"Gah! Wow! Big place! And dark..." Hiro's fire shard lights up, allowing him to create a ball of fire in his hand. "Take one if you want, they don't burn. And they last forever." Hiro walks toward the pots. "Might want one of these..." He plucks a heart from the jars and pockets it. "Hey, Alpha! Glad you're here. We might need another Element Bender!" Hiro searches the room, hoping to find anything useful.

OOC: As you can see, Hiro is very excited to be here...

Standing apart from the rest of the group, who now surround the base of the tree, there is little that Raven can do but watch as more adventurers join them in the dankness that is the room the are currently trapped in. He glances at the new arrivals and shakes his head in either disbelief or disgust at the bare chested, unarmed, Sheng and at the exitedness of Hiro and both of them merely human.

Their presence of them means there less in this for me, as the our numbers increase my reason for being here decreases in almost equal measure and there is nothing I can do about it.. Raven clenches a fist. If only I were stronger. Then I wouldn't have to rely on such interesting people. He thinks as he looks at the diversity of the group.

He turns round and studies the characters roughly carved into the wood of the door, after staring and trying to make sense out of what he sees he admits, although he hates himself for it, that it isn't possible for one with limited learning such as himself to translate the langauge in front of him. He begrudingly walks towards the rest of the group.

'I found a message inscribed into the door, maybe one of can make out what it says, because it means nothing to me.' He says, not looking one person in the eye.

If only...

As Alpha waits for the seasons to change again (OOC: yes, in case you guys didn't notice, I did change the seasons to spring), he glances around at the new members that have assembled. The tall, shirtless man looks like a useful ally, and though Alpha recognizes him to a degree, he isn't able to place a name with the figure. Not until Julian calls him 'Sheng', at least.

The other newcomer he is quite familiar with. He removes his mask from his head for a few minutes, allowing his skin to breathe in fresh air again and nods to Hiro. "How have you been, Hiro?" he asks. He declines one of the fiery orbs the man offers him. A Sheikah is always more than happy to be in the darkness.

Slowly, he scoots away from the group and into the welcoming shadows of the room's corners. Raven stands by the door, Victor and Julian by the tree. He moves away from Sheng, Hiro, and Grenada as well, attempting to give himself breathing room. 'This is too much,' he finds himself thinking. 'Six months ago...I would have never found myself in this position...I would have never allowed myself to have companions along when I do not need them.'

'Then why don't I just leave?'
The thought strikes him suddenly, and a new confusion comes with it. 'With the Void...I could bypass all of these trials, leave them here, go find these Malvagios, and kill them myself. I don't need their help!' But even as he thinks this, he knows he can't go through with it. These people need his help, and when he thinks about it, he needs theirs as well. He can't take on a whole orginization himself, at least not after using the Void.

But the fact is that he is a loner at heart, and always will be. Nothing anyone can do will ever change that. Especially when he does not want to ever change it. Solitude is his lot in life, and that is the way he's come to like it. 'I may need their help,' he thinks, '...but I do not need their friendship.'

These thought done, he returns to the situation at hand, but does not leave the darkness. "Victor, why don't you see if you can read that writing on the door. This is the desert; maybe it's in Gerudic." He motions towards where Raven stands, hoping that he's made a lucky guess again.

OOC: Oh, by the way, I have plans Saturday at noon, so I probably won't be able to get on until 2 or 3. And then I have a b-day party to go to at 7:30...so I won't be on too much this weekend. Rather than just have people rudely hit the spinner on my face :x , I'm giving Raven permission to bear my mask whenever I'm gone. If he's not here, Victor gets it; if they both aren't here, then, well, you guys probably are quitting for the day. But, if not, Grenada can wear it. Please don't damage it; I've grown quite attached to it.

OOC: Alright, we're resuming! ^^ Yea, it looks like my availability during the week (Mon-Thurs) is pretty much nothing, but the weekend holds promise. Hopefully I can get on when the action is at a peak!

And, ah! Harris...Jack-ha...Toma...Sheng! Dylan, you're back! *cheers* And already you're satisfying Julian's requests that we write longer posts XD. Actually, lots of people are... Weien murmurs, "Sweet," under his breath.

Also, welcome, Dogura. It's not too late; simply have your character enter the room in some way (I have yet to do this myself, but will soon, so you'll see what I mean).

