"If you're going to ram someone, ram me, you damn pig!" Rose shouts, performing an upslash on it.

OOC: Uh... nope. Not anymore. But I shall be the hero all the same .

IC: Nogare flew back. He needed to defeat this monster alone, if possible. It is an honourable way to die... fighting for those he must save. He found his nose, his forehead, his legs, his hands, and every other part of him was covered with blood. His left ring finger that had been cut off weeks before burned like nothing else.
But pain is not the same as death, he remembered his father telling him, death his just another path. Everyone must take it some day. White shores... beauty... he knew he would willingly take this path...

Nogare charged at Kroperg with full power, taking considence in himself. He jumped as high as he could, gabbing onto the horn-teeth of the beast, and made his stand on it's face. He then jabbed the sword down, into it's face. He would take this path, if fate made it so...

He hears Rose's shouts. No, Rose. It is me who must be taken, not you... you must live on... everyone here should live in. But some have fallen into the shadow... I will not let that happen to you! He didn't say these words aloud, though, because he knew he needed to save his energy for killing the monster!

Barely able to stand Raven lurches up off the floor. His breathing is shallow and he is covered in so many burns that just taking a step causes him treamedous pain (yet still his clothes were slightly damp) but seeing how several of the group has fallen around him he feels he must be doing something right. His grip on his dagger remains strong and he takes the battle to the overgrown pig once again.

He waits for the Kroperg to get close then makes the final dash to - attempt - to slash his dagger though the side of the beast. Yelling in pain and enthusiasm.

As Rose drives upward with her dagger, the beast rears back on its hind legs in order to avoid the blow (1+4[Roll+AGI]). When it crashes back to the ground, the entire room shakes noticeably.

Nogare's blade, on the other hand, has no chance of missing (19+3[Roll+AGI]) and stabs right into the beast's forehead. As its 8 DMG is dealt, the Kroperg swings its head around, throwing Nogare off of it. Then, for some unknown reason, it comes to a dead stop...not moving...barely even breathing - though the breaths it does take are more akin to panting...and its eyelids fall over the eyes.

Is it dead? You might be tempted to think so, until you feel the steadily growing warmth eminating from its body...

Raven's strike proves that it still lives on, as the blade slices into its side and takes out 7 more HP. A grunt is heard from the pig's throat as it feels the pain...but chooses not to acknowledge it.

Kroperg: 25 HP

OOC: And, hey! Just noticed this, but...congratulations Red Fury, for growing another level!

"Damn, stay stilll," Rose pants. But her arms so no sign of weariness as she swings her sword down onto Kroperg.

OOC: Hmm, I think we might actually finish off Kroperg today.

Damn, I hope I didn't just jinx us.

Dogura watched his comrades, friends, and allys fall around him. He was on the brink of a transformation, but he didnt want to transform. "I mus'nt." He muttered, trying to stand to his feet, but failing every attempt to regain balance. His body was badly burnt, and his left arm, which he was using to sheild his eyes, was charred black, and the burning flesh was giving off a foul odor. "I-I cant die...." Those were his last thoughts. He couldnt use Favor of the Godesses, for he was already on the brink of death.

Just as the colors began to fade, he heard the faint sound of nogare's voice, and a blurry vision filled his eyes. FAVor of the godess was all he heard before his vision and hearing faded. Then, colors filled his mind, not before seen to hyrule, as he jolted awake, feeling renewd. He held up his left arm, and it was no longer crispy! He was almost fully healed, except for an ache in his head, and a gash on his left shoulder.

"Thanks Nogare." Dogura said, now feeling ready to help out once again. He raised hios blade, which shined in light that had no source. It was sheerly will, power, courage, spirit, and the grace of the godesses that kept him from giving up. "For Alpha! For Denning! For Grenada! For Cloud! For Link, and our dear departed Darlian! We must fight!" He shouted, now feeling a presence about him, that he had felt once long ago, when his father would bid him goodnight, and he felt power coursing through his veins. Shiekah, and Hylian alike!

He urged the godesses for more of their healing magic, this time for Victor, who was in critical condition, yet amazingly on his feet. After his prayer was heard, he jumped high, comming down on the beast. He felt as if his father were right there with him, giving his strength as well, as he drove his blade into the beasts head.

