‘That’s enough, I think.’ Xeon smiled to himself as he stopped walking and flicked his finger carelessly at the moblin. The soulless beast stopped dead in its tracks, its teeth clamped on the neck of a fallen wizzrobe. The necromancer dropped his finger, and the moblin fell with its motion. Xeon stretched with a big smile of self satisfaction on his face.
“A day’s work, well done, I think.”
He rubbed his hands together, as if getting for a wonderful feast. He walked back towards the fallen gate, walking through the killings carelessly. He saw a mage from the corner of his eyes, a dark haired scoundrel, it seemed. He had green eyes and black hair, a feature that Xeon that was common and boring, compared to his looks. The Necromancer walked towards Masakazu with a bounce in his steps, finding the battle much too boring and easy, and a duel might liven it up a bit.
“Hey, you, there.”
Xeon levitated a piece of pebble that was lying close to his feet with a swift flourish of his finger. The pebble flicked across the air, hitting Masakazu straight on the shoulder.
“How ‘bout a test of the powers, hm?”
Ooc: I think Sakiko said that this is godmodding, but I’ll just say she said I could do it.

Arrika fortunately didn't get the full damage of the Wizzrobe's attack, having attempted to leap out of the way herself, but it caused a small explosion that sent her hurtling towards one of the buildings. She hit the stone walls hard, collapsing to the ground with her hair singed and her clothes and one of her arms burned badly. Bits of rubble had bruised and cut her as well, and a random end of a spear had slashed the side of her face in the explosion. The Sheikah lay buried under a small portion of a wall, and with horror the corpse of General Taimat as well. With a sickening lurch she managed to find the strength to shove his remains off her, but cried out in pain as every muscle in her body screamed in fiery protest.
What pained her most, though, wasn't the attack she'd valiantly put herself in the way for. It was Sakiko's lack of appreciation for it.
Of all the stupidest ideas I've ever had... I should have just let them die.
Arrika spat the accumulating blood that leaked through the corner of her mouth, hoping her stunt hadn't given her any lasting damage. She was in no shape to fight as of now, and if a soldier found her she was as good as dead. Her head started to spin and throb from the crash, and she tried to stand. Her right arm twinged horribly, and with a pang she realized it was broken and now useless.
"Damn her... I... I hate her...." She said through gritted teeth. As the smoke cleared she saw a figure approaching- if it was an enemy soldier this would be her last breath, unless she played dead successfully.
"Seth! Seth-" Arrika coughed, the smoke making her throat itch. "Seth- get- get Rhyss..."
Seth continued walking forward at the same leisurely pace, a grim smile on his face.

Masakazu turned around, to find a frail looking young man smiling up at him like a fool. The mage snarled, throwing the limp corpse of a myrmidon. He showed his teeth savagely, the corners of his lips turned up into what seemed like a smile. Wiping his bloody hands on his pants, he hissed, “A test of powers? Might I know your name before I kill you, to do you an honor?”
He circled around Xeon tensely. He did not even know the stranger, but something about him reeked of danger and suspicion.

