OOC: Sorry, I'd been waiting for Weien to post, then had to help paint a friend's house.
Oh, and Blank, we've decided that your DMG is really 22, sorry about that.
IC: Alpha's water burst flies toward the the Daira, and (4 + 1[Hit]), the lizard is unable to duck fast enough. The water crashes into it's face, causeing a loud hiss and 20 damage to the beast.
Blank's dual blades(16 + 2[Hit]), both collide with the intended body parts, tearing into the throat and stomach. The moblin clenches it's fists angrily and glares at Blank. It had taken 22 DMG.
Enemy 1- Looks at all three challengers, and deciding upon the Bard, he sprints with fangs exposed. As he draws closer, his teeth split, eyes drawn in to Arco's right leg, his teeth slide apart, his tongue falls out, and his breathing quickens. As saliva glistens, and eventually drips of it's tongue, steaming when it touches ground. When it reaches the Shiekah, it throws it's head violently at the bard and, (4 + 12 = 16[Miss]) seems to fly past Arco's legs as if on purpose. it's feeble attempt does nothing.
Enemy 2- After taking the burst to the face, the lizard growls wildly, before charging at Alpha, apparantly looking for revenge, it whips it claws toward Alpha's face( 4 + 5 = 9[Miss]) but it does so too early, allowing them to pass harmlessly before his face. It slides to a stop behind, and turns to watch Alpha closely.
Enemy 3- Takes both slashes from Blank, and seemingly decides to avoid contact with him anymore, rushing quickly over to Arco with it's club extended to it's full potential. At the last second, it drops the head of the club, (2 +6 = 8[Miss]) into the ground, and seems to take a position behind Arco as if hiding from Blank.

Sorry, I'd been waiting for Weien to post, then had to help paint a friend's house.
OOC: Oops... sorry -_-.
IC: Arco pulls his right leg back and away from the lizard as if vaguely offended that the Daira would target it-- honorless frrrakk!--and then takes a few steps backwards, so as to squarely face it. He sidesteps slightly, so as not to be standing in between the offending moblin and Blank (and more importantly, so as not to be standing in between the former's club and the latter's two swords)...
You see him flip his dagger over so that the blade comes out from the bottom of his fist, pinky side. You see his Sheikah form bend backwards elastically... and then leap forward and upwards in a strange series of spinning hops which closes the distance between him and the Daira with surprising speed. At the last moment, he sticks out his front foot in a feint-kick, then withdraws it and brings his dagger down in a tight, diagonal arc.

Alpha grins as, at last, the little fight turns in his favor. 'Finally got it!' he thinks with a grin. Not one to give up on an excellent strategy, the Sheikah only hesitates in order to dodge the Daira's swipes, then grabs a sphere of blue energy as it forms in midair...as if by magic. Hurling it with all his might, he cries out what it is just to give it a short chance to allow fear into its system before being blown apart.

OOC: Ha! It's running away, but I won't be proud until I make it cry XD
IC:
The incredible burst of power he had somehow summoned drove him forward, and even as the Moblin scurried away from the twin blades of a Deku and Hylian, he felt a daze carrying from his stupefied mind to the rest of his body. A Moblin, a creature born of the sins of mankind and the darkness in the hearts of many, had retreated from battle. Well, not entirely, but as far as one-on-one combat went, the brute had basically surrendered and taken flight. How such a vicious and normally overconfident beast could have ever been scared off was beyond him. The ugly boar men of Calatia would make mincemeat out of this one, he thought, grinning. True was the fact that his "kin" would never have faltered in battle. At least I can give them that; they're not cowards. Of course, the thought was short-lived when the nomad recalled how the tribe of Moblins haunting his pasts had murdered, pillaged, vandalized and downright ruined everything they came into contact with. They fit the description of "coward" perfectly, when he thought about it.
His deep hatred for the hogs made it difficult for him to be distracted from the remaining pig's presence. The Dairas were still dangerous enemies, but held no personal grudge against them. What it all came down to was the past. And the odor. And perhaps the way he had been "mistreated" upon entry to this particular chamber. His rib still twinged with a formidable amount of pain. This was reason enough to follow the Moblin in Arco's direction.
As the bard swerved away from his position - directly between Blank and the Moblin - the nomad smiled, silently thanking him with a discrete nod. Although, it would probably have been difficult for Arco to notice, as Blank was now charging across the room towards his target. There was no grace to his technique this time around, just pure, physical hatred. That is, one could define the dual-bladed movement as a means of skewering an enemy. Blank's swords - or, Blank's sword, as well as Grenada's - seared the air in close proximity, like a single, double bladed weapon. Both points were aimed dangerously at the Moblin's throat.

