As you walked through the Castle Courtyard, doing whatever you were, you hear someone over by the gate yell "Help! It's the people of Ruto! Sage! Dead! Help! Their going to kill them! Only in a few hours. Help! The Ruto guards are dead. Bandits!"

You see the son of Greyblade approach, and he speaks with the man quietly. You see his grip around his staff harden, and then he turns and faces the crowd of people around, who were looking for the man. "You have heard correct. The Torches of Nyuuyou are lit; the one of Ruto." He seemed to mostly be saying this to Hylian knights, since they knew what he was talking about with the 'Torches of Nyuuyou'.
(Nyuuyou is Hylian for Need) He called out to the rest, "any worthy of fighting, come and help us! As you have heard since the beginning of the year 1979, a year ago, we havge known of the evil summoning in the South. It is now unleashing, it is now seen. Come! Help those in need!" People around gasp and some sob. I will go, but I cannot face off a whole army of whatever has come alone. People, stand for what you know is right." He paused, looking down, then turned to the guard at the gate. "What else does the flame show (They don't only ask for help; they tell what is happening, depending on the fashion that it is lit.)

"They are a gang of bandits, Sir. They are coming from the south."

"North-South Passage..." Nogare murmured under his breath, like it was a curse.
They have desided upon their unleashing. But why attack Ruton before North Castle? They should take North castle, to make it weaker, then take the villages later. He spoke again in a louder voice now, so all could hear. "Come! The times of peace are over. The times of war is about to begin! The fights that have already been risen in the East are but bugs to the future fight. This is but one of the many battles to come! Fight now, and free the people of Hyrule!"


A man from the crowd wept loudly. "They shall take my family! Mu wife and my daughter!"

"I understand, sir. We will help you save your family. We shall all suffer the same fate, if we do not stand and fight!"

A woman from the crowd yelled, "How would we know that you don't serve on of Ganon's people? How do we know that you are not just leaving us into fear? Why should we beleive that evil is even in the South?"

"Well, for the first question, I swore to protect Hyrule, and I know my fate if I were to betray you. For the second, I serve no one.

The crowd was silent for a moment. So, when it was said that evil was uprising, it was not simply going to be fighting every so often, or helping tofind lost toys; Death, ruin, and pain would cme of it before too long. Three Hylian Knights rose form the crowd, and quietly joined Nogare. Then, two more. Then another. Then, a boy with nothing more than a torn shirt arose. Nogare stopped him. "Lad, this is going to be a fight where you will get hurt. I will not let you-"

"I know those bandits. My father is one of them. If he can see me, maybe he will stop."

"But he will kill you-"

"Beleive me. I know his weakness. Please..."

Hesitantly, Nogare said, "... All right, but promise that you stay with me the who of the time. You hear?"

The child nodded. "My name is Rotiart." Nogare welcomed him, and that is when you stood to join the other knights.

kasei walks onto the scene, wondering what is happening
what is going on?

A man beside says, "It's Ruto Town. Bandits are going to attack it t any time. We need to hurry and get enough men and trek there before they attack. I don't think the Town will last." He eyes your dagger. "Boy, you had better join that man with the staff over there. He needs as many man as possible. He saays there are about 20 bandits in all." Do you leave or step forward?

Denning comes, in cloak of course.

"I heard your plight, sounds like you need a cleric."

Denning stands near the back after wispering his statment.

Nogare looks to see who had spoken. Denning, from the battle in Parapa! He was here!- Although this could end up being like the man in the paper paper...

"Cleric wanted for ! Price on his head! Named Denning! of a Hyllian guard and his family! Read all 'bout it! Get your paper!"

But Nogare found the smile that wanted to leave him. "Welcome, Denning. Your assistance is greatly appresiated. I daresay that a Cleric is very needed. We need all the help from the goddesses that we can." He notted that a few other knights rose, and joined the group. There were 10 knights left. We need way more... thought Nogare. There was himself, the four from before the boy came, Denning, then the next five came now. They were coming in far too slow.

