Or is it? The water that you see is there. Upon discovering the reality of the small pool of water, you start to feel cooler. You don't know if the desert is undergoing a rapid climate change or what, but you know the feeling is good.

In the middle of the pond sits, erm, floats a Zora. The sunlight on his skin is intense. Even if you are not a Zora you can feel the pain he must feel. Thinking that makes this seem like a mirage again. But he is not in pain. He is happy, at least the big toothy grin says so. Despite the substantial amount of light, his eyes show no reflection of it.

"Why hello," Wyndisis says. "Looks like it's been a long time since you've seen any water. But never mind that. May I help you?"

"Hello Zora, I am Denning, cleric of Nayru, what is your name?"

"My name," he says, "is Wyndisis." "Why is it you wander out here, Denning? Is there something you seek? Surely you must be; no one goes through such pain as the burning sands of the desert for nothing."

"Wyndis... know, my master told me of you, I am serching for Marin he is missing and I cannot get to his tower as of now. Hs he been in the desert?"

"Marin, yes, I have heard of him but I never had the pleasure of meeting him. I can get you to his tower if you tell me where it is. And no, he has not been in the desert."

Wyndisis defies the laws of gravity, as well as several other scientific laws, and stands, not in, but on the water. He floats into the air. The water below him swirls and churns, brings itself to something of a boil. It gives off steam. No, not steam, mist, cool and calming mist. The mist surrounds him, becoming a thick, dense blanket. He hovers across the top of the water and sets himself down in front of Denning.

Something is missing in the cloud of water. The equation isn't right. There should be something else in that mist, with it being in such bright sunlight. Not that Denning would notice anyway. People who do so much as gaze at Wyndisis find themselves staring into his black eyes.

The eyes that have the answers. The truth he can make them see.

Around those eyes, Denning can see a change in Wyndisis' face, a furrowing of his brow. He shows something of concern, or perhaps even pain. "I also understand that you come with some new found knowledge," he whispers as though each little grain of sand has the open ears of a conspiritor. "It has to do with a Gerudo being born, a king. The King. Am I correct?"

Shocked, Denning looks at the zora."Well, yes, but how did you know that?

"I have my ways of knowing such things. The child is a threat to Hyrule. You know that, don't you? Surely he is some sort of incarnation of Ganon. He may already hold the triforce of power! Why, by the time he is old enough to speak he could destroy Hyrule!"

"I can stop it now, cant I? Go there and put an end to it before it starts."

Well if this child is so powerful. You know of him is what you stated. Then if you are not his ally, why do you not want to kill him also. Or, is he on a little errand for you? I feel a flawed plan in Wyndisis mind. I will go back to North Castle and think over everythnig Wyndisis has said.

"He must be stopped now. Go Denning. Go to the Parapa Penninsula and slay the infant. The spilling of his wicked blood will rot the core of those who were loyal to Ganon. Every vile monster that cause Hyrule so much trouble will suffer. Think about it, you take out their leader, the leader they have been waiting for, and they will war against one another. Such a simple strategic move it is; they have no one else in mind, so everyone is a leader. Leader kills leader. That is the way it will be, Denning."

Pende had been warily stepping along the sand, looking for wherever taht dang hammer might be. 'Lousy, stupid rock, blocking that dumb pass, if I ever find the hammer to bust it, I'll charge a hefty price for my trouble!' Step after step later, Pende heard voices conspiring against the Gerudo king. 'Killing the Gerudo king and causing mayhem amoung the exiles? It isn't enough that that have to live in that goddessforsaken desert, but they wish to ruin whatever happiness they have left? All by slaying an innocent infant?. Have I been out in this sun for too long?' Pende saw the mirage anfd the others and ran for the refreshing water. 'SO I wasn't dreaming after all, they really do intead to cause such mayhem, I have to stop it! But, I can't convince them to NOT assasinate, it'd look too suspicious.' After cooling himself off, he went to the others and spoke with them.

"What's this I hear about killing the king of the Gerudo? How do you plan to do that?

Wyndisis shoots Pende a glance. A familiar voice in Pende's head says, I will speak with you later.

Pende turned his eyes, but not his head for a moment to the Zora and gave a quick nod. Afterwards, he returned his eyes to the other's excpecting his question to be answered.

What the hay caused me to decide to wander in THIS direction, of all places on this cursed land...now I've gotten my ol' fool self lost! a hylian thought, with a scowl on his rough features.

He knelt down and undid a string around his ankle, absently knocking dust off it--as if that would do any good--and pulls his sweat soaked green hair into a careless ponytail to get it off his neck.

Surely I'll melt before I find my way back outta here-- This time, before he could begin on another bout of self berating, he squints and shields his eyes from the sun with his hand as he notices a bit of steam rise from what appeared to be a small oasis.

Hesitating a bit, he murmers, "Well...I guess I wouldn't have much else to lose to go be nosy...after all, I'm done lost in this sand cursed area." Cautiously, he wanders over.

Denning glances sharply at Pedne."Dont but in!"His voice filled with rage, a red tint in his eyes."Yes, kill him, wait, no! That is , what if he is not of un earthly power? I will kill an inocint either way, jail, dishonor, pity, hatred... I would lose any reputation already made...I can not do that."