OOC James: I don't think I mentioned armor before, but the moblins are wearing a light tan armor.
IC: As Arco rushes to the front of it, the Daira gives barely any effort to move, though it does flap it's tongue out. Breathing twice, the lizard then bites a hole into it's tongue before motioning to your throat. The blood that drips down begins condensing on the ground, and it gives almost a laugh. It barely notices the glare of the tiny blade as it splits the air on the way to it's face. The dagger(6 + 9 = 15[Hit]) slides into the beast's skull. A gross "splurch" is heard as a part of it's brain slithers up around the blade, but the Daira soon collapses, creating a pool of blood at your feet.
As the Daira slides to a stop, it puts it's hands up, diligently watching, hoping to avoid your next attack. It seems to fear that another burst would happen. When the blue ball appears, the Daira whines loudly, and looks as of searching for something to hide behind. Finding nothing, it charges toward you, eyes wide and full of fear. When the burst leaves your hands, it floats slowly nearer and nearer to the lizard (1 + 6 = 7[Hit]), the reptilian creature can't avoid the attack, and as soon as the burst touches his face, it is flung off it's feet and into the wall nearby. Rolling down the circular portion near the ground, it stops with it's face down, noticably not moving.
The moblin that had been hiding behind Arco lowers it's eyes when Arco moved, giving it a clear sight of the charging form of Blank. As the Hylian draws closer, it seems to want to move, twitching different ways, almost as of trying to fake you into to changing course. Something stops it from moving, though, as it soon kneels down and places it's club across it's chest, it's as if has admitted defeat. The blades, (2 + 14 = 16[hit]) tear completely through the already damaged throat, ripping it's head completely of in a bloody mess, bouncing twice, he head rolls to a stop somewhere between 5 and 10 feet diagonally behind it's left shoulder, and the body falls to the opposite side limply.

As the last of the enemies fall, Alpha takes a chance to look around the room and see where any possible exits might be. [Awareness Check]
With that done, the Sheikah turns and rushes over to where Grenada lies, seeing how the group's ally is doing.

Alpha's awareness check(3 + 13 = 16[Pass]) allows him to spot the frame of the door on the right wall cut deep into the sand is an opening, with a door sitting closed underneath. The Frame appears to have been dug quickly as it has no sharp edges, and the rock is awkwardly cut. The floor isn't even level heading toward the door, taking a couple dips mixed with occasional lumps. Outside of this, the room is dark, but the ceiling is a clean dome, almost perfectly shaped, and consistently a dark brown.
Other than this two other objects catch Alpha's eye. A chest sitting in the far corner, a dark red wood with bright silver metal running across it's face. It's base is embedded two inches into the dirt. Other than this, there sits a key balancing on the tip. It's shiny gold metal calling out to you.
As for Grenada, his body still sits in the crater, his tiny lungs pulse slowly, drawing and expelling air by instinct, his face dead, not an expression. He looks particularly flatter and you can tell just by looking that a great force was used in doing this. He sits in what couldn't be a comfortable position, though you know it wasn't his choice. You notice that his right hand sits down by his right side, index and middle finger in a crossed position that couldn't have been a result of being crushed.

As the Moblin's head sheered away from its deceased torso, Blank could almost taste the spray of blood splashing at him. Fortunately, he fell back in time to avoid dirtying himself with such fetid substances. Showing no lack of contempt, the Hylian aimed a hefty kick at the stationary, decapitated hog, sending it the floor. He looked away in disgust, only find that Alpha and Arco had successfully removed the Dairas.
This brought a smile to his face, which diminished as he noticed James weeping over the unconscious Deku. His mind raced, scanning over the the adventurers that were gathered in the temple. Were any of them clerics? Blank was new to Hyrule; although he could grasp a basic knowledge of the people around him, he could not recall the classes of each individual. Grenada would have to be carried - or dragged - through Parapa Palace until the moment that he would be able to recover.
At the moment, Blank had two tasks to carry out. He searched the room up and down, in every nook, cranny, niche and opening, attempting to find something of use for revitalizing the nomad's health. That Moblin's club had taken its toll on his rib, so it seemed honest enough for Blank to want to replenish himself. Of course, he would share with the others if he found enough. [L3 Find Sustenance]
Secondly, Blank hobbled over to the truly interesting spectacles: The key and chest. Grabbing the key and looking over it, he tosses it to Alpha. "I think you'd be better off with this than I would," he said, grinning and recalling how many small items had fallen from his possession over the years. Then, gripping the chest, he pulled the lid up carefully, ready to look over whatever might lay inside. He half-expected a golden light to shine from the box, but he didn't get his hopes up too high. Still...

OOC: Wow, I realized how undefined Find Substance really is, doesn't tell you what or how many of stuff they find. In any case, I came up with something...
IC: Blank scoured the room in search of replenishment, he had hoped to find enough to share, but little did he know exactly how bountiful his findings would be. He uncovered (9 + 19 = 28[5]) five items scattered throughout the room. These five objects were a small heart, 2 small jars, a medium heart, medium jar, and a large heart.
After his bountiful findings earlier, Blank was in for another surprise, when he picked up the key, a scrap of paper sat on a ragged string hanging off of the end. It hung down, spinning slowly as little amount of wind drug it's corners. As it spun in front of him, he could make out the words sitting across it's face.
"A key to the door, or a key to the chest; you must choose wisely, it's at your behest."
After looking it over, Blank continues his original plan, and tosses the key to Alpha. Making his way to the chest, this newfound information is confirmed when the lid doesn't budge.

