IC: The water splashes on the Goron, and the Tavern around him. But there was still much Alpha didn't get. Alas... it still seemed to calm from something else...

"Argh!" His fustration growing even more, he made a jump at Alpha, who was near him. Alpha avoided/blocked the attack.
(12 + 2 vs 12 + 6 = Dodged!)

OOC: -_-... This is going at a very slow pace, eh? Yeah... I'll hurry this up. I want the war to start soon...

OOC: Hurry this up, eh? Very well. I was waiting to get a L2 Elemental Burst, but this will do.

Even though she already saw that the tavern was caught on fire, Rose thought that fire was the best option for her. She quickly casted Din's Fire [Scroll of Fire], forming a ball of fire and aiming it for the Goron (OOC: Think Princess Zelda on Super Smash Bros. Melee).

Um . . . no, that's really not alright with me. Like I said, being wanted will really make Part 8 interesting. And as we move onward in FoG, you'll come to realize that doing having this event after FoG is a near-impossibility.

Besides, that thing in my last post was referring to Alpha being wanted back when he was Wraith.

IC:
Seeing the watery burst smash into the Goron and rip him apart would have normally brought a grin to the Sheikah's face. Of course, it doesn't. All Alpha does is sigh in sadness - this is not the way allies should treat each other. The fact that their opponent does not think of them as allies makes little difference in the eyes of the hooded man.

But the fact that they are allies also does not affect the fact that Alpha needs to move out of the way of his mighty fist. It may have been a while since he was last punched by a Goron at full force, but the memory still exists vividly in his mind and is not an experience he wishes to relive. So he fixes an firm and annoyed face onto his head and leaps straight away as his attack flashes forward. Landing on the other side of the Tavern, he grimaces at the destruction that is being caused by the fire he started. Well, with innocents gone, it shouldn't be too big a deal - he'll leave a few hundred bundles of Deku Wood at the steps of the place some time in the future.

Of course, the less damage done to the structure, the better. As soon as Rose's flaming attack hits, Alpha grasps a shining azure ball out of nowhere and launches forward what should be the final attack of the battle, as it is indeed the element of the Goron's weakness. "Elemental Burst! Water!"

'Who did you call Zola, you little...' Alex couldn't think of anything as offensive as what the scrub had just called him to answer back.
'Zolas...' he thought 'They're the shame of the water beings, the ones who betrayed us all to join that demon' he cracked his knuckles, ready to fight back and make the vegetable swallow his words; but there was no chance of it...
... and in fact of seconds the Tavern was upside down, the whole group retreated and the Goron was left alone, now that it had received two Elemental Bursts, it porbably wouldn't be necesary to end the job. But the Zora did it anyways.

And, uh... HNS... I don't really think a Vagabond can use a spell. I think he or she can use an elemental Burst or explosion, but not a scroll. So I'm gonna skip that, unless someone corrects me...

IC: The Goron, now realizing that he was no longer in flames, and now soaking in water, yells out a flow of Goronic curses. But before he could reply, he fell to the ground, motionless.

Goron: 0

And from the door, countless guards ran through, weapons all pointed at the group. One of them felt for a puls by the Goron's thick neck. "They killed him." He growled. "Choked to death by the looks of it!" In rage the Hylian Knights announced, "You are all under arrest for killing this Knight, and for attempting to set fire to the Ornery Cucco Tavern, as well as for what we came here for; by the king's orders! Your punishment is death, without question!" A knight took grip of each of the friends' wrists, and were pushed out of the tavern, weapons pointed at them from all sides. Weapons were snatched from them quickly.

"Get-your-hands-off-me!" said Kalex strugling with his bindings. Desperation was taking him over, he was starting to act like an animal, he was loosing control of himself.
"Let me go! Let go of me!!"
He started moving violently, reminding of a recently caught fish, random yells were coming out of his throat. He stayed in that state until he stopped for a moment. A blue-ish aura started to form around his arms and soon it formed a concentration fo energy beetweet themNobody could see his face but his voice could be heard across the whole tavern.
"I told you to LET US GO!!!"
Just before anyone could notice it, all the concentrated energy was released, shooting in every direction, beams of electricity were seen everywhere, and the whole room was lit with a blinding light, beyond that all the lightnings were directed to the soldiers...

