Walking across the desert plains is a black sillouhette. You walk towards the dark figure. You whipe the sweat from your eyes and focus. Standing there is a large goron wearing a black cloak that happened to be stained by the desert winds. His face is decorated with a large scar running down his face. He smiles at you and says hello.

OOC:This post is for anyone who happened to have read on how the goron looked like in the beaten elder topic.

OOC: This would be Grenada and Darilan approaching from the site of the Elder before they reached the Goron.

Grenada's small form passed over a final hill that would lead to an open flat, when he spotted a figure in the distance. A large black mass, that was the first thing, but they would need to find out if he was a goron. Continuing the walk up, his brow was sweaty, the heat being vacuumed into his body by his dark robes. This combined with the weight of his armor, and his legs were growing weary.

As the steps repeated endlessly, he finally could recognize that the figure was a goron. That's when he stopped.

"Darilan, you think that's him? Black robes, Goron in the desert... What's the plan if he is? You're the smart one."

He says with a goading smile, glancing up at Darilan.

"I will go up and talk to him. You stay back, and if I believe him to be the Goron in question, I will signal you to come forward and see for yourself. Be ready to strike."

As Alpha walks away from the cliffs, he spots Grenada and Darilan. He decides to follow them in order to ensure that they don't hurt an innocent Goron. He really doesn't trust the elder's story.
Suddenly he sees, just beyond them, a Goron. 'Is that...the Goron really does exist?' Still, he prepares himself to stop his two allies from doing anything reckless; there's still no evidence that it's a rogue Goron.

"Okay."

Grenada nods, and turns his attention to the goron. 'It has to be him.' Or maybe it was blind desire that made that decision for the Deku. But he waited hoping that Darilan would give the signal.

OOC:I'm sensing a stunt in the growth of this topic. Mabe you're waiting for me to say something;Mabe you just can't think of something to post, or mabe you just haven't seen this topic in a while. Let me just say that if your waiting for me to post, it's not going to happen. I've let Grenada take care of the death of this goron. Yes, the innocent goron will die. Play with your characters, just remember that Grenada is now in contol of the goron.

"Hello there, sir," Darilan says while approaching the Goron. "Are you out here on business, is suppose?"

His face is decorated with a large scar running down his face. He smiles at you and says hello.

"Why yes, I am. I am just finishing delivering this cart of Deku wood to Ruto town."

He says showing the large cart filled as high as possible with wood. He replaces the sheet over it, and returns to the front.

"Are you also on business?"

"I am taking a walk, clearing my mind. You are coming from the Deku Woods? And you are taking it to Ruto Town, eh? That is good. I like to see towns grow." Darilan wished he knew how long ago the old man was attacked. Of course, the Goron could've stole the cart from someone else.

Suddenly his face grows serious.

"I uh... ya, I am. I had best be on my way, can't build anything without the wood."

He says quickly as he lifts the handles and begins the slow process of taking a cart through the loose sand.

I am going to feel so stupid if this isn't the Goron. "Would you mind if I kept you company. Maybe I could help you a bit." Darilan raises his hand and motions Grenada to come forward.

Grenada finally got the signal, now it was the final part. If Darilan thought it was the right goron, it probably was, and Grenada was ready to strike. So he descended down the hill toward the Sheikah and Goron. He didn't know what they had talked about so he didn't have much to say. He joined them with no more than a scowl, and a quiet hello. He noticed the scar on the goron's face and nodded discreetly to Darilan. It had to be him.

-----

He shakes his head, replying gruffly:

"If you want."

He returns to his work, with a couple grunts and powerful steps. He didn't notice the tiny Deku until it's squeeky voice chimed in with a hello. Something wasn't right about them, he could tell. Why was the deku there?

"Oh, don't let him surprise you, he's just short. This is my friend Grenada, who is a..." he struggles to think of what to say, "great benefactor to Hyrule."

He chortles, before allowing his deep booming voice to spread out into the desert.

"Great benefactor... Bwahahaha, he's so puny, he probably can't even benefactor himself! Bwahahaha..."

He continues laughing, even after he receives an angered glare from the Deku.

He never saw it coming, right when he turned his head...

