I nobody has been paying attention to this thread... the month of February is coming to a close. I for one am getting kind of irritated with the lack of consistency from our moderators. Although they can't devote their lives to one computer game, they should at least make it possible every once in a while for the game to significantly progress. HA2 seems to be slowing down as fast as the days grow short. And as February 2006 is near over, I regretingly announce that I have no faith in anyone actually receiving a Best RPer Award. But for the sake of continuation, I will cast my vote for Blank. He is one of the very few that has even been participating this month, and his writing seems to be improving by the day, posting longer and more detailed posts each time. If anyone else is going to cast their opinion in a vote, then I suggest they do it quick before March is over! And yes, I DID mean to say March.

Well, I'm really new, but I vote for Zeldaforever. He's got a good story, and he's really good at keeping away from god modding. I read like, all of his posts, and they're really good. Fire is awesome! Hahaha.

Hello all, and Waddles:

Waddles, I receive what you're saying very seriously. Harsh, but true, and as such I am pained as to the state of the Royal Guard (see post in the Announcements Thread). It's true that I'm/we're inconsistent--you could even say lazy! And, though this is getting repetitive, I apologize for neglecting this area of Hyrule as well.

Therefore, I'd like to revamp the voting system to what Arco proposed, effective immediately, unless anyone protests, in which case we'll see how we can compromise. Here are the rules to the new voting system (also copied to the first post in this topic):

For a player to win the RP award of the month, one nomination ("I nominate X") by a player of good standing must receive at least two confirmations ("I confirm the nomination"). If someone is opposed to and deems unworthy that player nominated, their counter-vote will require than an additional confirmation be voiced for the nominated player to win. Also, more than one person may be nominated, but only one player may win each month: the first player to receive the two uncontested (i.e. without countervotes) confirmations will be the winner. The Royal Guard may make a final evaluation before awarding the TP to the player.

Any additions or corrections to these rules? Please voice them. Otherwise, let us move on to the process of actually voting! Since we missed November and December, I'd like to lump them together into one and collectively award 1 TP to Shadowlink according to the specifications of the new system:

Wow. Two very good choices. Ummm...I'm going to offer my conformation to Hiro. His storyline is very interesting, and I have enjoyed being a part of it. As a note to all you other people, I'm sure you guys could easily join up in our little adventure. It's quite fun, I assure you.

So, yeah. Hiro/Zeldaforever gets my vote.

I'd like to confirm the nomination for Blank. Of his near-200 posts so far, the ones in the Event thread are the only ones that I've read intently, but to me that's enough to show his ability as a role-player ^^. Neat character design, knows his English, clearly read the Rules Set, and an awesome (check it out!) profile to boot (but nowadays if a newcomer even creates a profile and links to it in their sig, I'm already staggered). All in all, a great writer!

My vote deffinently goes to Blank, love the story, and involvmation of others, such as the hunt on Blank and Denning!

Okay, it's that time again. You should all nominate some people that your believe to have been the best RPers this month. I haven't really been in too many storylines this month nor have I seen very many people online, so I'll nominate Denning/Marin, whatever one it is. He's been doing a pretty detailed job on his Deoxolips saga, and it seems to be finally about to move towards an end...maybe? But I'll nominate him. You other people can second my vote, or nominate a brand new person, the choice is yours.