"Do none of you care for the fate of Ruto?! The heir of Water lives there. Although a small town, it still has at least fifty people who are depending on us to save them! Is your life in this well-guarded Castle more imporant of the people who have no protection but a few guards that you can count on your fingers?! Help them!" slowly, another came up. This fursated Nogare, but he said no more for a little while.

As Denning came up, Nogare spoke to him silently. "This fight will require not only strength, but desint weaponry. Only a tunic will kill you in the battle. You will want to be sure that you get desint armor when we get to Ruto Town. If more join within the hour, and we leave right then, we should have at least a few minutes to go around in town. I haven't personally been there myself, but my father had told me of an armory. i would get a jerkin or chainmail when we are there. I will, too..." He smiled and nodded, and as Denning stood beside Nogare, someone else came up (PC).

"Dont worry, my spells are more than enough. Dont mention my name here. Call me whatever you want, within reason of course."

Denning fades into the shadows to avoid the ever watching guards, he waits till the group leaves, then he will follow.

Blank had hesitated to stand by the knights, and had planned to bypass the brigade and go about his business, perhaps stopping to pickpocket payment for his next hot meal off one of the smaller warriors. Seeing Denning, however, a trusted friend, the nomad steps into the group at nods to Nogare. He also realizes he has nothing better to do, and decides to accompany Nogare on the journey. The man is still considered a stranger in Blank's eyes, but what better way to become acquainted then on a journey. Blank checks his small beer flasks to make sure they are filled to the brim, then approaches the party.

I'll come with you. There's always time for a good battle.

To Denning, Nogare nods. "I shall keep that in mind..." The first ting that came to his mind was murderer, but he could not say that. He did not finish that sentence.

And then seeing black arise from the crowd, he turned and welcomed him. "My name is Nogare. But you should know that the upcoming fight is only one to help save the people of Ruto, not one to enjoy. I have learned that from my father, Greyblade.
This is the first fight I really ever lead in, although I have been trained to. believe me; if you are strong and know we will win, then you will not die, I promise you. Ah, but where are my manners. What is your name?

OOC: Wow, I was saying to hurry up IC, but gee, already two people. I had thought about like 1, but 2 is great. Thanks, guys. (well, 2 1/2, really...)

kasei looks at the assembvled group. sure, I'll go, why not?
he he he, besides, this could be a great way to train!

kasei continues to babble about the benifiets of the fight, until finally he runs out of air...

Nogare looks top see who was talking, but didn't smile when he did. Kasei. He wanted to say no, but they needed as many as they could. And when he said that it was good for training, it made him sick. He treats war like it's a game. That sickens me. He said nothing. Then, a about five more joined the group. Then six more. good. They are coming up more, now... That's good. The more, the easier and better... Maybe only five more. We want to out-number them by as much as we can...

Alpha slowly walks up to the group. "What is this I hear about Ruto being under attack?" he yells at everyone present. "Whatever is happening, you have my support. Now let's hurry up and get moving!"

Nogare nodded to Alpha. He quickly went on. "Your help I appresiate. Now, only a few more." Two youths run up, as well as three other men in their 30s. Nogare smiled, seeing that this was plenty. "Wonderful. This will do. Hopefully you have already eaten, for there is much traveling from here to Ruto. Now, let us hurry!" the Hylian Knight turned to the villager who had told them of the bandits. "You must come withus. Tell us where you saw them.

The man was hesitant at first, being that they had destroyed his family, he agreed. "Very well, captain Nogare. I will do what I can."

"Good, but remember that I don't deserve hat title; I am only leading to victory."

"Oh, sorry... um..."

"Sir Nogare, thank you."

"Oh, I will rememeber that."

As the man finished that breif sentense, Nogare was already giving orders. If you have horses, grab them, and if not, then hurry by the stales and barrow one. Hasten!
When you have them, ride to the <a href="http://desertcolossus.com/adventures/vi ... =710">Ruto Town Square.</a>. He then turned to the boy. "You will ride on my horse. I don't own one, but I will get one..."

Ruto Town Square. No rest. Food and water will only be given if we get there early, which will likely not happen. If they are already attacking, no food or water until after the battle." Everyone began to run through the gates.

Winston came upon the scene, and saw what had happen.