OOC: Okay, I've asked RG to unlock this topic. We don't need Nogare's story to finish this up! . . . it just won't have the results that he and I originally planned. But we Twilight Guardians need to continue our own tale, so . . . let's go!

Nogare, if you're still watching this topic, you can GM it still, but if you don't reply quickly I'll probably just take over for you.

Alpha leaps back as more Hylian Knights enter the scene. 'Great, just what we need: more mindless slaves of Order.' He brings his staff up to shield himself from whatever attacks might come his way, but stops short as the words reach him. 'He died?! That burst shouldn't have been enough to kill a Goron, just enough to knock him out! Well, I'm sure there are several Clerics in the Hylian Knights that can revive him . . . if they would only stop worrying about us and get him out of here' - "Hey!" The Sheikah, distracted by his opponents' foolishness, suddenly finds himself being held by the Knights.

"You think that's wise?" he quietly questions to the man who has grabbed him. "You people are fools," he adds with a shake of his head.

Then the Thunder spell is launched outward, and the Sheikah wastes no time in taking full advantage of the fact. His scar glows violet as he invokes the Void, transforming his very hands and wrists into portals. The hands of his captor slide right through them as a result, leaving the Sheikah completely freed. It takes less than a second for him to dash forward and grab his staff once again. He utters only two words:

"Rohtric Carrse!" The ancient spell works its wonders, magically drawing every ounce of electricity in the area straight to its focal point, the staff. All those within a foot of the staff are abruptly shocked to the point that even the most hardy men would be fainting. Save for the master of the spell, Alpha, of course. Turning to face the other captors, he points the glowing blue staff at them. "Release them! You Knights have already made enough mistakes for one day; no need to continue doing so."

OOC: A rumble, and I wasnt told?

IC: Dogura sat in the corner with a grin on his face. He hadnt had a good fight in a few weeks, and was ready to put his training to use. He stood up, and glared at one of the Humans with his tiger like eyes. His glare was enough to stop a man in fear. He appeared behind the Human, and whispered in his ear, "Dont look down..." As quickly as he had appeared behind the man, he sank straight down into a shadow. Leaping straight out from underneath the Human, he shot out of the shadow like a bullet. He didnt feel like making this messy, so instead, he intended to smash the man's jaw with the hilt of his blade.

OOC: When you said that the primary objective is to escape, I hope you didn't mind how

IC:

Blank's eyes froze as the electricity erupted around the room. Alpha was among the more prominent magic users in Hyrule; this newly formed guild was indeed fortunate to have the mage leading them. Of course, Blank was not going to stand there while a Knight attempted to haul him off to jail.

Taking advantage of the brief pause in action caused by Alpha's Rohtric Carrse ability, the nomad elbowed his captor in the face and sidestepped around him, pressing the tip of a blade into the offender's back. He then pulled his other worn sword up to the Knight's throat, coming dangerously close to his jugular. Blank whispered into his ear, threatening something along the lines of "Tell your friends to step aside and let us pass, and I'll be happy to let you go." The sword dug into the Knight's neck ever so slightly; it would not be right to even think of killing the man.

"Come on, now," he whispered, his warm breath whistling into the soldier's ear. "Just let us go freely, or you won't live to see the outcome of this scuffle. I don't want to kill you, the Zora doesn't want to kill you, the woman knows far greater honor than that, the boy probably hopes for everything but bloodshed, the samurai is not so cruel as to kill you, and the Sheikah..." He paused, and gazed upward with a thoughtful grin on his face. "Anyway," he continued, "the fact is that we're not going with you. Now step aside."

