Even Wraith is forced to draw back a step as Cormoros' true form is revealed to his sight . . . though the reason for his backpeddling is more to escape that disgusting odor that accompanies the general than because of his horrid appearance. Actually, his body seems quite intriguing to the Sheikah, as does the ability that comes with it. "Hell?" he mutters, repeating the undead's threat under his breath. With a shake of his head, he manages to hear Sovelis' words through the din of the warfare. 'Sorry, Sovel,' he thinks, wondering if the telepath will be able to pick it up, 'your death might be a bit longer in coming than I originally anticipated.' He turns his attention back to the . . . creature . . . in front of him. "Hell?" he starts again. "Been there before," he says just as the creature grabs his heel.
"AND I DIDN'T MUCH CARE FOR THE PLACE."
His foot abruptly jerks backwards, and unless this 'Abyss' is just a mindless cretin - quite the possibility, given the circumstances - it would immediately notice that it no longer has the Sheikah in its grasp. Wraith hadn't been sure as to how much energy it would have required to break through its hold, so he had simply transformed the entire bottom half of his leg into a portal to the Void, so that the hand had just passed right through the other realm's gateway.
And then his staff comes around and unleashes a wave of lightning straight at the beast - what's more, when the attack is finished, Wraith is no longer standing there.
"You wish to see my true power?"
The Sheikah is standing about thirty feet behind Cormoros now, in plain sight of both sides. His already pleased expression stretches into a grin that's so wide it almost seems maniacal . . . okay, no almost, it is maniacal. His dragonic arm rises skyward, and from it emanates a tangibly dark aura of energy. "Very well."
His eyes shut as the chant begins.
"Light of Shadow, Shadow of Light:
Shining nightmares, now heed this verse
Show mine foes their heavenly plight!
May all now feel the Blessed Curse."
* * *
Noval can only blink his eyes a few times in shock before the gates come crashing down. He sees Yukie dive into the fray at once, decapitating a Moblin with little apparent effort before squaring off against a Darknut. "Bah," he hears the Deku call out in disgust. "I've beaten yer kind without breakin a sweat before! Ya better git ready to fall!"
Then he disappears in an instant, reappearing with his blade forced straight through the back of the Darknut's helmet, proving that this was not exaggeration.
Richarn shakes off the surprise at last, rising with his sword in hand. 'Right; can't let Yukie have all the fun.' The Golden Hylian, however, chooses to stay away from the main part of the battle, instead turning back towards where the Wizzrobes are appearing. He spies a few Garo combating against a group of them, and instantly rushes forward to give them assistance.
* * *
Idarz reels backwards, almost loosing control of his temporal spell as he hears the final words of the Sheikah's spell. "Th-the Blessed Curse?!"
Did he not know all about the spells of Wraith then he would have been surprised, rather than shocked, at the man's choice of magic. The Blessed Curse spell was actually a variation of a spell that Alpha had used not too long ago, against the Nightmares (OOC: Tayro. If. You. Are. Reading. This. POST. AT. CS. NOW. ), and Idarz knew from his observations that he still had considerable skill with that technique . . . but it was almost certainly useless here. "Blessed Curse" worked by forcing its way into its target's very essence, and dividing the good and evil in said target's spirit apart. Against a normal person, it would create within them a split personality, a good and evil half which would war against each other internally until the day of the person's death - which, given that Wraith was the one casting it, would often be quite soon in coming. It probably would have worked wonders against one like Sovelis, who doubtless had good that he was struggling even now (perhaps subconsciously) to suppress.
But against Cormoros . . . he should be pure darkness, likely lacking all light in his soul. It's possible that he has some goodness left in him, but it must be so minuscule by now that the dark half would overpower it at once. Against this undead soldier, it would at most cause him to loose control of himself and his power for a sparse second, and then he would back and more evil than ever. Strategically, this spell was a mistake of the worst possible kind.
Or so anyone would think if they did not know more about the magic Wraith had mastered.
"This is getting far too out of hand!" Idarz cries as he turns away, running with all speed. The Blessed Curse is not only a soul-dividing spell, but it also serves as the first magic in a series of spellcastings that would ultimately unleash a power unheard of in this day and age. Unheard of . . . except by Wraith.
Even as he rushes back to the forest and begins contemplating his next move, the Sheikah's slow-moving words break through to his mind, confirming his fear.
"Annihilation Restoration -
"Phase One: Complete."

