Rose feels the blood slowly seep down her chest, but she is more concerned about the sound of metal hitting stone. She quickly bends down and scoops up her wedding ring. She jumps back to safely stow the ring into a pocket. She then jumps back forward, thrusting her sword into the second Gerudo's other shoulder.

OOC: Sure thing, ZV.

Dogura's blade hits the Gerudo square on (20+6[Roll+AGI]), dealing a good 7 DMG. The woman shakes her head, as if trying to rid herself of her alcohol's lingering effects. Lunging forward, she catches the Vagabond with her scimitars in his left leg (20+4[Roll+AGI]), dealing 9 DMG to Dogura.

Rose's blade flashes even in the dim lighting of the twilight, easily slashing through the bare shoulder of her foe (14+4[Roll+AGI]). The woman grasps the injured area, attempting to stop the bleeding; when she finally realizes that that won't be happening for a while, she charges forward just like before. This time, however, her foot trips up on a chair (6+4[Roll+AGI]). How she managed to run into a chair is anyone's guess, though drunkenness is probably a good thing to blame it on.

Rose wastes no time in bringing the flat of her blade to the side of the Gerudo's head. "Why couldn't you be more drunk than you are know?" she mutters.

Dogura had a cut on his leg, but it wasnt seriouse. Just some bleeding. Although it now hurt a little to put his weight on it, he beared through the pain, and rather than slicing at the stomache area, he would be much better off crippling her left arm, which is used to grasp the back of the scimitar to complete the thrust. He ducks under the reach of her weapon, and kicks her against the wall. While she lightly dazed, shoved his sword into her shoulder, and would soon after twist the blade so as to cripple her for good.

OOC: Gotta go, otherwise this would have been a bit better. Later

Rose's blade smacks down hard on the Gerudo's skull (9+4[Roll+AGI]), dropping her to the ground. After a few seconds, she rises back to her feet and takes another swing with her sword, but only strikes air (12+4[Roll+AGI]).

Dogura's sword stabs into the shoulder and out the other side (16+6[Roll+AGI]), dealing 7 DMG and intensely hindering her abilities. But she still manages to stand and deliver another swipe with her scimitar...though it merely duplicates the latest strike of her companion (5+4[Roll+AGI]).

As much as Raven would have enjoyed standing back and watching Rose and Dogura fight with the Gerudo it, simply, was not his style. So after backing away while everyone swung there swords around in the enclosed space, he bided his time until he could find an opening where he wouldn't end up on the tip of someones sword.

Finding such an opening, he dodged around the chair the Gerudo had tripped over previously and slashed at the Gerudo's upper arm.

Rose lept back again. Then she rushes forward, bringing the hilt of her sword into the nose of the first Gerudo. Even if the pain didn't knock her out, it would at least blind her.

Raven's sword is aimed true, and it smashes into the Gerudo's shoulder without difficulty (7+6[Roll+AGI]). Crumpling to the ground momentarily, she sits on the dirt covered flooring as if in a daze and wondering where the heck she is, why her swords are drawn, and why blood is flowing out of her shoulders. It's merely a trick, as she launches herself forward in an attempt at a surprise attack. What's more of a surprise is that she actually manages to hit the theif (18+4[Roll+AGI]), dealing 9 DMG to Raven.

Rose's sword strikes its target mercilessly (8+4[Roll+AGI]). The Gerudo clutches her nose as she reels backwards, trying to cope with the newfound pain that has infiltrated her body. Crimson anger burning in her face and eyes, her grip on the scimitar tightens ever so slightly as she bursts forward with a speed that seems surprising for a drunken woman. But even with beer running through her vains she manages to strike her target (19+4[Roll+AGI]), dealing the customary amount of damage to the Human.

Without warning, a figure slices through the scene of the Tavern with speed like a lightning bolt. Twin scimitars held like the two halves of a predator's teeth-filled mouth, each blade barely knicks each of the Gerudo Warriors. But the sole impact is enough to send them flailing to the ground. A loud thud can be heard as each one's skull smashes downward, one onto the floor and one onto - then through - a wooden table.