OOC: I'm thinking that we need a Talent called Take Hostage or something that can be bought, because this hardly seems like it should be legal XD

Rose didn't want to do it, but it seemed like she had no choice. Well, if she was going to shapeshift, then it was going to be something the guards would have a hard time looking for. It was a mythical beast, described by parents wishing to get their children into bed at the end of the day. She brought up the memory of the picture she had drew of one when she was a young teenager, using it as the basis of her transformation. Within a second or so, she turned into a bear. But not just any bear. Her body was covered in feathers, and her head was more avian than mammalian. She had turned into an owlbear.

OOC: Woot! An owlbear!

IC:
Without a doubt, the knight that had grabbed hold of her was no longer holding on to her. She turned around, and did something she pretty sure was unlike an owlbear. She brought her one of her paws over her head and let it drop on the knight, hoping only to knock him out.

OOC: Blank, according to this topic's Hylian Knights, we're already an illegal group; might as well have illegal techniques.

IC:
Alex's Thunder attack falls many Knights long before its remaining energy is conducted into Alpha's staff. Dogura's swift attack knocks out his captor, and Blank's predator-turned-prey hardly even breathes during the time it takes for the Nomad to switch their roles around. As Rose's transformation also arises, another one falls to the ground by the shear force of her fist . . . er, paw.

Those that retain consciousness stand fast with Orderly pride, not even listening to Blank's attempts to pacify the situation. "They're going to kill us all!" the leader of the group shouts. "Stand fast, men! We will defeat this great evil, or die tryi-" His words are cut off as Alpha's fuse finally snaps. Electricity slices outward from his staff as he initiates a flurry of Rohtric Dwors attacks. Soon, the only man left standing is Blank's captive, whose enraged eyes burn with a desire for vengeance.

"Don't move," Alpha commands, a tired tone in his voice. This pointless battling is annoying beyond belief. "Despite Blank's . . . hesitation . . . I see no reason to kill you either. I don't kill people for being misguided idiots." He turns his annoyed glance over to the fallen Knights. "They're all just unconscious - so's the Goron, if you people knew that you can't feel their pulses in their necks; you have to use the wrists on the stone eaters. Thirty minutes and they'll all wake up again, fine and well . . . though it will be days before the little muscles spasms fade away," he adds thoughtfully.

In a flash, the Sheikah's fist rises above his head and comes down in a thunderous blow to the man's noggin. His form crumples instantly, his chin actually coming to rest on the flat portion of Blank's sword. "You, on the other hand, will only have to deal with a major headache," Alpha concludes.

Turning back to the other Twilight Guardians, Alpha nods. "Alright, we've got to get out of here immediately; who knows when more of these fools will show up. We're going to need to find some way to get to the Shrine of Spirit, or at least to Parapa; once we reach the land of the Exiles we shouldn't have too much trouble with the royalty's forces.

"I propose we separate, leave town in our own ways, and meet again in, say, Rauru Town. Word of this won't reach there too terribly soon; we ought to have some time to rest before the Rauru faction of Hylian Knights come after us."

Blank nodded and returned his swords to their sheathes on his back, letting the unconscious Hylian Knight fall forward and land with a hefty thump on the hard floor of the Tavern. He shook his head and stepped over the man's still form and slumped down in a chair, letting his weary bones relax before he made the trip out of town.

"Rauru it is, then. It's going to be a long trek to Parapa; I'm hoping we don't run into any Knights along the way. The whole Kingdom's in an upstart over the Exiles, I wouldn't be surprised if they have entire legions patrolling the countryside. Just because we've subdued these clowns is no big feat, we're still wanted men... and woman," he added with an embarrassed smirk.

"Well, we'd best get out of this town as quickly as possible. I'll meet the rest of you at the Stock Pot Inn whenever you get there." Standing up and stretching, Blank stepped back over the Knight's fallen body and proceeded to the open door. He stepped over the threshold with a disappointed expression on his face. It would be a long time until Blank would be able to wander the streets of Castle Town in peace again.