Xanatos frowned at Sovelis. His defeat in the temple of Nayru wouldn't go unnremedied. "Sovelis. You cut my back open. Funny, though; I thought you were killed." The fifth star said, raising his sword again towards Sovelis. "This time, I will make sure you do not get up again." He said confidently, and swung.
It was mid-swing when the blade was stopped. Not by Sovelis, but by a behemoth larger than any man; Jormund Gobi, who had raced to this spot. The blade of Xanatos was bent in Jormund's left hand. "Y-you!" Xanatos said, and tried to take a step back.
He died before he could move an inch, Gobi's right fist had punched strait through his chest, and ripped out his heart. Xanatos fell to the ground, for what seemed an eternity, before hitting the floor, unmoving.
"Now, I believe that's two kills I have had tonight." Gobi said, turning around slowly to face Sovelis. "And you . . . why are you here? I believe you were given a mission, let Worru here see death," He started, gesturing at Worru, "You completed your job, I am taking over now.l" The demon finished, and returned to looking across at Worru, who was lying on the ground.
"Why do you stay there, child?" Gobi asked walking over. As he did so, his power simply flowed out of his body, and nearby buildings and other structures creaked under the pressure. "You are a descendant of Gobi, stand tall and proud!" Jormund commanded, pulling Worru to his feet. Next, the giant picked up Worru's scythe, and forced it into his hand, then took a few giant steps back. "Now, boy, face me!" He ordered again, a large, black scythe in his hand.
OOC: It looks like i'll just have to let Sakiko and Arrika keep going, I love the way their fight is turning out. Would make an excellent TV show. I'll just let it continue for now.
As for Alpha, however; his negligence to post will be punished!
IC: THUNK.
Cormoros smiled, his blade had made contact with it's target, Noval's, shoulder, and made a nice, satisfying cut. However, something bothered Cormoros. "Oi, you. Why didn't you dodge? Because you didn't want to?" His eyes squinted. "Or was it because you couldn't?"

Worru shook, his entire body only moving due to the violent shivers, his scythe almost close to falling out of his hands, but held on due to his grip, having had increased with the fear. "W-W-Why!?" he asked, teeth chattering as his eyes could not be seen from under the large helmet he had chosen to wear for some strange reason. "I don't even know who you are! I'm not any descendant of Gobi!" he yelled, trying to get an answer from the strange tall man.
-----------------------------
Being and Smiley stopped their fight, now leaving the entire battle, as to ready themselves for the Tempest's visit. They needed to start now, seeing the place Being had chosen for the meeting hadn't been seen, nor visited in ages.
-----------------------------
"Do not fear death, my comrades!" yelled Reginald, as he ran through the battle, only going in one direction, with no real idea why he had chosen to go this way.
OOC: Worru's kinda...blocked out the entire even where he learned he was related to you, Kasei.

"Seth..?" Arrika said, apprehension filling her. What was wrong with the little thief? Couldn't he see she was dying?
Seth kept walking striding forward at an unbearably slow rate, lowering himself to come face to face with her. In one quick motion he grabbed her right arm, twisting it sharply until she cried out in pain. She struggled with him, but in her current condition he was much stronger than her. A sick smile spread across his face.
"You little bastard! What the hell do you think you're doing, Seth?" Arrika cried, holding back sobs.
"Don't you get it?" He said, his voice barely more than a whisper.
"Let go-" Arrika said, but one of Seth's older visions flooded through her.
Seth wrote:
An older Seth found himself crouched on the ground, drowning in his own blood. He looked up into his attacker's face for what he felt would be the last time. As it was a windy night, a gale blew away their hood, revealing a Sheikah's face, darkened by the shadows of her black hair. Such dark eyes, seemingly without emotion.
The Sheikah raised her arm to deliver the final blow with a jagged, blood stained sword.
"Stop." A figure behind Arrika moved, his voice high and cold. "I think the traitor has learned his lesson by now."
Without hesitating the Sheikah sheathed her blade, turning away sharply and putting on her hood again.
"Heh... but you know... someone had to try and stop you..." Seth felt himself say, the taste of blood filling his mouth. In his dream Seth felt himself switch into a third person view. So maybe he was wrong... maybe in the end, he would be the one to betray the Tempest.
"You see? If you die, I'll be free. I'll live forever..."
OoC: Woah, that's like... the 3rd or 4th time that one vision has been quoted...