*feeling giddy* Alright, ok, I'll show up here for real once I get an... other thread up as I've promised *grin*.

Sheng Long cocks his head as he looks up at the mage in the branches of the tree. He lifts his pipe to his lips and draws deeply. He smiles, wolfishly (OOC: that one's for you Weien) and exhales a patchouli scented cloud through his teeth, saying:
I'm sure I do not know what you are talking about, Brother.
A shadow passes over Sheng Long's face, his brow furrows for a moment before he open's his mouth again to speak, pausing slightly before continuing:That was cruel of me. I am sorry, I do hope that we will be able to work together; putting aside our past. Closing his eyes and bowing his head he says: I, for one, have the utmost respect for you. You have demonstrated courage and power fighting for what you believe in. Though I do not agree with your beliefs I must respect your determination.

Seeing the Sheika (Raven) aproach Sheng Long's eyes go wide before he falls to his knees and bows his head, staring intently at the ground, eyes still wide he says:

Master Sheikah! You are one of the old ones... He breathes deeply, eyes still wide, still focused on the ground at the Sheikah's feet Forgive me, I have no offering to make you... except.. He lifts his hand to his mouth and bites the flesh between fore finger and thumb; drawing deeply he then spits the blood at the Sheikah's feet. I swear if by my life or death I can serve you or your tribe, I will do so.

OOC: Red good to see your handiwork again, sorry I can't join you as a rouge this game. Weien, good to be back. I am afraid I will not be able to join you on saturday as I have a prior engagement, but I hope to be here for sunday's game.

OOC : 15 pages later..... jeez...

IC : The well-sized group is suddenly startled as Blank enters, looking quite grimy and worn out. He had not faced any monsters since seperating from the group at the start of the journey, but had indeed fallen into numerous pits and had fallen prey to simple booby-traps (and he cursed that giant boulder under his breath). He hadn't expected to find his allies at all, in fact he had been looking for an exit the entire time. Standing straight and trying hard not show his cowardly intentions, he addressed the warriors as if he had been with them the entire time.
So I see you're all doing fine? Find any good spoils while I was away? Damnit, I never intended to become so lost. What happened while I was gone?

Realizing that two more people had joined the quest during his abscence, Blank decided to play it friendly and introduce himself, lest he seem rude.
Oh, hello there. Might I ask who you two are? Allow myself to introduce... myself. Blank Fireside, Nomad of Calatia, fiery guardian of all that is....

As he notices no one is paying attention, he gives up and rejoins the party, still embarassed that he had been lost so long, let alone getting lost in the first place.

Now, about Malvagio...

He denied himself the privelege to speak to the group. He imagined they were slightly enraged at his disappearance. He also realized the stinging brutality of his ignorance, so he held his tongue and hoped to catch a briefing second-hand

OOC: I guarantee I won't be around Saturday, at least not in the afternoon. In the event of anything big happening, feel free to do whatever's necessary with Blank to move on. Sunday I'll be here for a while. While my character may be embarassd for his ignorance, I too feel the same about my cluelessness in this system.

OOC:Doesn't look like anyone's here. Perhaps, we can do this Tomorrow, when everybody is set and ready to RP. I'm using today to progress on the second quest of the WW and familiarize myself with some new computer programs so unless anybody wants to play, then I'm just gonna take today off.

OOC: Doggone...I come home from a spend-the-night deal, eagerly awaiting a glorious number of crisp new posts, and all I find is this. A post made by Blank this morning - not that I'm complaining about Blank's post...far from it! But I sure was hoping to see that you guys might have gotten through this room!...or at least posted!

I'm with Julian, I guess. I'll be around until about 7 tonight, and I'll be constantly checking...but if nothing happens, then I guess I'll have to see you guys tomorrow.

You hear something, coming from the entrance that you came through. Something like:

"OooooACKoooooooACKoooooooooACKoooooooACKooooh!!"

Literally snowballing down the tunnel (that the raft had no problem traversing) is a person-sized bundle of... snow and person. The thing continues to roll even after crossing the point where the snow disappears, and collides with the base of the tree in a--wumpfh--explosion of powder, revealing a folded-up Arco, still hugging his knees in an unconventional Goron-rolling position.