The possesed, otherworldly man known as Sovelis was closing on Alpha and Cormoros' position, and at an alarming rate of speed that few in Hyrule ould hope to match, let alone even follow with their mortal eyes. His speed was several dozen levels lower than his true top speed, and thus many might have seen a faint blur wizz past them at the speed of an arrow that had been fired from a crossbow. Dammit! I should have opened the Sixth Level Limit Seal instead of Sovel's powers...I'm wearing out quickly, and my power is nowhere close to what I want it to be at! the Tempest thought as he skidded to a complete halt a dozen paces or so from where he was going.
The effect that Alpha's voice had on Sovelis was almost devistating. Even though this Shiekah mage had aimed at the Undead General, the power of his spell had brushed the Tempest, causing his powers to fluxuate slightly as his soul, and the darkness of the sealed entity to momentarily part. "Wha-!?! AAARRRGGG!!!" he fell to his knees for what seemed like the millionth time since he had been in Hyrule and yelled out in pain as the shockwave from Alpah's spell hit him. I-if that spell had been aimed at me...then Sovel would have been seperated from me compleatly into the seal again...I have to make sure that that is not allowed! Not while I am this close! If I kill Alpha, then I can return home!

"It never ends"
Azador walked through the battlegrounds he did not see any familiar face mostly hylian knights fighting against a beast of the dark army.
It was a strange sight seeing him just walk through the field were people were fighting for their lives. None of both army's seemed to notice him at all.
Although there were a few beast that jumped up before him, and he easily smashed them unconscious with his good and trustworthy 'friend' called the deku rod.
And walked forward with a simple grin. The aura he emitted seemed to have a very si9mple yet effective effect: 'It made most monsters leave him alone'. A little technique he had been taught by his master a long time ago. although it had the side-effect of him getting weaker by the minute.
"I had some business in Rauru but I fair with such a quarrelling that appointment must be cancelled." He muttered after smashing another moblin in the face.
"annoying..annoying..they never seem to stop.
I guess that's normal when brainless beings like stalfos and moblins are involved. "He concluded.

Taimat raised his hands, and a boulder flew at the gate in an attempt to push back the hoards. It was unsucsesful, and more monsters broke through, fighting of Garo, Stalfos and Hylian knights, and spreading quickly through the city blocks. The beasts started to set fire to houses. The mages in the ranks of Hyrule quickly put the flames out, and started to use spells to repel te hoards back.
Taimat had seemingly summoned a large, gold-adorned long sword from the ground, and was now entwined in a fierce duel against multiple moblins. Hylian soldiers all around him were doing the same, fighting back the hoards as best as they could, defending the town of their fair kindgom, Hyrule.
The garo leap down from the rooftops, and toss bombs into the crowd the thin enemy ranks. Stalfos, the immortal skeleton warriors, slash apart enemies withought fear of being destroyed themselves. Crows and keese on the side of Hyrule fly around in the air, dropping bombs into the army ouside, and attacking the kargaroks still in the sky. Gorons started their own defences, and were crushing monsters under their goliath fists, sending blood everywhere.
Despite these efforts, however, the armies continued to push forward. Taimat, seeing the gate as taken, orders the remaining men at the wall and surrounding area to disperse themselves around the city, and engage in full combat, attack enemies at will, no prisoners.
The knights do so, and begin to run about the city, slicing through enemies.
-----
Cormoros blinks as Wraith forces himself out of Abyss' grip. Unfortunately for the shiekah, however, he feels a sharp sting in his ankle, and the pain starts spreading up his leg.
Of course, Wraith still activates the spell, and Cormoros freezes for a second as the magic washes over him, revealing a horrifying truth; not a single shard of good can be found in this man. Ever since he was created, he had killed mercilessly, taken no hostages, been greedy and had led many assaults against the innocent.
No remorse existed within this abomination, the seven cardinal sins seemed to reign supreme inside of him. He was a creature of pure malice, created for battle, raised for killing, existing for war.
He smiled at the slightly shocked look on Wraith's face. "What's with that look?" Cormoros asks, not knowing what had just happened. "It would seem that your spell has failed, but mine didn't." He gloated, pointing behind Wraith, to the horrible, writhing mass that was Abyss. "I take it you felt a bit of a sting just now, didn't you?" The undead guessed. "That was my own curse, more like poison then a spell. You will be dead in minuets unless you can counteract it. And then...." The undead general smiled. "..Then, I shall have a new, strong servant for my army! HYAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!"
The armies began pouring into Rauru, it looks like the gate is about to fall as Azador arrives, and begins killing things to his likeing.