OOC: Negligence . . . right . . . yeah, it had nothing to do with the fact that I hardly had enough time to even think about HA2 for the past two weeks . . . no, definitely not . . .
IC:
Noval's eyes dart to the side, not widening in the slightest as Cormoros' blade slashes through his shoulder and leaves a nice mark. The pain arcing through his body is severe, but his face remains firm, his very being focused solely on the fight. Amazing how fast that last attack had come; after a day's worth of fighting weaklings the abrupt difference simply wasn't something that he could cope with right at once. Well . . . there was another reason . . .
It really is a force of habit, one that he finds hurting himself for the first time that he can remember. All throughout the day he has had this same trouble, but coupling it with the sharp increase in skill of this being has placed him at a serious disadvantage from the get-go. It has become his normal method during a fight to first read the minds of those he is facing, discover their style and preferred tactics, then work with that information to make himself unstoppable.
But with his mental powers seeming to fail him . . .
"A bit distracted, that's all," Richarn replies with a shrug as he weaves his way back a few steps, his left side in pain but apparently still quite functionable. His blade comes up as he shifts back into the styles of his own training, a stance he has not had to make use of for at least forty years, since the day when he had completed his training under his Golden Hylian predecessor, Renkas Severiol. 'Good thing if I learned one thing from Master Renkas, it was that not needing to use a skill does not mean you can allow it to atrophy.' He gives the . . . creature . . . a confident grin. "You will have to forgive me. It appears that I failed to take in to account the idea that it might actually be worth my while to pay attention to you."
He steps back with his right leg, placing his weight on it as his sword rises up in the same side's hand, lancing outward with its point glaring straight at Cormoros. He sits there waiting, the pain in his shoulder being the deciding fact in whether he will be aggressive or defensive. The latter is selected, and he stands his ground while waiting for the demonic figure to strike again.
* * *
Shada races through the streets, taking down any enemies that she comes across with a flourish of daggers, almost dancing along amidst the crimson pathway she leaves in her wake . . . well, mostly crimson. There's some green, a little blue, and then some heavy black mixed in their as well. Depends on the species' coloration of blood, really.
Her backstepping away from a falling Moblin brings her dagger spinning behind her, cutting away at a Kargaroc that has the misfortune of getting too close to the ground. A presence to her left sends her second blade slicing in that direction, only to meet a similar blade of much longer length. One double take and several blinks later, her surprised voice chimes out, "Yukie?"
The Deku rolls his eyes in annoyance. "Geez whiz, girly, ya think ya could git any more entranced by da spectacle o' death?" A few more blinks precede her loosing her stance and sparing a glance behind her. When she turns back to face him, she's managed quite a feat: somehow simultaneously seeming to blush in embarrassment and pale in shock at her handiwork. "Well, never ya mind that. C'mon, we got ourselves a purty important mission."
Shada looks at him quizzically, her eyes widening slightly. "How do you know about Noval?"
The Deku turns back. "Noval? Who said anythin' about him?" His sword rises upward, pointing over the rooftops. Shada finds her mouth standing agape as she gazes upon the spiraling vortex of wind and earth energy, two opposing elements merging into one to form a devastating beast of destruction. "Never seen somethin' like that, but it's got some purty powerful magic comin' from inside it. You and me, we're a gonna find out if that thing's a friend er a foe."
* * *
Wraith sees only the Knights and beasts standing in the path of his massive, ever expanding Earthbound Hurricane. Had he heard Yukie's words, he would have laughed his heart out, recalling old words oft spoken during his time within the criminal underground:
'In this business, there are no friends or foes - just helpers and victims.'
And so far, he hasn't seen anyone worthy of the title of helper.
* * *
Koura slinks over to Yassen, her smile mustering every ounce of natural feminine charm held by the Gerudo women, as well as everything she has learned over the years aiding in her seductive manner. "Well, I don't know about that, honey," she says in a calm, silky voice as she reaches him, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial volume as she leans on down next to the assassin's ear, whispering the next words as her soft lips brush up against his skin. Her left hand rises up, brushing over his clothes as she places her fingers right over his heart. "After all, my teacher always used to tell me that Gerudo are the best in . . . pleasing a man.
"She had a little rhyme concerning payment . . . always gold for Gerudo, only gold for Gerudo." She lifts her face away from his side, meeting his gaze with her own. She doesn't change her tone or rhythm as she finishes the hasty improvised melody, so that for all those involved it ought to be too late for them to react by the time the words' import are realized. "Always gold for Gerudo,
"Goldforce Power: Gerudo."
She doesn't even have to make any motions; the swirling energy sandstorm of energy is unleashed by those mere words. And if history is any judge, every being within a couple hundred square meters will soon find themselves passing onto the next life as their very bodies are ripped apart by the Gerudo Goldforce.

