hate to spoil... so do what you're willing to put in. Savvy? (... MAN I use that word a lot :P)

So, until next time on 'Hylian Time'

OOC: Headline: The downfall my great event... :(

I'm sorry, ladies, gentlemen, and Kasei :P, but I'm afraid that my event is too terrible to continue. I have not planned it out very well, and I am afraid that, through it all, I am not going to be doing this event until later into the age of HA2. I'm so sorry, fans... I have given away too many false clues, too many stupid writings that I am not satistied with, to procceed. I will return to making my event when all of my story is planned out, and ready to publish. I'm sorry...
-Nogare

PS: PM me if you have any concerns...