Zeze's palms had collected a pool of sweat, gazing excitely as the gate was about to fall. She muttered, "Oh goddesses, this is so freakin' awesome." She paced about, swinging her sword. Sakiko saw the bard and - seeing Laido had the long distance attack covered - glided towards Zeze. She gripped her staff firmly, her pale knuckles almost glowing.
"Looks like it's about to fall."
Zeze nodded fervently to Sakiko's grim comment, awaiting... only...waiting.
----
Masakazu leapt up, his heart pounding wildly against his chest. His rib cage felt like it'd break - like a wild bird trying to escape its cage. He ran towards the front, facing the gate. His chucked pebbles - they transformed into rock arrows in the air through his magic - at the archers, as another monster beside him fell to its death. This was not the first that he had seen.

Recovering quickly, Sovelis lept up from where he had fallen to his knees and had his sword gripped in his hands again. While he's distracted by Cormoros, I can finish it quickly and cut off his head! With thoughts racing, Sovelis slashed at Alpha's neck with his blade. "This is the end of you Alpha! To bad your not immortal like either of us!' he cried loudly, his attack simple and sweet. The angle of the strike would bring the weapon through his neck, and down into the vital area of the heart and lungs, killing anyone that would be caught under the steel of the Katana.

OOC: Could've swarn I posted here since my last post.
IC: As the gates shattered, Vilk rushed into the city. His first target was Thaix. Valentine had escaped to a nearby rooftop, because he needed to continue sniping, but the wall probably couldn't hold much longer. An order was also given to stay off the wall and disperse into the city. Oh course, the order was given to him by the same man who told him to stay off the rooftops, but Taimat wasn't going to stop him from killing as many soldiers of darkness as possible. He saw Vilk out of the corner of his eye. Vilk's pace had slowed down to a sinister walk. Valentine attempted to snipe Vilk down, but even though the bullet hit, Vilk's movement didn't falter. Vilk's telepathically wielded swords also prevented him from being ambushed from the sides or back. Soon Vilk reached Thaix, and the two began to duel one-on-one, most likely to the death.
Meanwhile, one of Vilk's men also began his entrance to the city. He was dressed in stolen Hylian armor, the same armor that the stalfos were wearing. That was because the soldier was a stalfos. However, he didn't really work for Vilk. He was employed by Lord Montagomey VI for one purpose, to kill Simon Grendel. A Hylian scmitar was hung loosely at his waste, inside a sheath. If anybody looked at him, they might assume that he was simply a stalfos on Hyrule's side that was attempting to find a mage. He even shattered one of his own arms to make it appear as though he needed a medic. Finally, he had found Simon Grendel. The boy was standing with the other mages trying to extenguish the flames. Slowly, and indiscretely, he reached for the blade.
However, Thealter had noticed him. The traitor that had once almost killed Orpheous and many others was about to repay Orpheous for forgiving him. He took a spear, and blocked the stalfos's blow right as it swept down at Simon. The stalfos quickly responded by running the blade though Thealter chest. By this time, Simon had seen the stalfos, and he quickly destroyed it with a curse. Thealter probably wasn't going to make it though. Bingo rushed up, and took Thealter into a make shift medical tent. She hastely got to work. Thealter had a low chance of survival, but they had to at least try.