OOC: Now now, Alpha, we can discuss how much jelousy I have for you after cormoros is soundly defeated.
as for Worru; it doesn't matter. gobi will beat that memory back into you, or maybe just his fist. Get Reginald there PRONTO!
Also, to note: He's about 10.5 feet tall, meaning he could raise his knee and send you flying.
IC: Jormund frowned as Xanatos' heart still clutched in his hand. It burst, sending blood everywhere, including onto Jormund's clothes. "Bah, boy. I can see it in your heart, you, just like me, carry the blood of the true natives of this land!" He raised the scythe. "Do not hide your inheritance, there is no need in this, the heat of battle!" The giant roared, slammin his weapon down just next to Worru, causing a nice, deep crack to form in the ground. He regained his composure. "I shall say it again, boy, face me as a true man!" He ordered, ignoring Sovelis.
Elsewhere in the fray of the battle, knights and monsters alike fell. Some were due to their enemies blades. Others were ripped apart by beings like Wraith, who spared noone.
Situations like Arrika's were everywhere. However, none were recieving the information that hers was. Before Seth could use his blade to commit murder, another, slightly older, man appeared, Kairos. His left hand was firmly wrapped around Seth's, it was a binding grip, one that threatened to break Seth's bones.
"Raising your hand to a lady is so barbaric." The man said, a small dagger in his right hand. In one fluid movement, he pulled Seth from Arrika, and stabbed the dagger into Seth's shoulder. "Show manners. You'll live longer."
OOC: if that's not what you wanted, just say that something else appeared and stopped Kairos.
IC:
Cormoros' rotten mouth formed a large grin. "Ah. It seems that we have another cocky one on our hands. Sorry to tell you, boy, but you will regret having that smart-ass attitude, because now i'm gonna [RG Edit: Um, I don't really think that kind of language is necessary for the game, sorry.]KILL YOU!" The undead said as he raised his blade again, swinging in a large arc towards Noval's neck. He put enough energy behind his blade to make sure it wouldn't be blockable. He smiled, believing he had won . . .
The figure lurked in the ruins of a nearby building, it watched as Wraith killed all in it's path, using powerfull magic. The figure smiled. This was the time to have fun, at last. It raised one of its broken, wooden hands, and pointed at Wraith. The effect was instantainious; the Earthbound Hurricane, was instantly dispersed into nothing but fragments of magic on the wind. "Heheheh. Let's see you find me."
On yet another side of the battle, countless members of the hoard army were torn appart instantly as the Gerudo Goldforce passed by them, ending their already short lives. It was starting to look like a Hylian victory.

OoC: That was fine.
IC: Seth screeched in pain and fell to the ground, letting go of Arrika and scrabbling uselessly at the dagger embedded in his shoulder. Eyes slitted angrily like a cat's, he cursed himself for having gotten so wrapped up in the moment that he had ignored the visions of Kairos's blade.
Arrika shuddered violently as she hit the ground after Seth dropped her. She looked up at Kairos through bleary eyes, hoping that if he was an enemy soldier he would kill her quickly. Even though she could barely stand the pain she could think of nothing but getting her revenge of Seth. The chance that Kairos could end her life in a few seconds motivated her even more.
Using her last reserves of energy she stood and barreled into Seth, who was trying to scramble away. Both thieves fell to the ground. Seth tried to throw her off but she had one hand wrapped tightly around his scarf, choking him mercilessly.