Koura, her attack completed, stands at full height again and turns to the fallen warriors. Then her eyes shift to the bartender's form, just as they allow a bloodthirsty look to enter her cold eyes. "Do you wish to be next?" she asks with a calm tone that carries with it the fright of the threat. With a moment to consider, the bartender shakes her fearful head.

The Gerudo exile moves to join Rose, Raven, and Dogura. By the time she has moved over to where her allies stand, the hungering look in her eyes has been replaced by their former calmness and kindness. Enici also clambers out of the booth he has occupied for most of the night and walks to them. "We're ready to go now. My office is on the outskirts of the village, but is relatively close to our current position." He motions to the doorway. "We need to move, and quickly!"

Dogura was first to exit the doorway, cleaning his blade in the sand. After it seemed fairly clean, he sheathed it, and prepared for a long walk, even though it was clear to him that it wasnt far.

Rose follows Dogura to the door, but stops and turns. "Come on, take the lead," she says. "I don't know where I'm going." Unlike the Hylian, however, she keeps her sword out. She was willing to bet that the news that Koura had returned would've spread quickly, and more guards would come to the Crescent Moon Tavern. Sober guards at that.

Koura nods at Rose's consent and moves to take the point position. Sheathing her scimitars and wrapping her cloak around her again, the Gerudo leads the group outside and to the western side of the village, where Doctor Enici's home is located.

When the group has finally left the Tavern, a lone man, previously unnoticed by anyone, stands up from his shadow-filled booth and stretches before walking to where the bartender attempts to find out if the two Gerudo warriors survived their beatings.

The man wears a long black cape not far from matching Alpha's. Beneath this cape lies a set of black clothing. Stretching from his hands back almost to his elbows are dark blue gauntlets. With the black hood drawn up and over his head, the only skin that could ever be seen on him is his face, if that wasn't covered as well. A mask blocks his features from sight, and a reflective glass in the shape of the letter 'T' is the only thing that allows him to see through it.

"What exactly was that all about?" the man asks. "That Gerudo girl was an exile of some kind?" The bartender nods, not bothering to reply with words. "Interesting..." the man says without pause. "The head hanchos of this town might find her presence most interesting..."

It isn't too far from Enici's house, and the group soon arrives at the street upon which it lies. Just as the sun peaks over the horizon (OOC: For those of you who are picky about timeline stuff, this is appoximately when FoG 5 begins taking place), Enici grins. "There it is...on the other side of the road." Guards are still patrolling the area for now, and while it would be more advantageous to wait for them to leave for the day, there is no way to know for certain if Calla will survive if they wait around.

"I count four guards," Koura comments from behind the buildings. "Here's a suggestion: let's not try to go engage them in meaningless conversation. They'll stab first and ask questions later."

Enici interrupts. "Wait, the way you said that...was one of you guys actually stupid enough to try that!?!"

'You've got nothing on Kloak and Daggur.' Raven says as the Gerudo hit the floor. He then winces as the cut on his side starts to hurt as the adrenaline ebbs away.'I shouldn't have let my guard down.' He steps over there fallen forms as they make their way out of the tavern, on their way to Enici's home.

Raven stifles a laugh at Koura's comment and Enici's astonished response, but even a stifled laugh made the wound to his side ache. 'So, I guess the course of action would be a distraction to clear the guards. Right?'

"I was ignorant enough to try that," Rose says stiffly. "There's a difference between ignorance and stupidity." She then falls silent as she thinks. "What if I were to change into something frightening? Like, say, a dragon? Would they run away, or would they try to fight me?"

"Probably try to fight you," Koura replies. "And then they'd call the rest of the guards, who would be pretty ticked off at the prospect of having to fight something after a long night of patrolling."

Glancing around the area, the Gerudo attempts to find something - anything - that could be used as a distraction, like Raven suggested. Perhaps you should look around as well...

OOC: I'm sorry...I just don't know how else to say it...I tried during each of those challenges getting to the bar, and you guys simply never picked up on it...

"So much for practicing my shape-shifting abilities," Rose mutters. Then she looks around also for anything that could help them. [Awareness check]

OOC: What? You wanted us to use an awareness check? After spending a year in FoG III using them? ( )