A few moments passed, and the door was whipped open. In stepped Blank, ignoring his comrades and walking to the bartender's counter. He extracted from his jerkin a pocket-sized flask. He handed it to the bartender with a smile and said, "Fill this up, will ya?" He set an appropriate sum of Rupees on the counter, grabbed the flask and wandered out, looking momentarily back towards the others. "Now I'm going," he laughed, and closed the door behind him.

"Parapa..." said Alex exhausted holding to a chair, he breathed in and out a few times before he could finally say something intelligible "You still know I hate deserts, right? But anyway I´ll rather be there than in this Order inferno; I know of some some merchants that are willing to pay me a favor, I can hide in their cart all the way to Rauru, or at least to open field, so I´ll be going" he made a little bow, which looked more like a nod and started walking out of the tavern, but as he did he gave a satisfactory kick in the ribs to an unconscious Deku (OOC: assuming it´s still there).
Then he walked out into the street and was slowly lost in the shadowy alleys.

Dogura sheathed his sword, and looked sternly towards the bar tender, hoping that he had not called for more knights. "So Alpha, do you have a plan on how exactly we're getting to Parapa? I would guess the only way is by boat. I've heard that the cave leading into the desert had a massive cave in." (OOC:You cannot pass through the cave anymore. I've resorted to links) "Whatever the case, we'll have more time to plan in Rauru." Dogura grabbed the clipboard which he had left on the counter. Stuffing it into a pocket in his armor, he stepped over the unconcious knights, and opened the doorway. "The coast looks clear. I'll meet you all in Rauru!" Dogura said, just before exiting the small tavern, planning ahead as to what they would do, as he silently crept out of North Castle.

OOC: I LOVE THIS!! We need matching uniforms now! We'll be feared amoung men!! See you guys in Rauru!

Tayro just grinned at the corner as his guildmates finished the gathering in a quite explosive and fiery way, literally. The boy wanted to participate too, but the Goron restraining him did not desire that occurrence, restraining the teenager to move any further. Even when Rose came to his rescue - a reverse of the stereotypical role - the boy was unable to continue the fight, as everyone else was already over it. These guards were supposedly tough, but compared to other forces, like the Hakiems Tribe or any of those evil armies, they were quite easy to deal with. If such was true, then good deal they were all there to protect the population, seeing they would definitely not live with pathetic creeps like these to guard them. Well, their main intention would not be guarding them, but guarding the Royal Family... but seeing that those 'rulers' - Tayro scoffed at that notion - lived in North Castle, and that said population lived in a town surrounding it, the Hylian Guards would have no other option than to aid them as well. Still, he had to admit, this was quite a powerful guild, everyone having special powers... though some - like himself - had not discovered them yet.

Well, Alpha was a very powerful mage with a great control over lightning, and being able to use that realm of shadows, the so-called Void, uneven-ed the scale even further. Blank, although not possessing magical skills - at least to what the mage apprentice knew - was quite agile and deft with the sword, a quite valuable quality. Alex could invoke his ancestors' spirits to aid him in battle, even if it proved to also be a pain. Rose, besides her quite natural leading skills was also a valuable asset with her morphing ability, allowing her to turn into unimaginable creatures at the least likely moment. Dogura was quite powerful and agile able to destroy his opponents easily, besides the fact of having another persona - a dark one - inside him. Tayro... was just Tayro. Young, naive, and a cheerful personality, yet still a curious teenager with some skill in magic and a good capability to solve problems. Yep, that was him. The six of them were the Twilight Guardians now, the ones who were currently beating the Guards and lighting the tavern on fire, just to unlight it a few moments later. It didn't take them long to knock out the men, thus having passage out of here.

Hearing Alpha, their guild leader, announce their next destination, the boy smiled at them and waved goodbye as he opened the tavern doors into the world outside. He grinned. This is going to be so much fun!