OOC: After hours of nagging from Sakiko….
IC: Xeon smiled, his eyes flashing. He watched almost carelessly as Masakazu began to circle him. He suggested in a polite, tranquil voice,
“Since we’re both mages, how about a challenge for both of us?”
He showed his palms, his sharp teeth glinting.
“No magic.”
The Necromancer scratched his chin lazily, and winked,
“You can’t beat Xeon when it comes down to magic, you know.”

Ooc: I did not nag for hours... you exaggerating little *b* word.
IC: Masakazu grinned, mouthing his opponent's name with an amused look.
"Xeon? Heh, what a prissy name."
The mage jumped, twirling his fingers around his jet black locks. He was in a crouched position, like a savage animal, ready to attack. His eyes were turned upwards, blazing green and angry. He hissed,
"...no magic...? Wouldn't that put you at a disadvantage?"
He did not wait for a reply as he leaped, his feet leaving the ground for a split second, his body leaning forwards, his arms outstretched. In his hands, he held a long sword, its blade clashing against the light and forming a long ray of flashing beams. He held suspended in the air, then came crashing down, accelerating towards Xeon. His blade came in contact with the Necromancer's chest, leaving a long cut on Xeon's overly clean shirt.
------------------------------
Sakiko coughed, the dust and smoke stinging her eyes and nose. She put a bloody sleeve on her face as she ran around, looking for survivors. Her bloodlust had left her entirely, leaving her sober and somewhat pained. Her boot touched a fleshy hand, one that was bloodied and soiled. A soldier layed gasping for breath, his eyes glazed. The mage knelt down beside him, and asked,
"Where does it hurt?"
Suddenly, the man put both of his hands around Sakiko's neck, curling his fingers around her pale skin. He hissed,
"Don't try to trick me, witch."
The mage coughed, her eyes watering from the lack of oxygen. She grapsed his hands in hers, trying to pry them away. Reluctantly, she coated her hands in fire, sending the man crying with agony. Sakiko hesitated, wondering if she should finish him. He tried to kill her after all....The mage turned away, looking for more hurt ones, and hoping that they wouldn't try to strangle her.

Worru tried not to shiver, but it was like his entire body was convulsing. "What true man are you talking about!? I am still a kid!", he yelled at the giant, from under his helmet. what is wrong with this guy? Shouldn't he find Aria if he wants a descendant of Gobi!?, was his thoughts, before the skeletal man appeared right before him, between Jourmand, and the young boy.
His eyes a burning red, the blade of his scythe gleaming from under the blood. "You shall not hurt my son, you husk of a man!", Reginald yelled, as energy gathered before his eyes, but he turned and destroyed a building, instead of trying to harm the giant Gobi. The skull turned to Worru, and spoke to the young boy, who was not afraid of the creature before him, for some reason. "Son, I shall stop him for now, you must go and be safe."

OoC: Ugh... I'll stop being lazy now... And this happens before Sovelis meets Zaboorak, so he doesn't know what Gobi really is yet.
IC:
Sovelis had stood there, shocked at how quickly Gobi disposed of Xanatos. The man had almost killed him once before, and yet his fellow general had killed the Hylian in less than a second. W-what kind of monster can he be? I couldn't kill Xanatos that quickly unless I had opened three or four of the Limit Seals... Can there be beings with this much power in this world?
Then, the Skeletal Father of Worru showed up, threatened Gobi, and blasted a building with a glance. I didn't see that one coming... Good thing My house isn't really here in Rauru.. just the doorway to it. They destroy the building with the doorway in it, and I'll just have to open a new one up. Sovelis stepped back, letting the other twelve swords of his vanish from the air. "Alright Gobi... You take c-care of them... I'll go help out somewhere else in the battle. Can't let everyone else have all the fun, now can I?" and with these words, he dashed off, running towards the noise of the still raging fight, his sword ready to cut down anything that stood in his path....
OoC Again: Would someone put someone or something in my way? I want to kill something.

