Rose grabs her jerkin and slips it on over her sleaveless shirt. She places her dagger into its sheath at her left side. She checks her flute before she places the case on her back. Finally, she pulls on her gloves, sticks her boomerang in her belt, and finds her Scroll of Fire. "I'm ready," she says. "Let's go."

Peeking out of the cell, Victor spotted the table with all their possessions piled on top of it. Rushing over, he quickly rummaged through the pile, tossing things left and right until he found his harp. Picking it up gingerly, he smiled what must have been his biggest smile ever and lifted it above his head in triumph. Lowering it, the Bard carefully checked it over for scratches or dents and, finding none, proceeded to reattach it to his back with care. Once that was done, Victor simply gathered all the rest of his things in his arms, the messy pile almost reaching his chin. He stuffed most of the pile in his pack, except for his dagger, which he sheathed, and his shield, which he put on his back with the harp. Satisfied, he too declared his readiness.

"All done here!"

Shada nods as everyone reports their readiness. "Then let's go," she says finally. She walks up to the lone door and creaks it open a few inches. Smiling, she waves everyone forward. "All clear."

Through the door is a very large room. A single glance is all it takes to tell that this must be a Mess Hall. At least a hundred long wooden tables with enough seats for thousands of people line the room in five separate rows. Unlike your cell, the ceilings and walls are a polished white, and the floors are tiled with marble. A large set of double doors sits to the right side from your entry point, and a swinging door sits to the left.

Fortunately, the Hakiems seem to be punctual eaters; the entire room is empty.

OOC: You guys are monsters... five pages in a matter of hours! XD

I'm having trouble working out how the inhabitants of Cell 1 got out, but am assuming that the others found a key on the guard's person and unlocked the doors?

Oh, and since when does a mage physically need the scroll to cast the spell?

IC: Arco lifts his head from his place along the wall with a quiet, concluding snore, and tries to sit up. Feeling groggy, he stares at his now-unbound wrists, and observes the odd burn marks. He continues to observe them for quite a while. That some other commotion seems to be going on, with yelling, doors creaking open, people leaving the cell, and then the faint scent of blood drifting into the air, is paid little attention.

Eventually, he pulls himself up to his feet in a creaking motion very much like the one a wooden cross might exhibit as it is pulled to its full height. Realizing that the cell door is open and that people are leaving, he follows suit obediently, squinting as he moves into the brighter light of the outside room.

As he steps out, he stops to kneel beside the slain guard, and peers at the multiple wounds--smashed nose, blinded eyes, slit throat. The Bard contemplates in that position for a minute before coming to a conclusion and riffling through the guard's clothing for anything of value... (ooc: yup, Search Check!)

Arco finishes that up, looks around, and sees that the others are moving onto the next room. Quickly gathering up his belongings before he heads after them, he can't help but wonder.

What's going on? There were the darts, and then...

Arco's search reveals two Small Hearts on the man's belt. Nothing else can be found on the Hakiem or in the room.

Stepping into the Mess Hall, you hear a small commotion coming from the door on the left. Should you check it out, or go the other way?

Following Shada, Tayro found himself in a huge room.
"A Mess Hall? They have the dungeons near a Mess Hall?"- Tayro said, sweatdropping.
To tell the truth, I could eat something right now... Bah, this is certainly not the best time to think about that!

Noticing the two pathways they could follow, the mage apprentice examines the situation.
Well, the double doors would probably lead us to some kind of hall, while the swinging door would lead to the kitchen.
Hearing some noise from the supposed kitchen, he can't decide his own mind on where they should go.
Disregrding his hunger, he looked at the group, making an expression of 'what now?'.

Arco finds his way to where the others stand in the Mess Hall and waits for a moment, before announcing in monotone--and perhaps directed at Shada, who seems to have fallen into place as the leader of the troupe:

"Two Small Hearts."

It sounds like it would be a good title for a song, maybe something for hurdy-gurdy and flute duet. After considering this, Arco wonders who should hold on to the Small Hearts until the need arises...