ooc: Eh, uncertain of my writing here, cosnidering this is my first battle ever...
IC: Xeon had traveled to Rauru Town, wanting his share of battle. Not that he really cared what happened to the dark side or the Hylians, anyway. He just wanted to fight, and test out his necromancy. The young man smiled brightly, and made his way towards the Hylian defense wall. He commented as he examined the falling gate with a light tone,
"How pleasant!"
Grinning sharply, he peeked out at the 'enemy' troop. Sitting against the wall happily, he pointed his finger at a Moblin corpse, lying on the ground at the feet of his fellow, alive monsters. Chanting in a foreign tongue, he shook his hand in wavelike motions. A razor sharp stream of jet black shot out of his finger tip. He knew that if his magical spell was accurate, the moblin would become a walking zombie, following his every command.

The look, one that Cormoros has obviously mistaken for shock, is really one of surprise as he spots another being off in the distance: Sovelis, rising up from his knees, agony still on his face somewhat. 'Very interesting . . .' Just as he had somehow known that Sovelis was the one casting the dark energy blast he had absorbed into the Void earlier, he knows now that Sovelis' pain is derived from the Blessed Curse he has just cast. 'It was directed at Cormoros . . . for Sovelis to have been affected means he must really be torn between himself.' That could be quite useful information . . .
Then Cormoros' words reach his ears, and he glances down at his leg. "Poison?" he mutters softly, a laugh threatening to break through his lips again. He restrains it for the most part, but the sound of a chuckle can still be heard ringing out through the battle. "My dear undead, you obviously are unaware of who you are facing. As you can see -"
His left arm darts upward, his hand flexing as it rises and his fingers grasping the familiar needles before releasing them, sending a swarm of them barreling into the throats of three Moblins that had been approaching them. It is only several seconds before the creatures take on a new appearance, one which has them dead and eroding from the inside out, until their flesh and bones have been completely burned away by the poison Wraith has just injected them with.
"As you can see, poison happens to be one of my specialties. I spent nearly a year perfecting my immune system to repel all manner of toxins with minimal effort, and even if this poison of yours isn't on the list of those that will never again affect me, I do doubt that it will be as swift to crush my body as you would prefer."
'And if I'm wrong, there are spells I can us--hello, what have we here?' he thinks as Sovelis' blade darts right through him, his body instinctively opening a Void portal all along the sword's path. Just like the claw of Cormoros' creature (wait, alliteration?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!), it passes directly through his form, but unlike that claw it doesn't even get a chance to touch his flesh.
* * *
As soon as he reaches the edge of the woods, Idarz drops his time hasting spell, reentering the temporal folds at normal speed. He doesn't even bother to conceal himself any further than the foliage of the woods allows; he hasn't the time to waste. Instead, he focuses all his energy into invoking another spell, one he is not terribly fond of using, especially considering who will be on the other end. But it will get the job done, and may be enough to push things back into line with a more . . . stable . . . future.
It is a telepathy spell.
'Zaboorak. I must speak with you immediately. Things are becoming urgent.'
The reply was not long in coming, and not lacking in outrage. 'YOU DARE INTERRUPT ME -'
'I haven't the time for this! Alpha is loosing it - he's using the Annihilation Restoration!!!'
Silence. For several long seconds.
Then, 'What do you need?'
'Hakiems! You! Anything that can distract him and break his concentration or focus!' Idarz looks around. 'Your forces aren't present here already, I see, but are any in the area?'
'Yes. I have a handful of Hakiems in the region of Rauru.'
'Send them to find Alpha at once!'
'And what will you give me in return?'
'Other than continued existence?!' Idarz practically yells mentally, before forcing himself to calm down. He had been expecting this; the Zora never does anything for free, even if it involves protecting himself. 'Do this . . .' he finally says, 'do this and I will tell you the location of the Golden Kokiri.'
* * *
Within the next minute, ten Sheikah that had been hiding amongst the abandoned wreckage of Rauru charge out from their base, aiming for the center of the battle and cutting down anything or anyone, good or evil, that got in their way of revenge against Alpha.

