OOC: I'm Back!
OOC: Oh, damn it. I'm in for a world of pain now, huh? Maybe I shouldn't have been so cocky. And is anyone else putting on some battle music for this?
Me!
IC: Its safe! lets dive in!
"Kasei, don't!" hissed Nogare. "I can tell somethings in here..."
Nogare is listening so hard to what could be there. He knew something was there. He didn't hear anyone say anything to him...
It takes up the entire center of the room, a full seventy feet in width, and it floats nearly two hundred feet tall, almost touching the top of the dome.
"What in the name of Din is that?!" He readied himself, and went for the beast. He was hit out opf the air. (being why he missed the next few pages worth of fighting...)
After many long minutes. Nogare came back to his senses. He awoke to see that he had missed out on most of the fight. "Damn you Hakiems!" He yelled. He got back up, although his face was bleeding. But he looked to his companions. Cloud looked like he was going to die in moments! How in Goddesses' names could he have let this happen to them! Cloud was the worst; he needed to help him!
He hurried towards the Hylian Mage. "Hiiki za kamigami..." (Gift of the Goddesses) He healed Cloud, not fully, but 75%...
OOC: Alpha, sinc my PM, I was... somewhere secret in HA2 doing... something secret... and then I had to tyake a shower... and then I wrote this. Thanks for keeping track of me stat-wise.... And thanks for NOT replying to tghat useless PM sent... it was the dumbest question I've ever asked...

OOC: I assume you mean Favor of the Goddesses, Nogare. Two things: 1) that only gives Cloud 50% of his health back - 12 HP - and 2) I just read that that requires an Innate Check.
IC:
Nogare's Innate check is successful (13+4[Roll+INT] vs. 15). His prayer can be seen taking a visual effect, as his hands suddenly glow red, green, and blue. This energy is passed into Cloud, who regains 12 HP from the spell.
Cloud: 13 HP, 10 SPL

OOC: Wrong! Thanks for the correction, though. You see, favour of the Goddesses is the same as L1 life, which, like you said, recovers 50%. But my sig should say that I have favour of the Goddesses (L2), which, I would think, is like L2 Life, no? L2 Life does 75%.

OOC: NOOOOOOOOOO! It's equeal to L2 Life! I don't want to change it, since Favour of the Goddesses is my racial spell, and I like it... since 'L2 life' isn't as... traditional, you know?

OOC: Um, sorry to seem like a nag, but can we move on so I can die already? And supposing that Rose does die before she can be healed, does that mean I can't use her in Force of Gold anymore?

OOC: Oh thanks Alpha, thats exactly what I needed! Why must the good die young?
IC: Dogura stood up, a bit dazed from his last encounter with the beast. "Well, I guess i jynxed myself." Dogura said, as he tried to get a grip on reality. "D-Damn oversized squid..." He muttered as he fell on the ground. "Stop the room please, i would like to get off." Dogura said flatly, as he tried again to stand up." F-FAVOR OF THE GODESSES!" Dogura chanted, again falling to the floor.
OOC: Stop the room please i'd like to get off

OOC: First off, sorry Nogare, but since there is no L2 FotG, you gotta use the regular one. Hate to disappoint you.
Oh thanks Alpha, thats exactly what I needed!
Hey, Dogura, the thing was random! I've used the dice roller every time I use that attack, and you just happened to become confused. But it turns out you're in luck.
Why must the good die young?
Because: 'Only the good diiiie young! - Doooo-dee-doo-doo-doo - Only the good! ...'
Oh, and Rose won't die, HNS. She'll just fall unconscious, to be revived after the fight is over. Unless Denning revives you before that with Resurrection.
IC:
Dogura manages to focus enough that he uses the correct spell (2[Roll]=Act normally). However, his Innate check fails (4+1[Roll+INT]), and the healing energies are not activated.