-----

The mercenary launches himself at the goron, but his size is not nearly that needed to tackle the goron, and the deku ends up with his back in the sand. Hopping up quickly, he draws his sword as the Goron drops the cart down hard, and raises his fists in the air very reminiscent of a boxer. Grenada spins and in a lightning quick movement, the blade sit mere inches form the Goron's throat. An obvious change of character is apparant in every aspect, the juxtaposition making distinction between the latter and current. The deku frowns hearing the goron's pathetic cries of mercy and innocence.

“I’ve had enough of your *$%# you deserve no more than a seat in hell, and I’ll gladly send you there.”

He moves his sword from the man’s throat, and in one quick swipe, lops off the Goron’s left foot. There was no way for him to escape now, and Grenada watched him double over holding his left ankle. Crying out in pain, he cries to protest “I didn’t do anything, please leave me alone!” The Deku ignores his nonsense, he would never admit if he did anyway.

His eyes grow to a dark red, redder and blacker than ever before, filled with hatred. It took something extremely evil to harm a helpless old man, and he was about to remove one such example from Hyrule. No one would stop him now.

“Enjoy your last five minutes, you will soon be dead.”

He wouldn’t enjoy it, Grenada was determined to see to that.

Tossing his sword away, he pulls a small dagger from his coat. It gleamed bright in the sun, and was sharper than it should have been. He had never allowed anyone the permission of seeing this blade, but he figured it would add to his reputation. He takes a place behind the seated man, as if taking a hostage. Pulling the hood from the man’s head, he walked his fingers from the back and stopped along the right back side.

"Here..."

He mumbles as he twists the knife next to his neck, the ripping of flesh is unleashed, and a splatter places blood all over Grenada and the surrounding ground. Grenada pushed the knife in until a pop occurs followed by a rush of blood that gets constantly absorbed by the sand, it’s appearance forever stained by this event. Grenada looks up to Darilan, before moving his body away shaking his head to say- he’s not dead yet.

He would survive if he was smart enough, but they never were. He knew this part, as he opened his mouth to scream, it was silenced by the blood came flowing from his maw, but still terrified. Grenada knows there is nothing to stop him from bleeding to death now, blood would continue to flow into his mouth until the time his heart stopped, and the Goron releases another mouthful of the red liquid. This would continue until his inevitable death.

Taking the grip of the knife again, he gives it a slight push that leads to a second pop. One more and he would die, the next would pierce the main artery and he would perish. The goron realizing he’s almost dead gives one last final effort to escape, he thrashes around causing the knife to slice through more of his neck. He stops, he knows it is a lost cause, he has lost too much blood. He’s weak, tired, and covered in blood.

At this time Grenada waits, he sees the blood begin to run from his eyes, and we couldn’t have that. He takes a handful of sand and throws it into the red eyes, procuring a loud scream. Blood sprays everywhere, and his breathing is beginning to slow. Grenada waits only a few more seconds, the crying of the goron cutting wildly through the air, before using the dagger to slash through making a louder pop and covering him in more blood. The body droops hanging low, head nearly severed. He stands up, and is truly amazed at the amount of blood shed by this ogrous fiend.

“It’s done, he’s dead.”

He says with no emotions in his face, but his body show a different story, it’s shaking, he looks weary. Finally his eyes return to normal, though tainted by red lines.

“I guess this robe is ruined...”

He says as he removes the robe revealing his chain mail. He slips his knife into a pocket on his chest after cleaning it on his robes. There was one last deed to be done... Retrieving his sword he prepared to remove the head to show the elder. That was the easy part, and no blood was spilled, thankfully. Wrapping it up in his disgusting robes, he waved for the return to the elder solemnly. He had done what needed to be done, and he hoped that this would make put the elder’s sad soul to rest. The goron would never do that again, and hopefully he would never either.

Alpha turns away from the killing, trying to reassure himself. 'If they hadn't have been sure, they wouldn't have done it. They wouldn't kill an innocent Goron! They could become wanted men in Hyrule! No, no, they must have figured out somehow that the old man really was telling the truth...' But try as he might, he cannot bring himself to believe it. Julian had been near that elder, and Alpha had seen the guilt lodged deeply within the man's eyes. The man had hid it well, but in his heart something had been very, very wrong...
'It's too late now,' he thinks. 'Even if the man did lie, it's too late now.' He silently follows Grenada back to the elder. He pulls his cape around him until he looks like a walking shadow. And as he does so, a touch of guilt comes into his own eyes. 'I didn't stop them. It's my fault...my fault...
'...again.'