IC: Alex quickly came back to conciousnes and he noticed that he couldn't feel his hands, he heard known voices around him, Blank, Cloud, Nogare...As he got used to the light, he tried to stand up, but as he was to, he felt the presure on his hands; after a seconds of thinking about it, he came up with the solution...
"Elemental burst of fire!" he yelled and a few seconds later he was free and on his feet (OOC: hope that's ok with you Alpha), and looked around for his cellmates, but he notices that the voices he heard were far away and outside the cellroom...
"Mess Hall?' he says when he gets to the Hall "But now where are we suposed to go? How did we get here?" he looks at the others and then around the chamber

Grenada walks over to where Arco stands, holding two Small Hearts. "Nice find, Arco. I'll hold onto them if you want." The Deku takes the Hearts off the bard's hands and places them in a pouch on his hip. Looking around, the Deku shrugs his shoulders. "If you guys aren't going to investigate that noise, then I will." He walks over to the sliding doorway and pushes it open to peer inside.

Inside is indeed the kitchen, just as Tayro had thought. Seven or eight Hakiems, both male and female, are working ferociously to clean plates from the latest meal. Cooking implements - ie pots, pans, etc. - litter the white walls. The door is in the southwest corner, and on the farthest corner from the entrance is the door to a large fridge. Three of the Hakiems stand in front of the sink, washing the thousands of plates in record time. In one corner are some of the leftover meals: a lot of juicy, delicious-looking steaks.

It makes Grenada's mouth water just looking at them, but with the Hakiems in the room, he quietly closes the door and walks away. "I think we should try the other door."

Dogura had been silent from the moment he was captured. He knew something like this would happen. He was ashamed to have been captured so easily, when he was already so alert. It was an embarassment to his entire family. It was time for him to stop wallowing in shame, and he knew it. If he was going to get out alive, he would have to be at his best. as will the rest of the group. He was going to be in very close combat with the enemy. He removed a golden daggar with the head of a wolf resting at the edge of the hilt. It was finely crafted, and fit to kill. He tuched in its sheath, and took a deep breath. This could possibly be the hardest battle of his life.

Alex frightens as he sees the hakiems, but he sighs when he's not able to get a knife from the kitchen "I bet it's better than my dagger" he thinks.

Seeing Arco come over with two small hearts, Tayro is relieved to see that they have some quick healing, but he sure hoped that it wouldn't be necessary. He sets his eyes on Grenada keeping the hearts, and going to see what's behind door number two.
Cathcing a glimpse of the interior, Tayro's self-esteem rises.
Heh! Knew it was the kitchen!

"I'll go."
Step by step, the boy tried to make the least noise possible so that the Hakiems in the kitchen wouldn't notice him.
As he arrived to the double doors, he slowly pulled the door a bit, and peeked through the small gap to see what was there.

Rose glares at the Zora. "You're not backing out, are you?" she says accusingly. "We have to find Alpha and help him. I don't think he is going to be as lucky as we were."

During this time, Nogare, who had been silent for a while, went to grab his things. Although mostly useless, he packed his North Iron Ore. He slipped on his mail next, and then came his flute. He wanted to play it, but he was convicned thathe shouldn't; they will surely get caught. He packed it, but then realized something. "Belegcam!" He hissed. "My staff! It's gone!" Few seemed to be conserned. what will I fight with, then?! He then eyed a Deku Sword on the ground. That will have to do... he thought to himself. He lifted the sword from the table, and found it's sheath. He grabbed it, and sheathed the blade. I've never used a sword in my life! And this is the worst time to learn!

As they continue, they entered the Marble hall. This has got to be Parapa; what other Palace has Marble walls... But then, it's not very hot... odd... The Hylian Vassal noted.

As Tayro did this, and after Rose spoke to Alex, Nogare wispered, so quitely that it was hard to hear from so close, "Guys, we are too noticable as a group. We must split up, to avoid being as visible." He gripped his new sword.

OOC: Thanks for taking over for me while I was gone, Alpha. I'm all caught up.

And, just for effect for the mission, I'm going to sell my staff. Just to make it seem like I am actually missing it.

Alex looks back at Rose, he knew what she meant but in order to achieve their goal ...
"We got to be careful" said the Zora "we don'y know in what can be in the next door, and we don't know what might happen if they discover us walking freely around, specially with Alpha..." he than stood up to his maximum height (7 ft) and said "It's basic hunting rules, move carefully, always keep the element of surprise, measure you prey's movements"
Edit: Alex then turned to Nogare, put his hand in Nogare's shoulder and said "You're right, we should split up, better to do it groups that cover each other weaknes"
he looked around at everyones eyes
"Are you allright with that?"