OOC: Now why the hell would you want to die?! (Hah. Another stupid quetion.... )
Oh, and, I like your new avatar, Cloud! You saw Advent Children yet?
And Alpha, don't edit that other post; just reply to this. But no one informed me! Oh well...
IC: Nogare was beginning to panic. Cloud wasn't being healed as well as he had been wanting. "Please, Cloud!" he focused harder than he had been. He closed his eyes, and murmured the words. Come on, Nayru! Let him live... help him... Nothing happened, other than an average healing. Blast! Why is this not working now, of all time?! As Cloud was awake. "Glad to see you again, friend." He smiled. At least he's alive... He hurried away, without explaining what had happened, he tensed his grip at his new sword, and turned to look at the group. I should have done this at the start of the battle "Leadership!"
OOC: Ok, Alpha, I know you're not stupid, but I'm just saving you the time of having to look at the Rules Set...
Leadership—Allows you to assume command of the party and rally its morale to the defeat of an obstacle. By using Leadership you choose to temporarily (for three rounds) buff a stat. Stat is further buffed by +1 if entire party targets a single enemy.
L1 +3 buff to stat 2 TP

I Know I was just messin with ya!
IC: Dogura had regained conciousness with a succesful spell. He decides to take his revenge, as he dashes tword the beast and uses all his might to deliver a stunning blow to the monster.
OOC: Dogura wont attack after this, this is my last time, in fear of the samurai dying. I want to stay alive through this

OOC: Hey Alpha... Guess who's back to take control over Grenada... WRONG! Hahaha... Anyway, thanks and good job, I appreciate it.
You all are some crazy fools... 28 pages of posts... And you complained about missing a of couple hours...
IC: Taking a look around, Grenada noticed the tired battle-weary attitudes of those around him. Somehow finding an abundance of energy within him, he tries to get eveyone ready for the real battle to begin. A battle against yourself... A test of your will...
"Get up! Lets finish off this demon!!!"
He yells in an excited tone, and a smile devours his face as he motions toward the beast. In truth, Grenada was tired of standing around, literally. His legs were beginning to tighten, but he knew the best cure for that, and taking his sword back on the right side, he began a battle charge with a deep cry:
"Bring em hell!"
As he approached, his legs began to slow and his arms began to twist. Concentration drips freely from his leafy head, and he forces his atrocious looking blade toward the first tentacle.

Hey, you were gaurding me!
OOC: Yeah, but thats Cloud's job, remember!
IC: Grenada's war cry filled the air with hope, and seemed to raise depressed spirits. Dogura's mind filled with reniewed hope, made him want to attack a second time, but he knew that wouldnt be wise. He decided to stay next to Rose, should anything happen. She was going on the brink of death, and Dogura was not about to let that happen. He was slowley beggining to realize, that friends are important, and you need to be able to rely on others if you want to survive for any amount of time in this world. He gripped his dagger tight, daring anything to harm one of his friends.

OOC: Ack! I go to work an a movie and what do I get when I return? An almost dead Blank! Thanks a lot, Alpha. And after all the attacks that just happened to find Victor rather than Alpha in CGG
And by the way, The Ballad of Ricky Bobby was hilarious!
IC: Blank was feeling odd. The intoxicating aroma of some sort of poison drifted through his head, scoping out his brain cells and causing him to feel drowsy. He wished that there were some way to make the awful toxins fade away, but alas, the nomad knew what had happened. He had been singled out by the terrible Dyquis, and poisoned. He now sat slumped against the wall just next to the ice-covered door, his face white as a ghost. Every so often, a horrible lurch in his stomach propelled a "fresh" wave of a disgusting fluid to his mouth - vomit. Not here... anywhere else... He could not fight it, and he found himself crawling to the water, hurling into the monster's territory and washing his face off, despite putting himself in such close proximity to the boss.
He had never felt so wronged. Here he was, an honest nomad seeking only the well-being of a close friend and perhaps a god portion of sacred Hakiems treasure - the former being of greater value, right? And what had he received? A massive headache, and a stomach loaded to the brim with his own reeking fluids. The thought made him sick. More so than he already was. In fact, he could not recall ever having been any more ill than now. Not even after being savagely attacked by a Western Sting Toad of Calatia, which had left him unconscious for days. At least in this scenario he could feel the awful sensations. It seemed that with every heave of the dingy vomit, more and more of his vitality was flowing freely as well.
He had had enough of this. Gasping as another wave bubbled viciously in his poor system, the Hylian reached for his sword, angered that he had been overwhelmed by such a hideous creature. He shuddered as he looked at the blade... whatever the tentacles were made of, his blade was practically soaked in it. He shook his head, staggering towards the head, heaving his oxygen out in stressed and pained exhales. One might even observe the greenish-purple mist emitted in each breath. Fighting the poison to lift the sword, he plunged it into the closest tentacle with all his might, his eyes alive with fury as they had been earlier. At this point, the nomad could utter only one typical statement. However, the single word always had the same effect.
"Die!"
