Approaching through the denseness known as the Deku woods, a small shape lays defeated in the brown soil. Deep footsteps lead to the spot where he lays, as if from powerful steps. Staccatoed breathing is pressed from his lungs, and at longer intervals then seem normal. Beside the irregularity, a quiet moan filters into the air.

Upon closer inspection, the figure could be labeled only as the Deku, Grenada. The short black robes flung wildly, hang to his left side limply. The only movement on his body comes from the opening and closing of his right hand around a patch of damp soil by his face.

There are no visible injuries on his body, but the unmoving frame tells of an unglorious defeat. One not brought forth by weapons but by a different means all-together. If one were inspecting close enough, a small tear could have been seen in the crevice of his eye. In a heartbeat, the only evidence is the dirt below.

The breathing remains slow, and the Mercenary unmoving as time freely flows. Minutes pass, and an unrecognizable muttering ensues. A curse is the only sound that searches enough to find an eardrum.

"SO, Grenada was been defeated. Oh, I should help, but he is evil, a threat to Hyrule... what should I do?"
Denning draws his staff.
"My duty is to protect Hyrule, and save its people, evil or not Grenada is one of Hyrule. If he is a threat, I can deal with it latter."
A white and blue light comes from the staff into Grenada.
"Resurect..."
Denning puts his staff on his back and leaves, never turning to see if he did help Grenada.

Leon was surprised when he had heard footsteps.He turned around and stared at the darkness.He drew out his sword and shield,and approached.Leon wasw rather shocked at this--Grenada had fallen,and Denning was now attempting to revive him.He strode over to the two,and said while shaking his head,"How the hell did this happen?".

Dart leaped out of Leon's bag,inspected Grenada and said,"Duh,he's been beaten so now he'sknocked out,or dead.But Resurrection can bring him back...I think.".

"That's not excatly helpful,"Leon snarled at the dragon-humanoid as he taps Grenada's head with his sword in an attempt to awaken his defeated comrade.

At first, Grenada didn't react. 'He just laid there' would be the best way to describe it. Though there was more movement than before. Finally, he rolled over, yet his body still looked as normal as ever. A distraught looked covered his face, eyes filled with anguish. He shakes his head.

"I wasn't... beaten."

He diverts his eyes, not wanting to look Leon in the face.

"Do you understand how it's possible that one can be their own worst enemy? It is the worst feeling you could ever go through, knowing, fearing yourself."

Sitting up, he coughs a few times. Clearing his throat, he continues on.

"I'm sorry... to you, Darilan and K- Shat. I lost control... It's scary knowing that I didn't hesitate to take arms against my close allies."

His voice comes off wheezy, airless. He soon slams his fist into the ground and curses in Deku. He seems to be very dissappointed in himself and his actions.

"Wow...that must've been an evil experience,"Leon says in an understanding voice."But you know,most aggresive people do this.It's like their ease to detonate and explode in firey anger just increased by tenfold,and a tiny ember to the wick sets the cannon off.".He looks at Grenada,and finally says in a calming voice,"What's your...problem,the one that sets you off like a blazing fireball of fury most easily?".

Dart the dragon-humanoid carries on,"Yeah,what's your problem?The more people you tell about it,the easier it gets to solve.".

"That's what I'm trying to figure out. I think it's when I get angry, but... not always. I won't know until afterward, and that's what worries me. To figure it out, it has to happen again. Earlier I was extremely angry at Malciore but nothing happened. I hope I can use it against any enemies we may face, but I don't know how I'll react."

He explains this rather distressedly. His eyes are red like they were when he was angry, but they are different, bloodshot. The combination of his eyes and Deku skin doesn't compliment each other well, and actually makes it look worse.

"I'm sorry, Grenada. Trust me, I know what it's like to have an opponent within," Alpha says as he brushes his hand against his scar. "It's almost impossible to defeat this opponent. And for you, not even knowing what it is that you're facing..." He trails off, saddened by this thought.

"Well...Okay.But I've got one tip for you;when you're provoked,think of calm thoughts and focus on cooling off.Try hard to hold your anger."Leon and Dart said in unison before they strode away.

Grenada felt two emotions at this time. He was happy that Alpha knew what it was like, he wasn't alone... But he was also sad. He felt sorry for Alpha. He nods to Leon, but realizes he had already turned to leave.

"So, what is yours like? What causes it?..."

He had many more questions, but he didn't want an overloading barrage on Alpha all at once. He stopped, deciding to let Alpha tell what he wanted to. He nodded, but he didn't realize that Alpha wouldn't understand.

"Mine...my curse is something that I do not wish to speak of at the present time," Alpha says, saddenness evident in his tone and eyes.

"I hate to see you have to put up with such a struggle, Grenada.," says Darilan. "What is the trouble you face? Some sort of inner being? It was you who lashed out in fury? It was a part of you, wasn't it. If it is, can you destroy it?"

A dark voice speaks to Denning, and only Denning. You did the right thing. Your philosophy is correct. You shall destroy all threats to Hyrule, and save those who uphold it.

"What? Who?"
Denning looks around trying to see who spoke. He can not figure it out.
He fully turns and walks near Grenada.
"So, a battle within? Many have such, I am one of them. Good luck then...Grenada."

*K-Shat sees Grenada in the woods with a few others* "Hey Grenada, what is wrong with you? If there is anything that I can do just let me know, Ok." *K-Shat moves to a near by rock, sits and waits for a response*