OoC: Sorry I didn't post for evers, Kasei. It's... a long story that Sakiko knows. meh. I feel weird... like, all of a sudden, there were tons of posts I hadn't read and... Okay, I'm just gonna go lie down after this...
IC: Arrika shook her head, trying to clear her raging thoughts. It was as if someone had turned down the volume on the war around her, and suddenly it had all come rushing back. The first thing she noticed was that the wall didn't look like it would last much longer, and she wondered how long she'd been unaware of the fact. The second thing she noticed was Sovelis was gone.
There was a loud crack, like thunder, as Burlo made contact with Rhyss's spell. Bolts of electricity shot through the sky, even striking some people on Hyrule's side down. Mirielle felt her hair singe, and glared at Burlo as if it was all his fault.
The ball of energy Burlo batted back looked like a jet of lightning that illuminated the entire town, and it was headed straight for Kobas, eagerly awaiting it with a wolfish grin. Arrika cringed, the intense energy beating on her as it neared. The staff Kobas held in his hands glowed bright red and he struck it hard, sending it straight back at the cleric with increased speed. The magic even seemed to swell and double its size, and if Burlo couldn't control all of his energy into his next hit it would destroy him and the soldiers within 20 feet of him into a pile of ashes.

The gatehouse and a few of the entrance buildings were already taken over by the hoards of the damned. Taimat, who had recieved an arrow in the shoulder only a few seconds ago, was ordering all knights to push forward. The soldiers followed the demands, and together with the Stalfos, they started to push back enemy lines and hold of the bigger swarms.
CRASH!
A large section of the wall collapsed, thanks to the catapaults, as well as a new arrival: Dodongos and one that could be a King Dodongo. The lizards swept into the city of Rauru, and began devouring soldiers of the Hylian army.
Garo fell from the rooftops into the enemy swarms, throwing bombs into larger crowds of the hoard. Still, the enemy pushed on.
Quickly, a lizalfos appeared in front of Zeze, and swung it's blade at her. Similar monsters were attacking Sakiko. At the same time, more archers fell from the rooftops and wall, courtesy of Masakazu's spells.
Gorons began rolling forward, crushing the enemy as well, though a few of them were killed thanks to bombs thrown by moblins.
This is where it gets interesting.
Above Valentine, on the rooftops, was a rather large array of kargaroks. The birds carried miniblins in their talons, and were circling Valentine. Suddenly, the birds released their cargo, and the small pigs rained down on their gunner target.
Only to be knocked away by a large staff recognizable as Belegcam, the weapon of Nogare.
The exile stood next to Valentine, not saying a word, but simply knocking away enemies such as lizalfos who had appeared on the rooftops.
The tent Bingo took Thealter to was one of many, hidden withing a small alley away from the fighting. It was not a guarunteed safety, seeing as how a group of Moblins had noticed it, and were coming closer.....
As Xeon aimed his spell, it hit his pig target head-on, only to get the same results as the earlier spell of Noval; it was like the beast was already dead, it was completely unnafected.
--------------
Cormoros looked at Wraith, greed obviously filling the undead's mind. "You will be my servant, rest assured of that." The corpse said, as moblins were killed by Wraith's poisoning. The being raised one decaying hand. "I don't care if you are immune to it; thanks to it, I have already gotten a glimpse at your thoughts, and now know of quite a few of your 'freinds'. Understand where i'm going, yet?" The beast asked, As Sovelis got bold and attacked. Cormoros the undead smiled, now was his chance.
The beast raised his hand. "Until we meet again..." He said, opening the rift and stepping in, comming out of the portal within the city, where his monstrous form brought many eyes' attention.
"Now, let's find the holder of this so-called 'Golden Power.' "
OOC: And so, the fight begins! Everyone, feel free to start killing enemy troops at will! As for Noval: I already know he was a Goldforce user, so that's why Cormoros is targetting him. I'm not gonna say I know too much about Alpha's characters, cause I don't.