Paper? How had he missed something like that? As the solid key whisked off through the air in Alpha's direction, the nomad caught sight of it message. He realized what it might have been intended for; to warn some poor soul that it was a necessity in obtaining the chest's treasure. This "theory" of his was backed up as he attempted to open the lid of the box, grunting and pushing all of his weight against it, desperately trying to budge it. Eventually, his feet began to slide back and he was forced to his stomach, still clutching the potential treasure holder.
Rolling over onto his back, he groped at the wall momentarily, reaching for a suitable handle to better his attempts at regaining any form of stance. His hand caught ahold of something, and he heaved himself to his feet, stumbling backwards into the chest as he did so. Grinning wolfishly, yet knowing how ridiculous that display had no doubt looked, the crimson-haired Hylian turned to Alpha and spoke up.
"Guess we'll be needing that key then. Go ahead, Alpha. Open it up." He cringed as he spoke these words, however, always wanting to be the first to discover something useful. "Wait... the door, or the chest? Augh..." he sighed, knowing that the door was the obvious choice. Unless, of course, the chest held treasure and yet another key. At that moment, however, Blank remembered the wealth of spoils he had received after his tireless search. Grabbing the medium heart, he gobbled it down (hoping that that was the acceptable form of revitalization, in this case; were these hearts supposed to fuse with the body, or replenish energy as food normally did? Or were they endowed with magical medicinal properties, like those of the fairies.) No matter what method he enforced the item's purpose with, he was sure that the effect would be the same.
Then, recalling the other warriors involved in the the previous battle (namely Arco and Alpha), Blank inquired as to their current situations. He had witnessed the mage's spell-casting, and knew that the man was doubtlessly magically drained from the effort. Smiling kindly, Blank tossed one of his magic jars to the Sheikah. Then, turning to the bard, his smile did nothing but remain. "Feeling alright, Arco?" he asked, holding out his handful of hearts to the grey-toned vagabond should he need one.

Once Arco wipes his dagger off his pant leg and slides it away, you see him crouch down by the Daira's body and gingerly rummage through its clothing and armor, looking for anything that could be of use or benefit. (Search Check)
"Someone can check the other bodies?" he says dully, as he slides over to where Grenada lies. And as these words fade into the air, it's almost as if Arco himself seems to fade slightly, like someone mustering up energy to the point of losing himself in the process of mental exertion. Presently you can see him inspecting Grenada's body, feeling for a pulse here and here, and straightening the Deku's body as best he can from what he knows of Deku anatomy. He pauses when coming to Grenada's right hand, which he lifts slightly towards his face. For a moment, Arco indulges himself in staring at the curiously intertwined fingers...
It's like that painting, Odlin's "Smiling to the Death"...
Eventually, you see Arco settle to a cross-legged position and lift Grenada's head onto his lap. He then makes a deft movement-- whissk--and his hurdy-gurdy is also in front of him, resting on top of his left kneecap. The Bard flexes his fingers slightly, and...
Someone watching the scene might afterwards describe it as silent music, played for the eyes. They might mention vaguely how Arco's figure seemed to shrink and grow, grow and shrink... and how his eyes seemed to swim in so many shades of gray... and how his lips moved as if he were singing. But all they heard was silence, and perhaps some kind of a muted rubbing and twanging and clicking.
But for Arco and Grenada... something tells you that you're not seeing--or more accurately, hearing--the real deal. Something in the way Arco's fingers move with almost violently musical deliberation, or how his breathing and his... singing seems to occupy all of his energies. There's definite music going on, and it's most likely that only two people in the room can hear it.
Strange. However, since it's probably obvious enough as to what song Arco is playing, the strangest part is that there is no burst of light, no sudden flow of incorporeal fairies, and no... music.
And then, all at once, it all stops. Normally one might say that the music stopped, but in this case, all that seems to happen is that Arco's hands stop moving, his lips stop moving, and he slumps back slightly, as if exhausted. His hair glistens with sweat. He seems to be breathing easier now, and for some reason, that's how you feel too--as if all the magic in the room had been sucked into a ball and concentrated there, and that only now it's all been relaxed...
-------
Relax.
Arco looks up at Blank, looking somewhat dazed. The Sheikah holds his stare for a while, as if catching up on what the other man had said and computing it painstakingly, before nodding. He reaches out and takes a medium heart, which after a moment of quiet, critical inspection, he consumes. There's an unnerving " squelch... beebeebeep" sound as he does so.
"Thank you, Blank."
Having said this, he seems to have lost all inhibitions and lies back on the floor. His head rolls to one side, to look at Blank again. He hesitates, and then finishes:
"I might also be able to use a small jar... and Grenada will probably need something, too."
OOC: Oh yeah XD. First time playing Elegy of the Departed, I think I wrote too much.
