Shiekah?

Vaati

Ever notice how the eyeball sign that represents Vaati in certain places of FS, FSA, and maybe Minish Cap? On this one website (I forgot which one) they wondered about it and had this theory that it's the Shiekah sign. So...is Vaati part Minish/part Shiekah?  :-\

Hi no Seijin

The Minish could have their own Sheikah race, but the eye symbolism could just be coincidence.  The same thing could mean different things to different people.  To me, mistletoe is just a plant.  But to others, it's a symbol of fertility.

Also, the Shiekah, assuming that this is after TWW, are probably extinct by now, and the Minish, reading a book, happened upon it and liked it and took it as their own.

Hi no Seijin

That too.  And the Sheikah don't necessarily have to be extinct.  After all, they are the People of the Shadow.  They're masters of illusions, so there race could be in hiding, waiting for the appropriate time to reveal themselves.

Well, I only said they are probably extinct, based on what the game series shows. Plus, they was only one Shiekah shown in the game series, Impa, and she's definetly dead by now.

Vaati

I don't think it's the symbol of the Minish race, really, more like just Vaati's own symbol in general.

Or mabye it is what his inner self looks like, because when someone puts the Minish Cap on, it reacts differently to how pure their soul is.

Vaati

Having your inner self as a cyclops, puzzling.  :-\

It is possible the gravekeeper also was one. Besides, are the Sheikah a race or a tribe? Because if they are a tribe, it doesn't matter if Impa was the last official one. She only would need to get a few pupils and maybe a child and the tribe would stay alive. And if they are a race: there still is a "male Sheikah" alive at the end of (adult  ::))OOT. Sure, it depends a little on what one believes, but Sheik is a male Sheikah, even if only thanks to magic.

I think the eye symbol is just coincidence. I mean, look at our own world. Their are tons of eye symbols.

Vaati

Well, actually. Sheik was really Princess Zelda in disguise.

By inner slef, I meant what your soul would look like if it had a physical form.

I know, that's why I said "by magic". But Sheik is a male Sheikah if you ask me.

Evilslayer

Well, what happens in the adult ending doesn't matter. According to TSA TP destroys the split timeline so much it pretty much renders it impossible. :-*

Vaati

I don't really think that he is part shiekah, but there always could that slight possiblity.

Would you consider Link a Deku, Zora or Goron with the masks on or even a bunny in ALTTP in the Dark World? Magic in TLOZ can change one, translating his/her DNA to what it would be if that person was of a different species. So why would it be impossible for Zelda if she's Sheik? Her eye-colour and skincolour are different and no matter whether Sheik's a boy or a girl, he/she looks way more muscular in that form than as Zelda. Sheik is a Sheikah (if you ask me) and Zelda a Hylian, no matter if they are the same person.