OoC: Sakiko, wait like maybe after we both post at least once, and then we can meet up. Also, I need someone to seriously hurt Arrika, but after she and Sakiko have their little catfight, kay? You'll see why later- Seth is an evil little brat.
IC: Hiyagi gave a long howl that echoed above the rest of the noise, and as he charged forward he leaped onto an unfortunate Hylian soldier. His teeth clamped around the man's neck, and in a burst of red, his throat was torn and the wolf-dog was already in the process of killing someone else. Rhyss avoided the first body and the puddle of blood around it, passing his hands over the air until a double-bladed scythe formed and he had his own share of killings, slicing the necks of anyone who got near.
Arrika drew her sword and was rushed forward as the monsters behind her charged, and before she knew it she was dueling a young myrmidon boy. He reminded her of Worru- unsure of himself but eager to prove his worth. The boy was too reckless and in a few quick jabs he was disarmed and slain with a quick thrust through his heart.

"Oi! Wanna piece of this work of art, eh?!"
Zeze was bursting with energy, flourishing her sword as never before. Her quick instinct and flexible limbs allowed her to bend backwards, narrowly avoiding the attempted kill. Her silver blade created sparks of blinding light as it pointed towards the sky, then down to the lizalfos' neck. She didn't even wait for the sound of teh satisfying slash, the contact of metal to skin, as she charged with a bloodlust unknown to her before. The bard yodeled a war cry, hitting a note of savage excitement as she jumped on shoulders and heads, bringing down her cold, bloodstained blade.
Sakiko swung her staff like a baton, bringing down monsters so filthy to her. She screamed as she shoved a ball of fire in a moblin's face,
"How dare you show your disgusting face here?! DIE!"
Laido was about to shoot his arrow again, when he felt a screaming pain on his arm. He dropped his bow, and his eyes darted towards his bare skin, where he saw a stone arrow buried deeply. Blood was gushing from his wound, but he gritted his teeth, and grabbed the stone as if he was grabbing an offensive item. He tore it out, screaming with agony as he did so. His vision was blurred as he tried to grab his bow again, but all he saw were his fellow archers lying dead beside him.

OoC: I love you guys, I really do, but sometimes I don't even have time for my girlfriend, so posting here is going to be tricky. I will try to post at least twice a week.
IC: Aureliano drew his sword, revitalized by the blood from Zeze's blade. He scanned his surroundings, noting who is still alive and who was dead: Sakiko and Zeze seemed to be perfectly fine, but the archers seemed to be in quite a pinch. As much as the Hylian would love to go help them, his work was on the ground.
He quickly rushed toward a nearby lizalfos, a murderous glint in his eye, and slashed at it, almost beheading it completely. This shot adrenaline through the young Hylian's vains, slowing the events on the battlefield. Aureliano then spots a Moblin and decides to end its life.
He runs up to the pig-like creature and hacks at it, hoping to kill it like he did to the lizalfos. His curved falcata strikes the armor of the the Darkness' minion, cutting right through it, almost reaching the thing's heart. The Hylian then swung his falcata toward the Moblin's helm, caving it in completely. As it fell to the floor, Aureliano screamed:
"WHO ELSE WANTS TO DIE?"

Xeon leaned against the wall, ash faced. He swore under his breath – seeing his magic just fail, just like that, was aggravating. The necromancer was about to try again, when the gates had collapsed, and an archer beside him also. He darted away, disgusted at the blood and filth. He stood, hovering as far as he could from the incoming monsters and the dying soldiers.
He descended the stairs carefully, hopping over dead corpses with a frown. It was even worse down here. Hand-to-hand combat was littered all around, and someone was collapsing to their death every second. His eyes caught sight of a bard, jumping up and down like a maniac, and the dead bodies falling like waves. Perfect.
The necromancer pointed to a random dead body of a dead knight. He clasped his hands together, as if he was saying a prayer. He muttered quickly, fervently. His words slurred together so that the syllables were indistinguishable. Pulling his hands apart as quickly as his chant, he unleashed a mass of white energy at the corpse. He commanded in a whisper,
“Live! Come back to life! Obey my every thoughts!”