'Cocky? Hardly, I'm just trying to accurately assess the situation -' That's just one of the ways Noval considers answering his opponent's words, but he decides instead to sheathe his smalltalk and unsheathe his swordsmanship. He listens to the harsh words of Cormoros, the undead's overzealous desire to do away with him almost causing him to change his mind about the smalltalk - this man needs some lessons in the art concealing one's emotions. He's much too easy to read this way.
But such things are not his concern - defeating this creature, this general of the Dark Army, is all that matters right now. But with all his angry words and talking, it is easy to see his attack coming, and from there determine its striking point and the amount of power being placed behind the attack. Overzealous had been a good way to describe the man, for he is putting far too much effort into a simple strike to the throat.
His grin fades away in a flash, his focus becoming singular in the moment of battle. The Golden Hylian's sword reaches out, making contact with his foe's blade - but not pressing hard against it. Instead he uses its momentum to dictate the way that his body will be turned, and then brings the other side's foot up to slam into the dark general's side.
* * *
*Blink-blink*
Silence. There was not supposed to be silence. Screams of pain, the roar of an uncontrollable wind, and the blast of destructive blast after blast as chunks of earth - those were the things that were expected of a spell of the power of the Earthbound Hurricane.
Wraith's eyes open in a flash, his crimson pupils wide with amazement. There was a presence in the air, one which had exerted its aura upon him mere moments before the spells had dissipated. Something that being had done must have been the source of the sudden calm. Not even bothering to take note of the bodies and body parts of multiple creatures, the boulders that have suddenly smashed armies and buildings all around him, and the all encompassing stench of war and death in the air, his vision shifts directly in the direction of that presence.
Surprisingly, he is not angry with the man, whoever he may be. Rather, he is intrigued - amazed that someone in this area would be able to do such a thing. Amazed that such a thing is possible at all, really. His curiosity aroused, the Sheikah begins a silent, steady stroll in the direction of the presence, seeking out this incredible person.

Ooc: I will be willing to create an obstacle for you, Sovelis... but I think Zeze will be too weak... but thats ok...
And as for Xeon, post more!!! I wanna kill you already!!!
IC:
Zeze bit her lips bitterly, angry at both Arrika and Sakiko. Maybe it would've been better to die than this. She watched with frustration as more and more Hylian forces fell to their deaths. She couldn't sit here with Laido all day! Zeze got to her feet and slung Laido on her back. She ignored his protest that he could walk as she began to run.
"I'm...gonna...find you a safer place, Laido.."
She ran deeper into Rauru town, where the battle was thinner. She gently sat Laido down on one of the doorsteps of the houses as she hugged him. "I'll be back before you can say...um...I can't think of a word right now. But my point is that I'll be back in a snnaaappp!"
Zeze planted a kiss on his cheek before flying away, her emerald eyes hardened with anger. She expertly swung her long sword around with a flourish, slicing the necks of the Dark. The bard stopped, suddenly seeing Sovelis from the corner of her eyes. Her face froze in a glare. It was his fault that Arrika was no longer her friend. She stepped towards the Tempest, knowing that she was really no match for him, and she knew her limited powers. However, her anger made her rash, void of sense.
Zapheta pointed the tip of her sword at Sovelis.
"You! Sovelis, was it? You look bored - so how about a sword fight, eh?"

Sakiko turned around, hearing Zeze's voice. Her silver locks of hair whipped her face as she grew pale. Was that idiot crazy? She was about to stop Zeze when she felt a sharp object piercing her side. She called out in pain, and gripped her bleeding side. She turned around, seeing a moblin sinking its infested teeth into her flesh. She kicked at the ugly body roughly, and sent it flying with a wind spell.
