Deep in the desert, the group finally comes across the tombstone arrow. "We're supposed to follow the way it is pointing to continue, right?" Shada asks. At Alpha's affirmative nod, everyone heads towards the hole the arrow appears to be pointing to.

Right on the edge of the hole sits another note in a bottle. Alpha picks it up and removes the note from its confines. Unrolling it, he reads the eighth clue:
'A peaceful homestead lying by the field,
Where people’s bodies and spirits are healed.
Here can be found a beast and its bell,
But you should head past what like a rock fell.'

"Homestead is usually a farm... Lon Lon? Dent Family Farm?
Healing Seems more like lon lon, they have milk.
A beast and it's bell, cows usually have bells Dent doesn't really have beasts...
like a rock fell, maybe a wordplay on the injured roc by lon lon?"

Grenada smiles hoping that this is correct, he wants out of the desert.

Hmm, this one is a little tricky.

Cloud was thinking hard, he thought this was the hardest yet. He really had no clue.

I got it! It has to be Lon Lon Ranch.
A homestead could be the ranch itself. The field has to be Hyrule Field.
People's body and spirit are healed...that would be Lon Lon Milk.
The beast would be a cow. Its bell...the bell around its neck!
I dont know of any boulder though.

It was Strato who guessed it. He finally proved his worth in the group, if he's right that is.

That's very good, Strato. How did you guess? asked Cloud.

Well I wasn't flirting with Malon, if that's what your thinking.

EDIT: OOC: Oops, sorry, i didnt see your post. I started to type while you did, apparently you beet me. Hmph. :P

OOC: GEEZ GUYS!! CLUE 8 ALREADY!! GOD!! either your going to fast, or im going too slow! :P

IC: Dogura was beginning to question his abilities, as he caught up with the group. He sat down. *huff huff* "It has to be Lon-Lon. No question about it." Dogura said, still catching his breath.

"I suppose so," Alpha says in response to both Grenada and Strato's near-simultaneous outburst. "Lon Lon makes sense, as does the wordplay on 'rock' and 'Roc'. The Roc did fall quite some ways. I guess that means we should head to Lon Lon, then south past the Roc." He nods, excited. He can feel it - they're almost to the end of this scavenger hunt of Shodak's. When he is sure that the Goron will not talk about Alpha and Him, that will be the time when he can start relaxing again.

"Well, what are you slowpokes waiting for!" comes a cry. The group turns to see Shada already running over the sand dunes towards Lon Lon, and soon everyone is following her.

OOC: I just realized this...and boy, does this stink...but FoG, at least, the parts I have already written (which is a lot), is all on my laptop. For those of you who I haven't told, my internet network has gone all screwy and won't let me get online via the laptop. So...I have to copy all of my FoG parts manually. Part 1 by itself will take some time, and since we're moving at such an awesome pace...I'm going to postpone putting up Clue #9 for a little while. Hopefully I'll have copied everything in about an hour, so the setback will only be temporary.

Oh, and Dogura, you're just going too slow.

Thank you for your concern, and remember, in the case of an emergency of this magnitude, head to askaninja.com, which RG has said is just awesome. He does not lie.

Edit: I haven't finished the copying yet, but that's so boring I'm going ahead with Part 9. Expect the same delay for Part 10 if you solve that within the next hour.

To Clue #9!