OOC: Thanks Nogare, I was like Oh $h1t 3 HP!!! lol! Well, now Kamakazi can fight again, and us Hylians need to cast like we never have before. You guys, all start using whatever racial talents are avalable to you, it can turn the tide even more in our favor, and the Kroperg cannot cast the spell again! (I think)

kasei sees all of this in an instant, realising the streanght that these people have, he starts to move around. then, kasei leaves shadowmeld, at a point the beast didn't expect; right in front of him! kasei raises his sword, hoping that this will be the final blow, he slashes down...

Nogare is lucky to not have been hurt when he landed. He got to hid feet, and saw the beast playing dead. It also appeared that Rose and Raven were attacking it. Good. This was his chance. He ran to denning's aid. He cast Favour of the Goddesses on him. He then ran to Victor, healing him.

OOC: Yay! Level 4! *Looks at everybody elses levels* Boo!

IC: Raven makes a faint sound as his dagger hits home, a sound of tiredness and happiness, he tears his dagger out of the Kroperg that seemed to on its last legs and had it been any other creature Raven might have shown a semblance of pity - but not this one. That had pushed him to near death and rendered several of the group unconscious and thrust his dagger back down upon the creature.

OOC: And now, unfortunately, to spoil Red's fun. I apologize in advance.

IC:
Rose's sword hits without fail (11+4[Roll+AGI]), dealing 7 DMG.

One of the Kroperg's eyes open and glances in Rose's direction. An angry crimson look takes the girl in, and then the pig...continues to sit there, opting not to attack when it is supposed to. The reasoning for this is unbeknownst to the adventurers.

But Nogare still loses 3 HP to poison.

Dogura's Innate Check fails (3+5[Roll+INT]), and nothing happens. Victor's health remains at its low point. The Hylian's sword, on the other hand, stabs right into the motionless beast's flesh and deals 9 DMG.

Kasei's attack hits the beast right on its nose, slashing through it with no problem what-so-ever, dealing 8 DMG and taking the Kroperg to almost to its death. But the beast manages to hang on by a thread.

At this point, the Kroperg's reason for remaining motionless becomes apparent: it has been focusing its power. As Shada charges forward in an attempt to finally defeat the beast, fire pours out of its body - not just from its mouth and nose, but from every point on its body comes a fire like none felt previously. 10 DMG is dealt to all members of the party, knocking Shada back as she falls unconscious along with Alex, Azador, Raven, Victor, and Arco.

When the fiery attack softens, the group is shocked to find that a column of flames now surrounds the beast. The floor threatens to give way as the blaze bores into the ground and up through the ceiling, creating an impassable barrier between both groups.

With Denning and Victor both unconscious, Nogare's healing efforts are futile. But it does seem to help stabilize them into a state of sleep.

Oh, and Nogare feels the poison hurt him for the last time, as it takes 3 HP before slipping away as well.

And finally, with Raven now unconscious, he certainly can't attack.

OOC: You are so evil, Alpha.

IC: Rose curses under her breath. She didn't dare go through the flames to attack it, and she didn't like the way the floor looked. So she takes her bow and fires an arrow at Kroperg, hoping it'll survive the flames and hurt the beast.

OOC: By the way, shouldn't I be giving you rupees for every arrow I fire or something?

"ARGH!" He said as the poison acted on him again. This time, though, he failed to ignore it. He fell down, knowing he won't last much longer. I've failed you, father... He said in his head. No one could hear him. He couldn't feel his legs or his arm. He was glad when the poison stopped. It was almost impossible to breathe. He thought he could see them... the white shores... they were calling him.... death was taking him away... but he couldn't let this be the end of him. Was the beast dead? His arms were useless to push him up now, as were his legs. He could only drag himself towards the beast, using his bleeding stomach, and used a final attack... "Honourable Kill!" Were his last words... He jabbed the sword into the closest part of his foe, and wasn't able to witness the victory, for light took him before he could discover what happened...

OOC: That's right, Nogare went through ze flames, and ended his time here. He burned to death, and his inguries were too great to live from...

Lol. Rupees...

Just as he brings down his dagger he is hit by a third a final wave of fire. Raven collapses to the floor. 'Kisama' He utters before he falls in unconsciousness, the grip on his dagger now loose, it jumps out of his hand as he hits the floor.

OOC: Kuso!

kasei mearly watched as is allies threw away their lives, but seeing nogare run in, a tear dropped from the shekah's eye... he got up, and ran to the others to check on their wounds...

Rose's arrow is incinerated even before it hits the flaming vortex. The heat surrounding the column is enough to light it ablaze, proving that the woman is wise to not approach the fire.

OOC: I need some input from Nogare before I continue this...did you really die, or are you being sarcastic!?!