After a second, he uncrumples, seating himself on his backside with his arms planted behind him. Breathing heavily, he glances sympathetically at the ruined state of his garments and half-heartedly tries to smooth down his hair. Miraculously, he only looks somewhat bruised.

"Hrrrm Surrrek Rrrolllrrr," he mumbles, standing up at last. He then bends over, waits a second, and then snaps his entire body back up, sending the last of the snow sticking to him up in the air, and (surreally) ironing out some of the creases on his cloak.

After another moment of still silence, he tiptoes closer to the perimeter of the room, where he relaxes quite visibly, busying himself with looking around and noting who else is also in the room...

OOC: I also plan to be checking a lot ^_^.

The zora, clearly disgusted by the friendliness of the nomad, walks off. The heels of his shoes clacking against the stone floor, leaving black smudges on the thin sheet of leaves still littering the floor. His eyes capture the faint, rough lines on the door, mocking him from afar. He joins the sheikah, clearly upset that he can't decipher its meaning and checks the markings, even though he isn't at all familiar with any other language than common and his own native zoran. With skeleton like hands he rubs his fingers over the stone sketches as he attempts to match maybe pictures to the symbols.

"You have to at least try, sheikah. If you don't we're just going to have to spend more time with each other and everyone knows how hard being social is, right?" The mage says, a light chuckle escaping him, more nefarious than friendly.

Azador enters the great and dangrous palace,
So this is the o so great Parapa Palace he thinks.
He looks at the left wall, a strange symbol is carved on it.
Strange the ancient people of Parapa didn't make any language or so ever.
What if i press on it.
The ground began to shake and a stairs appeard.
So there is an secret path after all.
Walking down the stairs.
In the distance he sees a group.
i don't know whats going on but it will always end with a fight, Azador joins.

( I wan't to join to if ya don't mind )

OOC: I've been here, too. Waiting and watching. It's sad that Saturday, the day that I had all the time in the world, we weren't active, but today, the day that I have to leave at 3 to eat dinner (parents = crazy), we decide to continue. Oh well.

IC: Looking to Alpha, Victor nodded.

"I guess I could check it out. Might be written in Moblinish, though. Or even Infernal..."

Before finishing this last sentence, however, Victor began to walk away from Alpha. While moving towards the door, Victor sets his eyes on the newcomer who called himself Sheng Long, now bowing at Raven's feet. Raising an eyebrow but doing nothing else, he passed without saying a word.

Before he could make it, though, the snowball hurtled into the room, and the collision with the tree caused Victor to turn his head. Seeing Arco, he smiled; leave it to Arco to make a grand entrance. Deciding to leave greetings for later, Victor continued towards the door.

The text looked so foreign when compared to common, inscribed on the ancient door in an unfamiliar place. Hoping against hope that he could translate it, Victor began to examine the text, his eyes moving from side to side as they took in the inscription. Even while doing this, Victor spoke to Julian, who had taken interest in the door as well:

"That guy with no shirt... Sheng Long. Do you know him or something?"

Julian, startled by the bard who seemingly appeared out of no where, stays silent. His eyes glance towards the bard, narrowed and uninviting. He mumbles something, too low to understand but its tone clearely signaling to shut up and keep looking at the damn door. With a huff and sigh he decides to speak.

"I rather not say, bard. It is between me and Sheng Long, that is his name, that shirtless man...Now, did you get anything from these markings, if you didn't don't talk to me..."

His words, cold and lifeless as a stone, end abruptly. His eyes, now concentrating on the strange markings, look as if they would pierce through its stone exterior and bleed the words that are sketched into the stone. His silence is deafening and if you were to talk to him, you'd likely think that your talking to a wall, a very rude wall.

Raven looks perplexed as Sheng suddenly drops to his knees in front of him. It's not a response he has been used to getting, in fact he has never had such a response in his life. He likes the fact that is he is called 'master' by the newcomer, he doesn't quite know on how to respond to being called 'one of the old ones'. Though Raven finds it hard to hide his look of distain and disgust as blood is spat at his feet.

Taking half a step back, Raven says:

'You can serve us both by getting up off the floor. You won't be any help to anyone down there. Also I would prefer it if you called me, Raven.' As he says this Arco rolls in and collides with the tree in a spectacular display of snow and stupidity. He sighs 'And by the looks of it we'll need all we can get.' At least he could be useful. He thinks looking at Sheng. I'm so sure about the others though.
